Every so often, my Sonos is unable to connect to bluetooth on any device it was previously paired with. I’ve tried to forget the connection to the Sonos Move and re-pair, but when I hold the button on the back to enter pairing mode, it turns blinking blue without the chime noise and I’m unable to recognize it through any device. All other aspects of the device seem to be working properly except this one. The solution before has been to factory reset, but I would prefer to not reset my device every few months for this reason.

I’m absolutely at the end of my teather with this now. Nothing has changed on my system, both Alexa and the spotify app have no issues connecting to my system, yet the sonos app keeps failing to connect.My new roam arrived today, I opened the app and was met with “unable to connect to sonos - fix it”So I followed the instructions, this included moving a load of furniture to get to the plugs to powercycle the speakers. And then powercycling the router.It then connected, found the roam, and said it should be available in 5 minutes…..15 minutes passed, I opened the app and it guess what, “unable to connect to sonos - fix it”!I almost at that point of just returning the roam and swapping everything else out so a different set-up. How come Alexa and Spotify have no issues connecting to my speakers, yet the sonos app keeps failing!

I bought a Sonos Port specifically to go with a new Denon DP-300F turntable so I could play vinyl through my Play 1 speakers.  I’m taking advantage of the turntable’s built in pre-amp.  The sound is total garbage; tinny, weak and staticky.  I’ve changed the pre-amp setting on the turntable just to be sure I have it in the right position.  The other setting produces no sound at all through the Sonos system.  The speakers sound great playing music streaming services.  It is just the Port with the turntable that sounds terrible.  Any suggestions to improve this?

Why can I not see the playlists I have created on my PC on my Android phone?

I pre-ordered Roam weeks ago then was emailed about 10 days ago that my card failed. I spent hours on the phone firstly with Sonos and then with my bank and their fraud department and established nothing was wrong with my card whatsoever there is more than enough money available and was told by the Sonos agent there had been ‘complaints with your site’ indicating a know problem- therefore last Thursday after another session on the phone you cancelled my original pre-order, placed a new order, ran my card whilst I was on the phone - it was authorised - I had the confirming email, and today I have an new email saying my payment is not authorised again. Clearly you are having problems, clearly they are not resolving. I’ve been buying your products for years and therefore a repeat customer and find this situation unbelievable. I can see other similar complaints but that Sonos have chosen to ‘close comments’ to the community posts they don’t like. 

My new Sonos One SL drops off my controller, or stops functioning on the controller like as if it loses signal. It keeps playing with my Beam and Play 1 in the other room, but at times I can’t change the volume until it finds the system again on the app. Or like just now, I go to listen to music on the One SL and it’s not on the app, unlike my Beam or Play 1. They’re only in a room next to one another, and the room that the SL is in, does not have signal issues for any other devices like an Echo Dot, mobile phones, or laptops etc.All the devices are wireless. This is happening daily.

I have 2x Sonos Ones in a Stereo Pair in the kitchen, its only a small room so 3.5m x 3.5m and it sounds good but I am looking to expand the Sonos system to upstairs and I am thinking of moving the One’s upstairs and splitting them so I have one in the master bedroom and one in the guest bedroom to maximise sound.I have been reading online and it says the Stereo pairing is really designed for home theatre so presumably I would better off splitting the Ones separately and sticking one in each bedroom? Bedrooms are 3.5m x 5m each.Would probably look at getting a Sonos Move for the Kitchen which we can take into the garden if needed as kitchen music is not needed all that much. Thanks

Hello all,I’m converting most of my home away from Chromecast / Chromecast audio (too unstable), and I’m  not certain which (if any) components to keep from my existing HT / Surround system. Most of the time we listen to music in multi-channel stereo.The room in question is about 900 square feet (20’ wide x 45’ deep) with 20’ cathedral ceilings.Currently I have a 7.0 system including:Denon AVR-X2300W L/R: B&W CM-1 (vintage floorstanding speakers) Center: Definitive Mythos 3 Surround L/R and back L/R: Definitive BP2XMy plan is to convert to:Sonos Arc (L/C/R) Sonos AMP to power the definitive surrounds Use the sub out to feed a new external sub (thinking Hsu ULS-15 MK2 or SVS Micro 3000).  Alternatively, if I were to get rid of the Definitive surrounds I’d add Ikea symfonisk table lamps for L/R surround. This would obviate the need for the Sonos AMP, in which case I’d get a Sonos Sub.Questions:Does this seem like it will be a reasonably effective setup for the intended use, or am I l

