I’m having a continual problem with BBC Sounds that feels a lot like a bug. Every day, the BBC Sounds stops playing at some point. When this happens, the Sonos Play:5 refuses to play anything else. It won’t restart Sounds and it won’t play any other app. Only a power cycle gets it back. This is getting pretty old.I thought it was a probably a Wifi problem (I have UniFi APs and switches) so I plugged in the Ethernet and let it run hardwired. Same problem. Checked all the obvious but geeky network stuff (it’s not being blocked on STP) but I’m none the wiser. The Sonos network interface remains up (it’s pingable) but the controller looks like it’s locking up somehow.Anyone else seen this? Any thoughts? We just stream BBC Radio 4 so it’s not like it’s doing anything complicated with Sounds.

Sonos wake up alarm no longer plays radio station. Deleted alarm. Reset alarm. St to NPR. Still plays chimes!

sonos 5 hifi and songs 5 difference.Can I pair both .

Hi Alli have a Samsung Q9 (2019) connected via HDMI to my Beam 2.  This set up has worked previously and only recently stopped working.  I made no changes to the settings and the Samsung Q9 is on the latest firmware (version 1325).  Anynet+ is activated.  My Sonos app indicates that there is Sound transmitted to the Beam2 but no sound is heard despite repeated efforts to increase/decrease the volume. I have unplugged the Beam 2 and Samsung TV and removed and replaced the HDMI to no avail.     I have not taken the Samsung TV back to factory defaults yet.  Any suggestions ?

The Beam is connected to my HD Samsung smart TV and Sky box etc and of course with no jack the Sonos will not connect directly to headphones. Is there an adapter/conversion unit that will enable me to fit in and then make use of the headphones, please? I am not at all technical and in my 80’s so any thoughts will be much appreciated. I thought that I had seen a suitable converter?

Is it true that SONOS are going to stop supporting the colour black so therefore I will have to scrap my black Sonos equipment to purchase other colours? Hopefully the generous off of 30% off will apply 

My Play 1 has just died! Ive done the basics like swapping the power cable from another working Play 1 to see if it will boot, no avail, any ideas? Or any ideas where I might take it to get someone to look at it? I dont want to just buy another one!ThanksKaren

I have a SONOS Connect v2, working well on my S2 system.  Is it possible to select the line-in which I have connected to a turntable?  I do not see (or can’t find) the option to select ‘line-in’ on the iOS app. Thanks

My guess is no, but the Sonos support article is not clear.At https://support.sonos.com/s/article/3222?language=en_US, it says: “Trueplay tuning is supported by all Sonos products except Port, Connect, and Roam SL.”The article also specifically mentions Amp and Connect:Amp as specifically supporting TruePlay (under certain conditions).I kind of doubt the ZP80 and ZP100 have any magical TruePlay powers that their later iterations don't. The possibilities seem to be:ZP80 and ZP100 do not support TruePlay at all. ZP100 supports TruePlay in the same specific configurations that Amp and Connect:Amp do. ZP80, like Connect and Port, does not support TruePlay. ZP80 and ZP100 do, in fact, support TruePlay, without qualifications. (Seems very unlikely, but it’s what the language of the article implies.)(The article also does not make clear whether TruePlay is supported by both generations of Connect:Amp, or only Gen 2, another issue it would be nice to have clarity regarding.)Can anyone shed any

I’m having an issue where my new Sonos Move will connect to the network and will not show in the app. The bit that says offline disappears but so does the speaker. Restarting only fixes this issue some of the time. Any ideas?

If I charge my Roam directly with the USB cable it’s ok, but I’m using the wireless charger, there is just an orange blink and then the Roam does not increase the charge.Any ideas?Thank you

Hi, I have a play:5 in the kitchen, a IKEA Symphonic in the hallway and one in the bedroom.In the living room I have a surround system with a Arc and 2 One SL.When I play music, it seems like I cannot use the surround system speaker (arc + 2 One)..Is that by default, just as they show up in a group as TV?Really sad if I cannot use the One speakers when playing music..

Hello Community. I need some help with what is hopefully a basic situation, but has confounded me for the past few weeks despite multiple searches and deep contemplation. I’m seeking know-how for the best way to connect an Apple TV 4K, a Samsung Frame TV 2022, a Sonos Amp wired to two in-ceiling speakers, and wirelessly connected to a Sonos Sub. Currently the Apple TV is connected to the Samsung One Connect Box via HDMI. Do I now need to connect the One Connect Box to the Sonos Amp? And if so, with what type of cable? I purchased a Sonos Optical Audio to HDMI adapter - is that what I use to connect the Box to the Amp, and then tune some settings in the Apple TV and/or the Frame TV? Thank you in advance for the help with this fun project!

