Hi, I have a One and One SL which I use as a stereo pair, if I bought the Era 100, can I add that to the existing system and play music through all 3?
I have 5 play:1 speakers, and often experience failures on one or more of them. The music plays and suddenly the speakers alternately stop working, then start again, this happens over a period of several minutes. There is good wireless coverage, I have tried switching between the channels. The software and the app are updated, other apps can access the web just fine - why do these failures happen??
So, I’m trying to understand how Sonos currently deals with SonosNet? My Sonos environment is a good 12 years old, and was using SonosNet wireless before connecting directly to reliable wifi networks was a thing. I’ve had issues with SonosNet on and off over the years. As I’m currently on an On period of having issues with it, and I have a very reliable wifi network these days, I figured maybe it’s about time to move off of SonosNet and dedicatedly use only WiFi and wired connections. I went into my network settings and could see info about SonosNet and my wifi network there. But it wouldn’t let me do anything until I did an app update, so I did. I’m now on the *new and redesigned* app. However now, when I go into Network settings, I see nothing about SonosNet, the ONLY thing I see is my wifi network there. Yet, if I go into look at About My System, all my devices say they are connected by WM: SONOSNET, including both my wireless and wired speakers. The only one that say
Hello, I have a system of 8 various Sonos speakers that I set up about 6m ago. The system has been working great. But a couple days ago the two Era 100s (newest speakers in my system) stopped working. I tried the a factory reset. Seemed to work, but when I tried to add them back to my system it said unable to connect. Deleted and reinstalled the app, tried it again. Still saying unable to connect.Any advice? Thanks,
Trying to decide best placement for my 2 rear ERA 300 speakers. I want to place them higher up on the wall close to the ceiling, I know the ideal distance is 1-2 feet below the ceiling for wall mounts. I don't want them in the middle of the wall.Option 1)I think this will be best placement, but it's both speakers to the right & left of the circle mirror. This would allow me to place them 1-2 feet below ceiling. The entire wall is 9 feet wide, so it would allow about 7.5-8 feet between the speakers.Option 2)The archway really complicates things because if I mount it in the middle of the archway it's way too close to the ceiling. So I could mount it all the way to the right side of the picture, because of the archway, I would only be able to get the speaker about 10" from the ceiling, the 2 speakers would be about 20 feet apart.Any advice is appreciated!Option 1Option 2Any help is appreciated! I know the archway does not make for the ideal situation!
Merci! Moderator Note - Translation by Google:Hello, one of my first generation Play5 speakers has been making very bad sound for a few days. It hasn't moved and the second Play5 located at the other end of the room continues to work perfectly: apart from considering it ruined, is there anything to be done? THANKS!
I have made a significant investment in my Sonos system and it has become unusable. I want my money back. What makes this even worse is customer support. You have an 800 number that you can dial with wait times between 45 and 55 minutes, pretty much no matter when you call.I can begin to tell you how much I now hate SONOS.
I have the latest version of the app, the new version. Now, when I play music, it cuts out, primarily with Amazon HD music. It’s frustrating because one of the benefits of having Sonos is being able to play music throughout the house, but speakers are not responding when I try to play Amazon HD music, which I subscribe to. Help!
Update available today. Installed on first pass for the first time in a long time. Forced to re-do Trueplay and EQ related settings for main room surround setup, the only speakers that regularly use Trueplay. Was hoping for an accompanying Ace firmware but no luck.
I'm trying to troubleshoot my second hand (bought as for parts) Sonos One Gen 2. It is working fine, but the flex cable leading to the button that has to be pressed for reset is broken. Which means the button isn't working and it cannot be reset. Which means I have to shorten pins on the board, trying to reset it (as if the button is pressed).Had anyone been in this situation before? I'm planning to try with a multimeter tomorrow, but perhaps anyone know already out of experience which pins to shorten.Anyone that can help with this? The first picture is the flex cable, the second one is a close up of the board, where the cable enters the board.
Is there anyone else having problems with changing the wifi? I have updated the app, connected to ehternet cable and cant change to a new wifi network. Im going to network>administrate network, and it will not show my speakers. Im open for any suggestions. Thanx
I had a rat take up residence in my Sub and chew the 6 wire ribbon cable from the power supply to the main board. Does anyone know how I can this part? I have reached out to Sonos to no avail. I also talked to some audio folks and nothing either. Bricked my $700 sub for a $1.50 cable.

Good Afternoon All,I have had issues with my Sonos system for sometime, and have been playing around for a while with different setups but nothing seems to help.I have four of the origional play 1’s and a boost - the app is very slow to connect to speakers, sometimes skips to the next track half way through one, it gets confused as to what is playing on what speaker, just quite a pain. I do have BT, using 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz… and I have the BT Black Discs… (I tested my system with these switched off mind) still same issues. The app struggles to find the devics, and I’m at the end of my tether with them. I have configured by BT router to use Channel 11 for 2.4 Ghz, and Channel 36 for 5 Ghz - and set the Sonos Boost / SonosNet Channel to 6… hoping to reduce the interferance, but hasn’t helped.I have the Boost now wired into the main BT Router, it did seem to setup fine, updated, but now says that the Boost is unavailable and the app won’t find any other speakers…Sonos OS is S2.. Built 1…Any

Can a single Era 300 be used to process Dolby Atmos through an LG smart TV without a soundbar? Likewise, are the ‘spatial audio’ capabilities produced by a single unit? I appreciate ‘surround sound’ but rather am looking for a single unit which reproduces multiple ranges. TY
I’ve got Sonos Amp + Sub with a pair of KEF Q150. Looking to replace the Q150 with Beolab 18. How can I connect? Thanks. Beolab 18 First time setup Beolab has toslink and RCA.

Hola muchos saludos. Eliminar t
I have a Play 1 device and have recently changed internet provider. If the device is plugged into the new router, all works fine as far as the set up goes, but as soon as I unplug to go wireless, the app stops working, as if there is no device. I have factory reset, and the device works normally with the green light and chime, etc. The problem appears to be localised to the wireless end of things, but I can’t think what it might be. Any help would be appreciated.
From the look of it apple will update airplay2 soon and we will be able to get dolby atmos from airplay2! https://www.digitaltrends.com/home-theater/spatial-audio-airplay-dolby-atmos/?amp this means i guess we can dolby atmos music without relying on sonosnapp? No pun intended, for my spotify or general music playing i almost go to airplay2 by default maybe because it’s an old habit. what do you guys thinl?
Can the black shipping bag remain on the Sonos Five while in use? I’m putting two Fives in a finished and temp controlled garage man cave that may have a little dust from time to time.

Hi There,I have some troubleshootings with the configuration of my ONE SL device. The devices never appear into the SONOS app.I saw that I was not the only one to have this kind of issue, and I followed all the steps of this topic :Unfortunately it still not woking properly.I always have a 1101 error code during the process.Or the problem comes from my router (I assigned a static address to the device and open all the protocols availables : AH - GRE - ESP and ICMP), or the problem comes from the SONOS hardware.Does anybody could help ?