Hi there,I noticed some tracks on a Sonos Playlist I created some years ago can’t be played anymore. The player would skip them and go directly to next track. I never encountered this issue before. I have my tracks on my personal server which is connected to my Wi-Fi router and my Connect system is also connected to this router. The playlist was created some years ago, before Sonos started to mess up with different controllers. My controller is now called S1. S2, apparently, is not compatible with my Connect. Though I have also a black Amp that would be compatible with S2  but I don’t want to use 2 different controllersOn the other end when I go to directly to my music library and play the tracks directly, outside the playlist, there are no issues.

Hi All, Two issues:I can see and control another resident’s SONOS system without logging in (turn on/off Alarms, Play music etc) but cannot add or remove devices. I cant create my own system or add my own device to the shared WIFI network and can only use the S2 app.I will attempt to explain this as simply as I can - and am seeking a solution.I recently acquired a SONOS Roam and primarily use a homepod based setup within the house. - a mobile Airplay Speaker? yes please!  Perfect for taking out on the back deck.... The problems:I live in an  Government Service residence (we are required to live here for work, and have to comply with the network requirements, and all share the same private network and are not able to introduce new networks into the building. I’ve had my Beam for about a year and up until a month or so ago, it was working well with Alexa. Now however, for seemingly no reason, Alexa does not respond. The activity light doesn’t activate and no response is given when asking Alexa to do something. The audio from the beam continues to work when using my TV as a source. Troubleshooting steps I have taken:I have followed the steps in the support page here twice. It works after following all the steps but after 24 hours, stops working again.  I have tried to remove all speakers in my setup and re-add them. Again, this works for a short while, maybe 2-3 days before it stops again.I purchased a new router a couple of months ago (ASUS RT-AX82U) and is the only thing I can think of that might be causing this apart from a potential hardware issue on the beam. Has anyone had any similar issues to these?Thanks,Haydn

HiI have a One and One SL set up as surrounds to my Beam which work great.  I want to keep this so that the One/SL kick in with the Beam as they do now when I turn on the TV.But I was wondering whether there is a way to have the One/SL work as a stereo pair (isolated from the Beam) when the TV is off so I can stream from my Android mobile for stereo sound, but then revert to surrounds automatically when the TV is turned on..I know I can do this by ungrouping the One/SL as surrounds and manually set them up as a stereo pair, then changing them back to surrounds when i want to watch TV but i was hoping there was a way to set this up automatically?  Is that what Ungroup on Autoplay would do?Cheers

My Sonos Beam keeps losing the connection from the app and from my Spotify list of devices.The Beam is still connected to WiFi as I am still able to use the Alexa voice control to play music from Spotify or Amazon.To find the Beam again I would have to keep switching off and on the router. The Beam would reconnect with the app again but then the next day would have disappeared again. Very frustrating. It was obvious that something was happening overnight for this to occur again and again.I have since switched off the option for the Beam to check for updates automatically overnight. Since I have done this, the problem of the Beam disappearing from the app and the Spotify list of devices has been solved.So although this solution works, I now have to manually check every now and again for updates. I was a big fan and as I have added to the devices it has become harder to install. The app and the Arc keep forgetting each other and have to go thru a list of questions that show me the Arc then it says not found. The iPhone app does not stay active when the screen times out. Have to log back on the iPhone to mute or unmute it is just easier to use the TV controller. The Arc can not be controlled by the Virgin controller. I will not be buying any more Sonos devices as the whole system has become cumbersome and slow and unreliable.Even registration for this forum asks questions which I answered but the username was not unique and I had to answer them again and then again because I did not acknowledge the terms. It seems unlikely that any of my choices would have changed I. The 5 seconds between attempts. Do they not test S2 and the registration process with real users.

