How do I disable the buttons on my playbar in the new app?

I just brought the ikea symfonisk and just done updating my network for the symfonisk but i am still unable to setup a new system as i am unable to find my Symfonisk in the network. 1. Router is set to 2.4g and connected to Symfonisk2. Phone is connected to the 2.4g network as well 3. Update network works fine i tried 5g, 2.4g still unable to solve the issue4. in my router settings i can see that Symfonisk and my mobile phone is connected to my 2.4g network but still unable to find each another in Sonos app.5. I disable 5G network in my router settings, therefor theres only 2.4g for symfonisk to be connected to ​​​​​​​P.S - Mobile used - SAMSUNG FOLD 5 , SAMSUNG S24 ULTRA , IPHONE 13 PRO

I have a PLAY:1 speaker that hasn’t been connected to my Sonos system (consisting of approx. 15 speakers) for a few months or so.  This means that the speaker has not received any software updates lately.In the meantime, all my other Sonos speakers have been updated AND my Android Phone has received the absolutely HORRIBLE (sorry Sonos !!!) Sonos app update.BUT: Now I’m trying to add the old PLAY:1 speaker to my system… It simply doesn’t work.  I tried all of the following:I simply powered on my old PLAY:1 and hoped that it would connect to the system (via WIFI) so that I would be able to see it in the app and then update it… But I don’t see the speaker, and if I select “Add Speaker or Component”, then the “Searching for nearby products...”-window just hangs indefinitely. I tried to factory reset the PLAY:1 (power on while passing down a few buttons and waiting  for flashing orange light), then I repeated the “Add Speaker or Component” procedure, but the result was the same!!! Good Day everyone .Since the new app is arrive, I see some changes, these are difficult changes for me,For example, if you want to change your volume it doesn’t show the percentage how loud i you listen your music. In older version was so that every time you change your volume higher or lower. It was on a site some Scale, some Percentage Number that shows you how loud you hear your music..please, if it’s possible on the next update, return this function on iPhone or every systems that works with the Sonos speakers. Thanks a lot for your kindly reply. Ich habe einige meiner Lautsprecher ca. 3 Jahre nicht benutzt. 2x Play 3 und 2x Play 1. Eine Play 1 wurde die Zeit genutzt, jetzt nach dem Umzug in eine neue Wohnung. Wollte ich alle Boxen wieder in das neue WLAN und system einbinden. Bekomme aber immer Probleme beim Update oder teilweise schon bei der Raumauswahl.Habe alle Lautsprecher zurück gesetzt, neuen Account erstellt und bis auf den Aktuellen Play 1 bekomme ich nichts eingebunden. Die stehen maximal als unregestriert in der Sonos(S2) App. Die sind nicht für die S1 App, die sagt ich müsse ein downgrade machen.Und ich habe es auch mit LAN Kabel, anderem Handy, alles neu installiert. Egal was ich mache laut Sonos App habe ich kein Internet um das Update zu installieren.Internet funktioniert, die Fritzbox zeigt auch bei der einen Box an das die online ist. My Sonos has stopped working since the new update. 

I have 15 Sonos speakers + 2 surrounds connected via a Sonos amp. I usually have no problem playing audio in multiple rooms. I recently added an Era 300 and now my system is unstable. The music will drop out of random rooms. I have Eero 6 Pro WiFi with Gigabit Ethernet. I was previously using SonosNet to keep the speakers off my primary WiFi but ERA 300 only connects via WiFi. Is there something I need to do to make sure my configuration is stable?

What am i supposed to do with my Play:1 that simply won’t power up any more.  Is there some troubleshooting or mystery button sequence that will reset it or something?  Or will Sonos simply replace the unit?

I made it through the recent app updates pretty well and my system is working for me. At least it was until today. I was working in the house and decided to hit the “everywhere” button so that I could hear music as I moved the room to room. It was wonky, and kept selecting some rooms but not others. I finally decided to turn it off, which was a problem in itself because I had to unselect each room numerous times to get it to work.  Now I’m trying to watch TV and I realize there’s no sound from my beam and sub mini. Changing the music in various rooms doesn’t do anything either. The entire system is silent even though the app shows music playing and the TV is on Any suggestions ?

Does anyone actually know if either SonosNet is still alive but „hidden“, or will the current updates (App/Firmware) only use WiFi?