Our restaurant has two Sonos 5 in stereo mode with a Sub, and then 2 separate Sonos 1. We constantly have problems with speakers dropping out and dont know how to fix?We have a Sonos BOOST. We also use a Sonos Connect to connect a digital music player. Toggling these or the speakers on and off doesnt seem to help.  Maybe its a Wifi issue? But I checked and every speaker is on the Boost network. Its maddening! Any advice much appreciated  Diagnostic: 362934694

SORRY - FOUND MY WAY TO THE RIGHT BROWSE AREA. But still haven’t found a way to search.  I used to be able to search for radio stations on TuneIn in Sonos. Haven’t used it for a while; now, there is no search bar. There are only different categories to browse, but they do not have all the TuneIn stations. I have Franceinfo in my favorite radio stations, but it is not to be found in any of the browse sections. If I removed, I wouldn’t be able to get it back. What gives?   

On 6/15/22 between 7 and 10 pm I wasn’t able to connect to Napster either through browsing or showing any search results.  Tried unintalling and reinstalling with no impact.  All other music services seemed to be working fine. Apple almost always finds and appears in search results above Napster but occassionally Napster doesn’t appear to be working at all for a period of time.  This usually corrects itself.  This was rare that Napster wasn’t connecting for the entire evening which is why I tried the reinstallation.  Search of Napster & streaming on my phone was working fine during the same time period.  I actually thought that maybe Sonos had dropped Napster as a supported service but this doesn’t appear to be the case.

Hi there, I recently purchased a Sonos One for my girlfriend as she had a rubbish TV (without Bluetooth) and terrible sound. however, it is not working well as a solution as I have to connect the sonos to the Apple TV via BT, and it is not a permanent connection, meaning that I have to select it as the audio source on the Apple TV everytime and controlling the volume with the ATV remote only works once the airplay connection is established. how can I get a permanent/seemless experience without having to buy her a BT tv?

Hello everyone, so I have a question, we have Sonos amps setup around our house, and we recently got an Orbi mesh system to put throughout our house, and I’m wondering if there’s anyway I can setup the amps to work on the new network while still being able to do it via Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi, it’s currently setup to work via Ethernet but it only works when I’m connected to my main Wi-Fi, I was wondering if there way anyway i would be able to forward them or something, the Sonos amps are plugged into a switch and the switch is plugged into the main router 

So watching tv last night and all of sudden the my two one surrounds went out of sync with my arc/sub.  I’ve had my setup for a while now and have never had an issue.  I powered down everything and restarted my router and the problem seems to have gone away. Just hoping this doesn’t become a regular thing.  I’m reading a lot of people are having issues after the last 14.6 firmware.  My system is now on 14.8.1. Anyone else having a similar issue? 

I have a Tivo bolt, and LG TV, and the Sonos arc. In my old setup, I ran the HDMI cord from the bolt to the HDMI port 1 and then use an audio cord to run from the TV to my sound bar. How do you set it up with the arc? If I run the arc to HDMI port 2, it won't play the sound coming out of the tivo port. There doesn't appear to be a place for one of the optical audio cords…Thanks! 

I hook up the HDMI cable that came with my Sonos Arc from the soundbar to the eARC HDMI on the TV. my sound settings are set on the TV:sound output: HDMI eARC HDMI eARC Mode: AutoDigital Output Audio format: AutoDolby Atmos  Option: selectedand when I try to play Netflix content with the Dolby Atmos symbol (higher tier Netflix subscription) all I see is Dolby Multichannel PCM 5.1 on my Sonos appWhat am I missing? What else I can do? Thanks for all the help. 

hello.I cannot add google assistant on my sonos app.See below what I have tried:i can see all my 4 sonos linked to my Google home app in their respective rooms I have unliked them and then linked them back again  I have rebooted all 4 sonos speakers both my google assistant / home and sonos app are up to date they are on the same wifi network I am logged in one google account Spotify is my default music service on both google home and it is linked in the sonos app with my unique login details I still cannot add google assistant to my sonos app.Can you please help.Thanks

After the latest update, my Sonos system will not play the first 20 seconds of random songs in a playlist.  And, no, they are not Sonos-created playlists; they are well-played custom playlists that never had this problem before the update.  And it’s not a problem with the songs themselves.  I can go back and start them over and they play fine.  Also, it does this regardless of the cross-fade setting.I submitted diagnostics, #1574392379.Thank you

For a very long time now the Sonos playlists keep disappearing from the My Sonos page so I am unable to play them - when will this issue be fixed?
