Hi there, I’ve just received a B&O Beolit 20 and already own two IKEA Symfonisk and am wondering if there is any way to connect these products? I wanted to get a Sonos bluetooth product to be able to connect everything to my Samsung Freestyle but got gifted a Beolit (which is incredible but not sure about the connectivity 😅)! Thanks for any help, Roxane
How can I pair Move 2 with Ray soundbar?
Any help with getting the ideal setup for my apartment tv room, dining room and living room? I have my planned setup below but I am open to any recommendations and advice.
My sonos roam suddenly started emitting a machine gun/ jackhammer sound whilst it had been playing for several hours.i managed to reboot it but this is rather disconcerting. i submitted a diagnostic report. I hope someone from support can check this out and diagnose the issue.id 78685789Thanks
We have used Sonos to support music listening in multiple rooms for 10+ years. Most of the rooms have built-in speakers powered by Connect Amps, with each room having its own amp. However, we do also have a Sonos Move and other products attached to the system.Over the past couple of months we’ve been having problems with our Kitchen speakers. Music will stop every few minutes, then restart a minute or so later. This has been occurring when we are playing music in the kitchen alone, or when the kitchen is grouped with other rooms. Of note, this stopping and starting has not been an issue in any of the other rooms.I’m not sure where to start with diagnosing this issue, but would greatly appreciate assistance!thanks.
How do the sonos speakers work with sonos. I am ised ro have foogke home speakers but want something better
Hi all!I bought a TP Link (AX21) Wireless Router. Initially, I could not find ANY of my speakers and every time it said it could not connect to the SONOS network when I tried to transfer over. Frustrated, I let it be overnight. This morning, I went to play music and saw that my PLAY 5 (brand new) had suddenly connected. I have no idea when that happened because last I saw, NOTHING had connected prior to me leaving it alone. I have factory reset my speakers, as this website told me to do, however I still cannot connect to my other, slight older, Play 5’s nor any of my Play 1’s or Move. When it comes to settings inside the route, I know how to get into the router to make changes, however, I really don’t know what any of it means. I’m hoping you smarties either know what I need to do with settings OR you’ve been through this issue and can walk me through fixing it. Thanks, Teddy
How can I set up with Sonos app to pair Beam with Sonos one automatically on startup using airplay to Apple TV and - NOT have it be surround sound? Every time I restart I have to use the Sonos app to re-pair the speakers. I have a Beam and two Sonos One SL’s but want the same sound in all three.
I have changed the wifi settings in my home, which means that the wifi has changed name. Now I am trying to connect my Play:1 to my new WiFi.I can complete all the steps in the Sonos-setup-guide. The Play1-loudspeaker starts to make a sound etc. In the next window in the setup guide the texts says something like:“Lets now connect Play:1 to your Wifi: [The name of my WIFI here]In the next window I enter the password to my WIFI.I am 100 percent certain, that I enter the correct password. But still I get the message: “An error occurred connecting to [The name of my WIFI here]Do you know, what might be going wrong? And how I can fix this problem?Thank you very much in advance.Best regardsJakob
Hello,I have a weird problem with a Sonos playbar, When the Playbar has an internet connection via ethernet and when i add it to Sonos app with 3 more speakers the connection of the whole home network drops, this is only with ethernet connection, when i change the network configuration to wifi the problem is fixed. Also when i add a new Sonos system with only the Playbar, ethernet does work perfectly.2 of the 3 other speakers are on wifi and 1 is connected with ethernet. When i configure using app the network connection loss begins when i choose the room of the Playbar. What is here the problem? The orange ethernet light is flashing abnormal quick when i added it to the Sonos app with the 3 speakers.
We have a sonos SL one that we previously connected without any issue to our Huawei model B311-211 which uses SIM card for internet access. This router provides us wifi to our phones, computers, and worked with the sonos SL one without issue. A few months later, we got a new SIM card for internet with a new provider, and installed it into the exact same router. From that point, the sonos SL one stopped functioning, and when we attempt to connect it to the wifi network, it gives a "having trouble connecting to the internet" error. Can anyone help with us?
I can’t connect my Play 1 to my Philippine wifi. Is there a problem using the Play 1 in the Philippines or is it my wifi provider?
Hi Brains Trust. My Play1 and Play 3 will not reset to Flashing Green Light despite MANY times powering off and re-booting while holding the two buttons. Just stops at Orange Flashing light , which won’t allow connection.Any idea's please? Thanks
I currently have an era 300 in one corner of my room and a HomePod in the opposite, I have a fairly small room so the sound when both connected via airplay fills the room great with a decent amount of base.I got the era 300 as I was upgrading my turntable set up and it accommodates it and it does sound great, however I obviously can't connect the HomePod at the same time so only comes out the Era, I listen to a lot of jazz, swing and blues via the turntable, therefore requires a lot of bass but I don't think its quite good enough with just the one speaker without turning up the volume too much. I turned up the bass via the app but then it overloads the vocals.I love hearing the bass without compromising the rest if the instrumentals. Long story short do I add a sub mini to the set up or a Sonos five?
