Himy iPhone can’t find and connect with my Sonos after getting a new router?

I have to keep increasing the volume everytime I turn the TV on. Is this normal? can Sonos be programmed to leave the volume at the same level when I last turned it off?

I have music stored on an sd card on my s20 fe 5g phone.A few of the artists/albums are shown in music on this device tab..but like10%..these are stored in the same way, on the sd card.How do I get sonos s2 app to see all the rest? 

I'm thinking of getting an Arc to use with my 55" TV in the living room pictured. Would it work well with my vaulted ceiling and lack of side wall to the left of the TV? (The whole room is approximately twice as long as shown, I'm standing roughly in the middle of the room when taking the photo).Would appreciate any input! TIA

Hi guys, Wondering if anyone can help me with this:My current set up is I have a sonos Beam and a seperate old stereo/vinyl record player set up.I’m looking to upgrade my record player however to a Sony PS-LX310BT, which comes with built in phono pre-amp and bluetooth connection. I understand that I may not be able to connect the record player to my SONOS Beam, but would really like to be able to incorporate it into the vinyl set up (as the old stereo/speakers currently connected are not great..). Does anyone know of the easiest/most cost effective way of eitherConnecting the sony record player directly to the Beam orBuying another SONOS product that the sony record player will be able to connect to and will allow me to play from the Beam also. (note. the record player has line-out aswell as bluetooth connection)I’d really appreciate anyones advice as this would take my current seperate (very basic) setups to the next level.  Thanks in advance!! 

HiI have recently bought an Amp and put together a setup with two front passive speakers and also recycled my existing two Ones as back surround speakers.I use an AppleTV 4K connected to the TV via HDMI, that provides all the content in this setup. My current TV is very old and does not support ARC, and I don't see much point in springing for the optical adapter. A new TV with ARC will come eventually, but its not a huge priority right now.I have been using Airplay 2 for a long time to drive the two Ones as a stereo pair for TV watching purposes, and have so far been happy with the results and usability (if only AppleTV could be permanently set to use Airplay 2, it would be perfect).I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that (to the best of my understanding) surround sound also works quite well, over Airplay 2, in this setup. This means I can clearly hear surround effects from all 4 sides of the room. The Apple TV is set to play PLCM and not change audio format.Is there a way to

I am currently building a house and in the basement I have ceiling speakers. I plan on using an Amp to power those, add a sub, SL One (2), and Arc. I currently have a beam and I want to add multiple SL One’s throughout the rest of the home.  Will it be possible to listed to music on the One’s while still operating the home theater in the basement without cross contamination?

Santa was extra good to us and we now have 2 new Move speakers to add to our current Sonos network. My question is can 2 different Move speakers, connected to the same network, play different music at the same time, i.e., my wife play rock on her Move in the kitchen while I play country on my Move out in the garage? How do we set that up? Is it as simple as just giving the speakers each a different name?

In the sonos app I can no longer find sonos playlists on my iPad, but see them fine on my phone.  I can add songs to them, but cannot see them, I can even add a new playlist but they are never displayed.  Were playlists moved somewhere or removed for some reason?  Again, show up on phone but not iPad.  

I use Alexa Amazon as a voice assistant. When I went in Alexa’s settings, I put my Google calendar in the section “Calendar and emails” and after that, I tried to put on the function to receive the sounds notifications of the calendar and then Alexa gave the message that no device was available despite the fact that my Sonos speaker was on and linked with Alexa. I called Amazon’s technicians and they said that this function is available only with their devices, Alexa’s Echo. Do you know if it would be possible to use that function, receive sounds notification from the calendar with another calendar that would come maybe from Alexa’s skills ? Sounds very much like the WiFi card is broken on my playblase, having read this forum. Anyone contactable from Sonos support, as your UK phone number is disconnected..

I'm a little confused over the sonos website and sales. First issue when ordered arc said was in stock then was given a date for one month after. So changed colour to one in stock. Also ordered the sub gen 3 in November given the date of 11 December. To wait to the day to call for confirmation to be told won't be untill end of January almost 2 months after my initial order and a month after the date I purchased the product knowingly. Well the question really is why not just explain these thing's on the website, as the main pretence is you will receive your product within 2 days which is deceiving even products in stock take a week to receive. Also if a product is not in stock why wait untill a customer calls asking why the date given when purchase and after has not been met infact giving a new date which is a month later than the stated date on the sale invoice. Tbf I think I would have rather brought a sound system from another company to get a complete set straight away rather than w

I’m reading up on the Sonos Port and I have a couple of questions. As I understand it the 12V Trigger just works as an on/off trigger for my amp.  Assuming my amp/receiver support 12V triggers it will bring it back on from a sleep/standby mode.   But it won’t change inputs, right? If that’s the case, is there any way to do this with a receiver?   Thanks in advance!  

