I have an LG Nano9091 75” with an arc. Lately when turning it on it blasts my Arc att full volume! If I turn off the tv and do it a second time it goes to 0volume. Not sure if LG did an update. But the issue still happens. Should I lean toward the LG or the arc for the issue?

If i upgrade my play 5 gen 2 do I have to throw it away / trade it on or will they now let you continue to use / sell it on. 

Hi, this is the simple problem.i’ve just configured a share over my QNAP NAS through SAMBA sharing protocol, the NAS is updated and SMB is at version 3.I’ve pointed a major share directory in which, on surface, is visibile the snapshot folder and it start with a @ symbol; the problem consist in the fact that all other folders in that share are NOT VISIBLE in the scanned library from SONOS app, phenomenon that never happened before activating snapshots (so with that virtual folder visible and accessible).if i point/map directly a subfolder inside the main share showing the @ dir i see everything about what’s inside, i suspect there is some king of problem this special chars … could you investigate?Thanks in advance

I am writing this question because I do not know if this setup would work. I would like to send the video signal from the Fire Stick TV (netflix content) to an HDMI to Optical Extrator and forward it to my projector (BenQ TH585) through the HDMI OUT. For the audio I would use the Optical Output from the extractor and connect it to my Sonos Beam. I would appreciate if someone could confirm if this setup would work.Thanks in advance! 

Hi I,ve had sonos for years always had the usual problems, buffering etc. I thoght I had sorted this with a Boost which worked great for a few months, but now every time I go to put it on I have connect again to wifi, always the same message, sonos not detected on your wifi. I do all the usual stuff reset app works fine then I leave for work come back try to put it on same message again sonos not found on you wifi. Any ideas. Thanks 

Hi All, Question for the forum about a 4.1 system with two amps powering passive architectural speakers (sonance). In our family room we will have this setup, with the two fronts (and phantom center) in wall around the TV. The rear surrounds will either be ceiling or in wall surrounds.  I know the rear AMP will be effectively a slave to the front AMP, but would it make any difference to hook up both ceiling and in-wall to the “slave” AMP? I expect it may muddy the surround, but haven’t seen anything on this. In short, would using 6 passive speakers in a 4.1 set-up (with 4 in the rear/surround) add anything or actually detract? many thanks. 

I got a new Sonos Move yesterday and I am having some issues with it. First, there was no green LED when powered on, so I needed to reset it first. Does that mean it was already used? It seems it was packaged ok. Battery was on 8% taken out of the box (checked over bluetooth). I managed to connect it to Sonos app, but the WIFI connection drops so frequently its unusable. I do have both 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz WIFI on the same SSID and dont have any issues with other connected devices (TV, laptops, phones...). Should I bring it back to the store?Thanks for help,Jaxak

My Play:3 that I’ve had since ages (I’ve had Sonos since they launched the ZP100) suddenly started skipping/slipping/repeating samples recently. It produces a kind of record scratching sound when it happens. I usually stream from YouTube Music. Anybody know why this happened and if/how I can rollback to working software? It’s beyond obnoxious.

So I just purchased a Sonos home theater system along with a Sony Bravia X90J TV - can anybody tell me if a true fix exists for the sound dropping from the system and reverting back to TV speakers??? I was not aware of this when I purchased the system. Very disappointed. I have spent hours and tried all the fixes that people claim to have worked. Can anybody give me answer to a problem that I cannot believe exists!!!..Please try again or create a topic

Alarm can not be snoozed, it just starts playing music. It starts playing at the right time, but when I check my phone there is no option to snooze or anything, it looks like it's just  playing music as normal. This problem has been since the last update. 

First off, I have tried to find the answer by searching this forum, so if I missed it, I apologize in advance.  I have a Sonos Move with Alexa and several music services.  When I use it on my home network, everything works as expected.  When I take this on the road and connect it to a WiFi hotspot (5G) i cannot launch music using Alexa.  A few points:  The hotspot has the same SSID as my home network so it just connects automatically. Alexa works “in general” , I can ask it questions and get responses. I can play music through the Sonos App.   I cannot start music by asking Alexa.  I cannot launch music through the Alexa app. The hotspot appears to provide good speed (3.86 Mbps according to speed test)Id prefer not to use Bluetooth as I get phone calls and don’t want to disrupt the music. I’d also prefer not to use the Sonos app as my wife finds it complicated.Am I doing something wrong?  Am I confusing it by using the same SSID?

Hi,I have an issue with my alram. My alarm is set up to turn itself on every morning on Sonos in my bedroom only and works as it should every morning. That is not the problem. The problem arises when my girlfried turns off the music on our downstair speaker (Beam) on her Sonos app before going to bed. The next morning, the alarm turns itself on in the bedroom as expected but the downstair speaker starts playing the music (Spotify) we were listening too last night. it plays the same song we were listening too the day before. Do you have any idea to stop this bug?

