Will SONOS Roam connect to Samsung Tablet - Galaxy

Hello everybody !I come from France, so I'm sorry if I do some mistakes with my english^^I have a playbar (+ 2 play 1 + sub) connected on my LG TV (OLED GX) and I use the spotify app on this TV to listen music (I also use my phone with WiFi, but it is very pleasant to have a big screen)But when the sound come from a TV, the Playbar set the sound in 5.1 as for a movie, and it is very worse than WiFi for music.Does anyone have a solution to have music setting on my playbar when I use Spotify on my TV ?The only solution I've found is using spotify on my PC connected on my TV.… Thank you everybody :)Rémi

Hello -I was thinking of buying a Sonos Arc (1x) and combining it with two Sonos One speakers (2x) (for rear surround - already own this pair) and also buying a Sonos Five (1x) as a center speaker (+ using it for dual use with my turntable). Do you think this setup would make sense? I understand that with the Arc and Five both being in the center (Arc right below my TV mounted on the wall + Five on the media console table below it) it might be redundant? Thanks a lot for reading and your help!

My home theatre room drops out intermittently (Playbar + Sub + 3s as surrounds), while playing music or radio, not while watching TV.  This has happened for the last couple of weeks. All other rooms are solid. This problem started after replacing to a new Sony TV, which is also at the same time has we got new neighbours in the house next to house. So not easy to figure out, I guess. I’ve unplugged speakers, changed WiFi channel and also the SonosNet channel, and the problem persist. Looking for other solutions. Diagnostic 124111491Thx

Hey Guys,After some help here. My wife is keen on me replacing my 2 Sonos One rear speakers with in ceiling speakers to make our Sonos Arc surround system more discrete.I wanted to find out whether it was possible using a Sonos Amp to have the 2 Sonance in ceiling speakers as Sonos Arc surrounds (Will the Sonos Amp with its speakers just add to the existing Sonos Arc + Sub system)?Also, can anyone assist with what the sound quality is like compared to Sonos Ones? If you have a Sonos Arc + Sub system, is it a reasonable expectation that the in ceiling speakers will sound as good when playing music and watching surround movies? Thanks in advance

Hello! Beam is not connecting with Sub and 2 surround's One SL. When I reset system and put 2 One Sl and Sub in another room it’s ok (2 One Sl stereo + sub) But then i’m trying to connect Beam + Sub or Beam + surround's One Sl there is problem with connecting, try one more and more, but it is not help. then It looks like Lounge Beam (+?) 

Hi guys,I have quite a few different Sonos products however there is an issue that I cannot seem to fix.I have an Arc set up in the living room that plays off the TV. I have a Move & Roam in different locations (Roam in the kitchen pretty close to the living room).When I want to group the Roam or Move with the Arc the Roam or Move tv's audio cuts in and out making it unlistenable.There is no issues with the network, everything plays fine when selecting any of the Sonos' individually and there are no issues when I select music to be grouped between the various Sonos products - seems to only be an issue when trying to cast TV audio.I also have a beam in the media room which has the exact same cutting in and out issue when I try and connect the Roam or Move with this beam.I have tried moving the Move and Roam in all different locations - right next to the Arc and Beam and also right next to my router, still no luck.I have also reset both the Move and Roam which did not fix the issue.A

I bought a Sony Bravia X90J today and configured it with my Soundbar + Sub, which was relatively easy. It works fantastic whilst the TV is on and the audio quality is great. The Soundbar connects to my Bravia via an optical cable.I also have a Play 1 in another room, so I often have the TV off and I will stream spotify through both Zones. Whenever the TV is off and I do so, the Soundbar+Sub zone audio intermittently drops out and I can’t figure out why.Software on all of the hardware items is up to date and I am certain the issue is to do with the optical cable as whenever I’ve taken it out and continued to stream music, it works. The issue also doesn’t happen whenever the TV is ON and I stream music through both zones, so it’s as if the TV is signalling something to the the Soundbar+Sub which interrupts the audio for a moment (as the other Zone continues playing the music whilst this happens).

If I have 2 Play 5 speakers, how do I know which is left and which is right?

With the introduction of Dolby Atmos to Apple Music, will the Sonos app begin supporting Dolby Atmos and Lossless audio? 

I’m planning on getting a pair of fives and pair them in horizontally (because that’s what works in my space).  My understanding is that they will both carry the left and right channel is this orientation. Is there a way to get them to be left and right discreet speakers while paired in horizontal orientation? 

Movies that uses mp4a.40.2 codecs (when looking att stats for nerds) shows up as Dolby Digital 2.0 on Sonos even though the movies are supposedly to be in 5.1 surround.Im not that savvy on the technical side but this cant be right, right? 

