After an update in ~May 2024, now my Sonos Connect disconnects after a little over a minute of playing anything (approximately 1 minute and 15 seconds). It briefly disappears from the app, and then reappears a minute later with an empty playlist. I assume the device is crashing and rebooting. This happens if I try to play it independently as well as part of a group of other Sonos devices. I have tried factory resetting it, to no avail, still happens. I keep patiently hoping this is a known issue and a new update will fix it but I just applied the July 2024 update and it still happens. My Connect is sadly basically useless now. Thankfully, my Roam, Beam, and Five work fine; this just affects the Connect.

Finally searching for the problem I’m having and here it is. I’m guessing it is hardware support related to the updates or some new protocol/signal check.  Mine has worked well for years and now, it does what is described above.
