I recently bought sub mini to improve music quality of my stereo play 5s so that it is a perfect 2.1 setup. but disappointed that sub hardly made a difference. Am i missing something or mini is not a good sub. Thanks for your help.

Such is the nature of sound, you will find that the positioning of the Sub can make a big difference. Try placing it in different spots around your room, just to hear the differences before deciding on a final placement.
Depending on the size of the room, the Sub Mini may be too small for the space. The Mini is a good sub.