Hello. My question is about the possibility to connect the optical input of my Playbar to the hdmi arc output of my TV through the sonos adapter. it’s clear form thec spec that the adapter is to connect optical on tv to hdmi on new sonos products, but I would know if is possible the opposite (connect optical on sonos playbar to hdmi arc on tv). Thank’s a lot 

I got a roam as a present on my holidays but are not able to connect through bluetooth. Only a green flashing light and impossible to get it to turn blue to make the connection. I have many Sonos speakers and they all work perfectly, but I'm very disappointed that the Roam is not working. Is there any solution to get it to work, without being able to connect to wifi?Thanks

Hi!I’ve tried to get some answer on this question many times.Today I am listening on radio stations on my Play5 and music drops like every 5min.FYI. I started the day by rebooting the system.My Connect Amp and Play 5 is ethernet hardwired, so wifi interference should not be the problem.What can I do?Diagnostic is sent: 562884770./Lemmy

Hi,Got a few questions regarding a Sonos Roam that concerns me…Multiple networks? Set up a new network when visiting family, back home it didnt recognize our network anymore, a lot of time to solve that issue, as the app was showing the wrong instructions for getting it back.. (how to click the buttons when reconnecting) Bluetooth. I cant play through the SONOS app to the Roam when outside and lost the wifi? isnt that the thing? Cant start playing music when i’ve put it at charging.. had to remove the charger and start the music, then back on power source.. Always dead of some reason?BRErik

Hi.  I’m trying to troubleshoot why I’m not getting any bass out of (2) 3 month old Niles NI-GSBSUB-10 inground subs.  A new Crown CDi 2/600 amp is getting the input signal from the 2 different Sonos Amps I tried, as well as an older Niles amp I previously used.  At this point it really seems to be the actual subs, but I’m having a hard time believing that both subs went bad at the same exact time.  I’m very careful with volume and sub volume settings, so it would seem unlikely that the subs were blown.  Could this issue be related to a recent sonos app update? 

Hello! Trying to connect to Spotify on my Sonos app, but the service simply doesn’t show up on the list of music services. There’s no errors, etc; out of the services offered to connect to, Spotify isn’t one of them.I’m currently in South Korea, where Spotify launched its services fairly recently (as of this year or so?); perhaps that may have something to do with it?If this question has been answered already, apologies; the problems I have been having are little different than the previous postings that I’ve found and did not seem to address the issue.

I saw a similar thread about this but it’s closed and no solution was posted. I’m having issues with the line-in on my AMP (which is connected via RCA cables to a preamp, connected to a turntable). There is a constant buzzing sound whenever the line-in is connected that gets louder if I turn up the volume. Also, the music from the turntable is very faint (and not nearly as loud as the buzzing). I’ve tried adjusting the line level but the buzzing is there regardless of the level, and it's always a lot louder than the music. I've tried rebooting the Amp, and switching RCA cables, but nothing seems to work. The amp works for streaming and powering speakers, but there's something up with the line-in.I submitted a diagnostic: 2147038663.

@Sonos: Please refer to diagnostic 1741523771.I cannot add my Sub to the Beam. It has been added before, but now I needed to reconnect it.The sub shows up in the iOS app, and when asked if I want to connect the sub to an existing sepaaker I choose my Beam. Then it does it's thing, and terminates with an error telling “something went wrong”. I then did a factory reset on the Sub - same result, twice. The assigned room shows the Beam, and the ability to “remove Sub “.I can also see in my router, and the “About my Sonos” that the Sub has been assigned an IP, and those match both in the router and in the Sonos APP.Still no sound from my Sub, though ;-)

Hi, I have a SONOS beam, 2 One SL and sub 3 gen, and I have a very recurring problem, my sub is misconfigured and it costs me a lot to reconfigure it from the app.  I do not know what the problem is for which it is deconfigured and neither because it costs me so much to add it again I have a Google nest wifi.  could someone help me please

Hi,I’m new to Sonos.  We have an Arc soundbar connected to our TV (sounds great) and wanted to start playing our CDs and albums again. Thinking of getter the Sonos Amp amplifier. How do you connect both, turntable and CD player) to the Sonos Amp amplifier? Thanks!  

Does anyone know what the last 2 recent firmware updates to the Roam included? There is nothing on the Sonos website under release notes regarding these updates.Thanks in advance!

I’ve currently got a playbar, and planning to add additional speakers as I now have a bigger place. Was going to get 2 x Roams but have some questions hoping to get help with  🤞 Can they be configured to create surround sound set up with playbar? if so, can they also be used independently in another room if you take them mobile?  thanks for any help
