unable to connect to Sonos - lets fix it, - temporary error

I get the above message  on my system frequently, the issue almost always resolves itself within a minute or two, without further intervention.

 

it seems to occur more, if I haven’t used the controller for a few hours.

I suspect my iPhone is going to sleep and then reconnecting to Wifi and maybe needs a bit of time to sort itself out.

 

any suggestions?

 

running 2 play 1s and 2 play 3s on S2 software.

Hi

Is your home network a “mesh” meaning a main router with 2-3 nodes placed strategically for whole home coverage or is it just a standard single router?

Are any of your components wired to router or node?

Maybe see if changing some settings on your iPhone, as mentioned here in the link below, might sort the issue for you:

i have also set my router to use only 2.4ghz wifi for a while to see if this helps too