Hi,I know these are submitted a lot, but I figured I’d put my diagnostic number in and see if I could get some help.Diagnostic confirmation number: 1173542559My speakers constantly drop out, specifically my Move, Play:1, Connect, and Play:5. This happens even if I’m doing streaming or from my turntable which is connected to one of the 5’s.We gave them their own IP addresses to stop them from being assigned new ones constantly and that worked for a bit but we are back to things dropping in and out. We’ve rebooted, moved them around, tested with one directly hooked into the router, nothing worked. Thanks for any help you can provide!
I have a beamgen2 and 2 era speakers but cant get any sond from speakers while watching a film ?
Hi all, I've had a Sonos system with 3 Sonos One's working for years without any real issues. We recently switched to Fibre which meant having our router on an outside wall, thanks to a breeze block built house we then needed an Amazon Eero mesh system to get any signal outside of the kitchen! Now none of our Sonos speakers will connect and it's driving me insane! I've tried switching the router to Bridge mode, pausing the 5ghz signals and buying a boost to run them all on Sonos Net but every time when trying to add the speakers again I only get as far as "connecting to your Sonos One" then it says unable to connect. Tech support told me to ring my internet provider who told me about the pausing 5ghz signal thing but it's still not working. It's like there's a WiFi setting which is blocking it from adding the speakers
3 months ago, we got Starlink. I migrated all of my Sonos and Airplay devices to the new wifi (different router, different SSID). Since we had prepaid for the other ISP we retained that router and wifi network. Everything has worked perfectly for 3 months. Then, suddenly about 2 hours ago, every sonos device switched back to the old wifi network. The other Airplay devices are still on Starlink and the Starlink connection is working fine. It’s kind of a pain to move each device back one by one any advice on how to move them back and keep them there?
IMy sub stopped powering on. As much as a paid for my Sonis I would expect a free or repair or replacement, bit instead Sonos offer me 30% off. Why would I purchase another are more Sonos for the same to occur. Nice sound, but build poorly electronically. Keep you 30%. I sure I can find another set of qualify speakers a5 a better price and better reliability. Very dissatisfied cistomer.
If I initiate music through Apple Music app, Sonos App shows “plying through Airplay” and there is no easy way to switch from Airplay stream to direct Sonos streaming without having to stop the Apple app, terminate it, than restart music playing from recently played on Sonos app. Sonos music search within Apple Music catalogue is buggy and slow so I have to often start music in the Apple app and then fight with switch streams. It makes v. difficult to stream music in the background when you want to watch something else on IPhone on the same time
The response that the SL speakers can be set up on a split system, if you have S1 compatible speakers as the rest of your system is unsatisfactory if we don’t want a split system. We just bought an SL and it won’t play with the rest of our system. We have two connect amps, one connect and one play 5 speaker. We wanted a small speaker to add to the kitchen in the house but to run off the same system/controller. Do you make any products that we can add to this system?
Hi , I tried to connect Era 100 speaker to a LG TV webOS 5.50.15 without results. Both TVs ( I tried in two different ones) recognize it as a Bluetooth device and connect with it, but no sound results are in the speaker when I select the Sonos. In the Sonos app I tried to figure out and it recognized the TV connection . Every forum chat is about ARC and HDMI or optical connections. Not my case . I tried to test the Sonos Bluetooth connection with my telephone and worked. I get sound Thanks for your help !
I currently have my Play:1 assigned to a specific room. I now want to assign that to a new, previously undefined room. There doesn’t seem to be any way to create a new room, or move the speaker that I want to move. The speaker remains stubbornly assigned to its original room.I have tried both the desktop app and the ipad/iphone apps.I have read various posts, but none of the suggestions there seem to work. I am currently using the S1 app as I have some devices which are not compatible with the S2 app.Is there a way to remove the speaker from the system so that I can make a fresh connection to my system, or is there a way to create a new room/move the existing speaker to a new room?
I have two Play 3s and in recent months they have started to cut in and out more and more. At times they work fine and then other times they are infuriating. The music can play for literally 5 seconds and then stop for a few seconds or longer. I lose the ability to control them from the app as the app says it can't find them or my wifi is unstable. They end up having a mind of their ownI have no other issues with wifi and have been onto my provider and even had a new router but this has not improved anything. It gets to the point I don’t want to use it! My son has a Play 1 which is newer and there seems to be no issue with this. Give the age of the Play 3 do they just wear out or lose wifi capability?
Can you hook external speakers to a Sonos Play 3?
