cannot connect to new wifi

I have recently swapped from Virgin to BT broadband with a smart hub 2.

I can’t get my Play3 to connect to the new router.

I have read multiple threads on here and the firmware is up to date. I have tried disabling the 5ghz channel on the router but it makes no difference.

I get an error message each time.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Have you tried the steps in this support document?…

You seem to have jumped from the frying pan into the fire:

Virgin Super Hub 3 compatibility | Sonos

The BT Home Hub 3 is so terrible Sonos have a special article for it:

BT HomeHub 3 compatibility | Sonos

Good luck.

Can you not Bridge these janky UK ISP routers and use a decent one instead?

Hi @Rich F

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

If you are using an Android device, the following may apply to you:

We are aware of an issue preventing some Android controllers from completing the wireless setup. For now we recommend completing the wireless setup from an iOS controller or keeping at least one Sonos device wired as a workaround. A fix for this issue will be included in the 14.16 firmware that will be available later this year.

Version 14.16 is the next release and will be available soon.

I hope this helps.