My 4 Moves (two stereo pairs) are suddenly unable to connect to my other speaker groups. I can group MOVES and stream music over them but unable to add any other speakers to the group.Any one else having a similar problem?

I have Sonos play 5 - it was not using few months - when i tried to Connect to my system - is WiFi error, cannot be update or start update and nothing happens - i contacted with Sonos chat and i got reply „we will inform You when will be update, no end date” - what I can do with this speaker I cannot use or sold. For me is not solution i have  not working speaker   

I have had a Sonos Five for a while, and I have recently purchased a Sonor Move ( not version 2).It should be possible to play them together, right? Not necessarily as a stereo pair, but to be able to play a song, and the audio comes out of both?I am able to play each of the speakers, but when I choose the speaker, and can check off for both and click “apply”, I get the message: “Unable to connect, try again later”.I have tried all these tricks: and I have also ensured that both speakers are connected to the same wifi router.  This is supposed to work, right? What am I missing?

Era one’s will not go into pairing mode.  No blue flashing light. Factory reset multiple times and reset router. I’ve had them one day.

I just transitioned from Klipsch to SONOS  in Dec 23. I was getting familiar with my ARC - until the update hit.Why would SONOS ever roll back the ability for its users to sync their personal music libraries? It was one of the qualifiers for me to even consider SONOS. Looks like I have to wait for an update now. Where are the “agile methodologies” at SONOS with waiting until essential integrations are ready before pushing out an update??? It’s simple common sense to frustrated consumers/users. Knew I hung on to my Klipsch Heresy II speakers and wireless sub for a reason. They still sound amazing after 39 years and NEVER had a tech or software issue with them!

Since the app update, I can only add one surround sound speaker to my Sonos Beam can you tell me why this is?

I’ve got 4 Ones and a Beam around my apartment. We moved recently and I got 3 Ones and the Beam connected to the network and each other, working perfectly. When I placed my remaining One it wouldn’t connect to the network or set up at all. I kept getting a message after going through set up that it needed registering but wouldn’t register. After a series of app updates, speaker updates, and forced factory resets it connected and played music. The issue is that this speaker only works independently of the system. I can’t connect this One to the system if it’s playing music or if I try to connect it by starting music with another speaker the app says unable to connect. Any ideas? 

I’m on IOS 17.5.1 and on the latest app Sonos has and every time I enter the correct room settings it automatically changes to and I quote “Sonos Room” within 24 hours.  it’s only connected to Apple Music and not on HomeKit but Google home which states it’s in my living room as per what I want it to be in.  I still have to change and it’s so frustrating please advise?

Hi,I have a pair of Sonos 5’s and other Sonos speakers and Home theatre set up. I mainly use my fives for listing to music. However, as many already know playing lossless audios through Apple Airplay isn’t possible with Sonos. Fiio have released the SR11 and i was wondering if this would actually work due to the Sonos Fives having a built in DAC? Would the internal DAC just down grade the Lossless input from the SR11 to lossy as its connecting to the Sonos 5’s via Airplay?  https://www.fiio.com/sr11

Hi,I’ve recently moved to a new property and I’m trying to set my Sonos Play:1 back up. When I plug the speaker directly into my hub by Ethernet cable, I am able to connect and play music. However, I am unable to find the product when I try to update the network settings. As soon as I unplug the speaker and move it rooms, it doesn’t work, as expected. Does anybody have a solution for this? I’ve tried using the Sonos 1 controller app but it keeps chucking me onto the newer app (S2 OS). Cheers!

I have lately been experiencing audio dropouts on my sonos system… my network seems to be ok but for some reason -when playing music from apple music- there are dropouts and suddenly music continues playing and suddenly stops and back again…I submitted diagnostic with # ********* thanks!! Moderator edit: Recorded and removed diagnostics number

Sl1s won’t work since installing latest version of Sonos app

hi everyone  new user here I had lots of problems setting this up in WiFi last week when purchased. It would only connect on Ethernet.finally got it connected and all good for several days. Now it will not show up in app again.i have tried the same procedure m, reset factory settings.it then says it is found, but does not show up in app.i am going around in circles again, any help would be very much appreciated. On ethernet it’s ok however I couldn’t place it where I want. How can I fix this wifi issue?