I have two SL pairs. One in living room, one in office. Last week they stopped working as two sets of paired speakers. Only way I can get to produce sound is to unpair one set, that is paired in office and unpaired in living room. Doesn’t matter which I unpair I get same result.  I’ve reset to factory default and reinstalled. No change.  Ideas or solution appreciated. 

I’ve got 4 Play 1 speakers and a Playbase. The living room has the playbase and 2 Play 1’s paired for surround and the two other Play 1’s are in separate rooms. I’ve had them for about 4 years all working perfectly fine. The internet provider hasn’t changed. The router is the latest one from Virgin media and has always worked fine and does with my other devices.But for some reason my Sonos app keeps losing connection to the speakers. I’ve tried turning the router on and off, resetting it, turning all the speakers off, reinstalling the app etc.Still no luck! It’s very frustrating because it all worked perfectly fine up until the last week or so.

I have an Arc (with 2 play one’s as surround) paired with an Apple TV 4k via Airplay. As I am using a 4k projector (LG HU80ka via HDMI2 Arc port) I do not want to use a physical HDMI cable between the Arc and the Apple TV. I have the Apple TV HDMI connected to the projector (with the right HDMI 4k cable) Can I get Atmos using Airplay from the Apple TV 4k wirelessly to the Arc?The Sonos App does not display Arc is receiving Atmos and the Apple TV audio set up indicates that the system is just 5.1Thanks!

Would anyone recommend the arc mounted above the tv? 

I successfully (I thought) set up my Sonos Beam without too much trouble and it now works with both my iPad and Fire TV. But, I no longer have any access to basic cable service. I suspect this might have something to do with the fact that I had to disconnect my HDMI ARC cable from my cable TV box in order to plug it into the Beam. I would have assumed that this would be quite common and your set up would have allowed for it. Perhaps I am mistaken.  I would appreciate any assistance you might be able to provide on this matter.

During the initial setup of Sonos Beam I am getting error: "Your Beam has been added but may not appear in the System tab … ” After checking the admin panel of WiFi router, I can see that the Beam has never connected to router - it is not listed in DHCP nor in connected devices. I have tried restarting router and Sonos, resetting to factory settings, Reset App etc. Nothing helps. However I was able to setup the Beam succesfully with my friends router. It appears that Sonos does not like my router. It is Huawei HG8245H. Support diagnostic: 1238854072. Any other device (laptops, smartphones, TV, XBOX) connects to the router without any issues.

I am putting a Sony 77 OLED on the wall in my living room with a Sonos Arc. The TV will be above the fireplace. should I mount the Soundbar above the tv so that I can get the tv as low as possible? my ceilings are 12' high

HiI need to reset my LG CX soon for something, and I will need to connect my sonos arc back up, I have a question about the tv setup option via the sonos app, is important that I go through that to set it back up?I cant remember doing it last time I just connected it to tv and set it to hdmi arc.Thanks 

Has anyone experienced Sonos (Play 3) not responding to Echo Dot? Alexa seems to recognize speaker but speaker does not play. Any suggestions of how to fix this problem? Thanks!

After the recent update (2 days ago?, noticed problem yesterday) when I turn my TV on sound doesn't play through my beam. I have to go into my LG tvs menu and toggle the sound to "TV Speaker" then back to "External Speaker (Optical / HDMI Arc)". After that everything works fine until the next time I turn the TV on.

Ive bought three Sonos One speakers recently 2 black, 1 x white, two have worked perfectly (black) although the last one (white) wont conect via airplay (AIrplay “Unable to connect” to Den”,). Saying this all three work perfectly through the Sonos app.I have Factory reset offending speaker, rebooted IOS device,Rebooted router, changed name of the speaker,relocated the speaker.My thinking is the IOS airplay is at fault no so much the Wifi network or speaker.I have noted that the offending speaker has a hardware Version of 1.26.1.7-2.1 as the other speakers that are working have a hardware version of 1.26.1.7-2.2. I dont believe  the descrepencies with these versions woudl be at fault, as the three speakers were bought within the last 1 month. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. CheersIan