I’ve had my Sonos Arc for 2 months now and just this past week it started dropping the audio on apps like Netflix, Hulu and HBO Max in my Apple 4k TV. For example the audio will play and then after the ad in Hulu when it comes back to the show the audio is gone. I don’t know why this just started up. I have a new tv Samsung QLED to go along with the new Sonos Arc, I’ve tested another Apple TV 4k device and had the same issues. Steps i’ve tried -Factory reset of apple deviceSwapped devices, issue on bothChanged audio on Samsung TV to Pass-throughChanged HDMI-eArcMode from Auto to Off Unplugged and plugged everything back inOriginally thought this was an apple issue but since it’s happening on 2 devices seems to be a Sonos or Samsung issue.

I have an LG 43" 4k computer monitor that I'd like to use with my Sonos Beam and One's for surround sound using a FireStick 4K as the video input. However the LG monitor does NOT have ARC/CEC or optical output.I've tried using an HDMI splitter and confirmed that the audio/video is present on both outputs, but it doesn't work with the Beam. I get NO audio from the Beam.Is there a solution here, short of buying a 4k TV WITH ARC?Thanks!

I have a Note 10+ running on Android 11. I have recently noticed that when I play content from my Sonos app, that the controls do not appear when I view my notification panel on my phone  I have uninstalled and reinstalled Sonos. I have also restarted my phone. Still having this issue. I have notifications enabled as well.    

Why must i be forced to use an APPLE iphone to set up room surround sound or dolby atmos.Does Apple own sonos??It would have been nice to see a warning on the Costco site. Also if you have an android phone you will need at least Android version 8 or better. You don’t find this info until you start trouble shooting on the Sonos site. Very unhappy with the hype about how good this system is

I have been listening to BBC Radio Cornwall for years.  From yesterday it has suddenly stopped working and plays a rolling message saying that BBC Local Radio is unavailable due to 'contractual reasons' or a 'technical fault'.Does anyone have any knowledge about this and when/if it will be corrected please?BBC Radio 4, for example, works fine.

Hello! I wonder if it is possible to play Atmos music by Apple music on Sonos with all Atmos features? If yes, how to made that? 

I have been on here researching the issue and it seems that there’s no one thing to do except report the issue, then let Sonos read the diagnostics from your unit(s).  So, here we go… My Sonos controller keeps telling me that when I’m on SiriusXM and listening to music, about every other song seems to be encoded incorrectly.I’ve reset my wireless (orbi), restarted the Sonos units, plugged one in directly to the interwebs and I’m still getting the issue.  

Hi there,Earlier this week I could no longer connect to my Sonos system. I hadn’t changed anything but the app on my phone, table and desktop could not find the system. I then contacted Sonos using the auto assistant and followed all the steps but to no avail. They wanted to transfer me to a live agent but after a 30 min wait I gave up. I use the Sonos S1 app having some Gen 1 Play 5 speakers, one Play 3 and one Play 1. Plus a Connect Bridge (also S1). As mentioned I had not changed anything with my wifi or router but from one day to the next the system no longer worked. What can I do after having tried all these things (mainly re-booting and trying to set the system back to factory although I am not sure that was actually successful since the system is still not working). This is all very frustrating and I would be grateful for some help. Or is the only way to actually call Sonos support? I have tried to find a solution on the forum but could not. Many thanks in advance, Tim

When Sonos first notified me, a couple of years ago, that they would be bricking the Sonos Dock in a future update, I immediately took my entire Sonos system offline, and  re-connected it to a spare router that does not have internet access.   This has allowed me to continue using the following:Sonos Connect Amp Sonos Play 5 (2 stereo paired) Sonos Play 3 (2 stereo paired) Sonos Play 1 (2 stereo paired) Sonos Dock (I attached my internet connected Sonos app free iPhone - to access online streaming accounts )All of my other lossless music collection is accessible via the USB port of my spare router.I’m still using a Sonos 4.1 controller, and as long as I’ve remained isolated from a live internet connection (via the non-connected router), I’ve had no forced update issues.Does anyone who might be using a similar workaround know whether or not the S1 Sonos Controller for Windows still supports the Sonos dock?  Or was the ‘bricking’ update already built into that version of the controller?

Can I connect 8 roam speakers together via bluetooth or can it only be done via wifi

I have several sonos products and they come and go in the app. With the old router (apple extreme) it often didn’t show up at all. With the new router TP-link ax6000 it shows up but unable to connect. They are all stereo paired play 1(s). Newer speakers like move always work. We tried to re-add them (factory reset), give them static ips etc etc but no luck. So sick of how bud this works, invested alot of money in all these speakers and they hardly work. Running out of ideas.
