Samsung Terrace and Sonos Amp

I have a Samsung Terrace 55 inch with an eArc hdmi port. I have the Sonos amp with an HDMI input. I am unable to get these two things to work together. I have read issues about the eArc input and the Amp….but cannot seem to find a solution/answer. Any suggestions other than purchasing the dongle? Thanks!

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

The Sonos Amp does not support eARC, so my first piece of advice would be to disable eARC functionality in the TV’s settings.

If this doesn’t work, please try with the other HDMI devices temporarily disconnected from the TV - there may be a HDMI-CEC conflict at work.