Hi,Have been experimenting to try and understand/resolve the nature of this problem but not able to, so need some help if possible!Have 3 x Play:1s, recently noticed that only a single Play:1 was visible in Mobile App (S2 on Android, Samsung S21). However, I have found that all 3 are visible in Controller App on Windows 10.The speaker that was visible was connected to a BT Smart Disc Extender. If I ensure the mobile phone is connected to the Extender, it doesnt have any impact. If I disconnect the Extender, the speaker disappears completely and Sonos reports no active speakers. However, all 3 remain active in Sonos Controller App on Windows 10.If I connect one Speaker to the router directly via Ethernet, with the Extender still turned off, all speakers come up and are visible in both the Controller App and the S2 app on Mobile.If I then remove the Ethernet cable, the speakers remain connected and visible in both apps for a short period but eventually they all disappear from the Sonos S

I have a simple system using three Play:1 units and two Play:5 (gen2) devices.  I was using the Sonos S1 app on iOS, but after trying to resolve this issue I decided to see if the S2 app would resolve the issue.  Spoiler, it didn’t.The system has been up and running for several years without issue.  Yesterday none of the devices were showing up on the app interface.  I called Sonos support and they helped troubleshoot for about 2 hours, but ultimately laid blame with my ISP router.  They indicated that the problem appeared to be that my router was “converting multicast into unicast”.  So I reached out to my ISP (AT&T) for support and we proceeded to troubleshoot for 5 additional hours with only a tiny bit of success.I gave up and went to sleep and resumed troubleshooting on my own this morning.   I was able to get some of the devices connected to my account again, but one of the Play:5 units gave me trouble.  I reset all the devices back to factory settings and started over.  But t

Just signed up for Sonos Radio HD, but can’t for the life of me find the ‘Sleep’ stations with white/pink noise etc. Do they exist? I know they were mentioned in all the press releases when the HD subscription was launched in November, and a ‘Pink Noise’ channel image is shown at the bottom of the promo page.

Hello,I received the Roam sound system for 2 days and it no longer responds at all despite the on / off button pressed, the play / pause buttons pressed and not even the possibility of reinitializing. Only a white light is constantly on above the "micro" logo. Has anyone ever had this problem and was able to solve it?thank you !

I bought the new Sonos Move speaker right when it came out a few weeks ago and when I got it I set it up with my existing Sonos system but haven’t tried using it since until today. My Sonos app shows that the Move speaker is “offline” so I started troubleshooting the problem with some of the feedback I’ve seen on this forum and Sonos’ website but haven’t had any luck figuring out what is wrong with the speaker. When I took it off the charger I noticed that the light on the top is solid white and it’s like the speaker is completely frozen because it won’t do anything when you press or hold down any buttons. I have tried to factory reset the speaker using the directions found on this forum but the speaker doesn’t do anything at all (but that white light has stayed solid on the top of the speaker) Has anyone had similar issues with the Sonos Move speaker or have any feedback of what I can try next to get it working? I’ve never had an issue like this with any of my other Sonos speakers

I have a pair of ones (a one and a one sl) in my living room that I have paired in stereo which is great for music.Thinking of getting a beam so I can have surround sound for my TV too but wanted to know if I set my ones up as surrounds for film/TV, can I still use them as a stereo pair for music?Don't want to commit to buying and then find out they can only do one or the other!! 

Hi all,I have a Sonos Connect connected to a new Yamaha receiver (Yamaha TSR 700). I’m having trouble with the settings involved in getting the sound from music coming from Connect+Receiver to align with the sound coming from my other Sonos speakers throughoug the house.  We think the sound coming from the Play 5, Sonos One, Beam, and Move is ahead of the sound coming out of the Connect + Receiver. Very slightly, but with the more brassy tones it is pretty noticeable.  I solved this before with an old receiver, but every receiver is different. Hoping this community can help provide some tips on how to solve this. The Yamaha has Scene settings so I can save whatever settings end up working for whole-house listening.  thanks for the help! 

My Connect is hardwired into my router, yet is very flaky: it cuts out and takes a long time to start playing after other devices are going strong. It seems to work fine when ungrouped and playing on its own, but this is not a tenable solution.  I am happy to upgrade the device if its age is the problem.  My mesh WiFi is amazing. Is Sonos using its own WiFi network because the Connect is plugged into the router? My 10 Sonos devices are spread out over a considerable space (big house). Please help! Thanks…...

So I am moving from Arc(Sub) to a stereo setup with Amp and Sub.First of all would like to confirm... The Sub pairs with the Amp wirelessly as with a soundbar, through the app? How does crossover work? Does the Amp detect a 2.1 setup and adjusts a default crossover? If so is it adjustable (70Hz 100Hz etc). Much appreciated.
