It seems the way upgrade credit is applied has changed very recently  - now the credit only applies to one item in your basket - previously I was seeing a discount applied to all items in my basket.  I was considering buying an amp and a sub mini with my 30% credit but it now only applies to the most expensive item in the basket (e.g. just the amp).  Has this change been announced by Sonos anywhere?

Is anybody using multiple devices (e.g. Record Player and a CD Player) with their Sonos Amp?  It only has one input so how do you achieve this?  Surely as an audio company they understand their users will listen to music from different mediums.

Recently moved to Vietnam and when trying to add Alexa it says that it is not available in this country. Have used it in a bunch of different countries without issues. Any ideas? Need the app to allow location settings for Alexa to work, which may be an issue.

I have a Sonos arc attached by hdmi cable to a Samsung tv. I lower the volume on Sonos before turning off the tv and when I turn the tv back on the volume is significantly higher than when I turned it off.. any suggestions?

I have two Sonos Ones.  I recently replaced my wifi router but kept the same SSID and password.  Both Sonos Ones could not connect.  I connected one with an Ethernet cable and initialized it ok.  Then when I disconnect the Ethernet, it is not found.  I tried the second One and get the same behaviour: works on Ethernet but not wifi.Any suggestions?I’ve updated the Ones, and reinstalled the Android app. Thanks for any suggestions.

I’ve got a library with about 35k FLAC tracks (stereo 44.1/16 bit) and when pointing Sonos at the library, it appears to do all the right stuff, including asking me to enter my credentials since this library in my Mac, but not in the generic music folder. But it never indexes a single song.  And it doesn’t throw any errors.  Drive is connected directly to the Mac in question.  (System is all S2; checked for updates to controller and players, and there are none available.) What else can I check?

I have a client with 5 Ports, 1 Amp, 1 Roam, 2 Sound-bars all hard connected other then the Roam and 1 Sound-bar. They are also all on a static IP. The issue is they are constantly getting skipping audio with the Ports. There are also 5 network access points through out the house. My clients also only use Spotify through airplay but says it happens when through the app as well. We’ve sent multiple reports to Sonos and they say there is wireless interference. None of the APs are on the same channel though. Should that even matter if they are all hard connected? We go through the same steps of changing the channels and they say all is well. Then a few days later is starts again. Help would be greatly appreciated because Tech Support repeats the same steps or tells me to get a  bridge which doesn’t make sense to me.

Sonos S2 IoS Version 14.14Arc + Sub + Play3 + Play3 + Move + RoamI have added a google wifi mesh to my home network, to improve wifi coverage. It is a different wifi network to the primary router network.I want to move my Sonos system to the new google wifi mesh, instead of the primary router wifi network, so I can use Sonos from IoS while I am connected to the google wifi mesh.On iphone, I connect to the new google wifi, open Sonos app, and follow instructions to set up a new network. All looks good, it recognizes my iphone is on a different wifi, asks if I want to continue setup, connects to the Arc...and then proceeds with a process of “re”connecting the Arc to the primary router’s network (again), not the one my iphone is connected to. We then go through all the other devices, connecting them to the primary router’s network, not the new google wifi (that my iphone is still connected to).Been through this process 5 times now, restarting app, google wifi, etc., also tried a temporary

My Roam previously play radio music without an issue. Now, if I say ‘Alexa, play BBC radio 2’ it responds with ‘playing BBC radio 2’, then ‘BBC Sounds’. Previously it would then start playing music, but now I only get silence. It seems to affect any music station I try to play, eg Smooth FM. Alexa will still answer queries, so it is connected to the internet, and I can see it on my Sonos app. Any ideas for fixing this?

Error 701 showing up and not letting me select songs to play from spotify.  Can Sonos support help here? Support number: 1752685793

Hi, I’ve got a question regarding the Sonos port and how to connect it to my surround sound speaker system and receiver components.  But before that I should explain what I am trying to achieve inside and outside of my home. In my living/dinning rooms I intend to install a single One Sl speaker in each room which is an open area. In my family room I intend to install an ARC sound bar and two One Sl speakers as surround speakers to my 4K LG TV with an existing blue ray player. On lower level in my playroom I have an existing 5.1 surround sound speakers along with two Yamaha speakers on zone 2 connected to an out going 15 year old receiver. I also have a 4K Vizio TV , a Fluance phono and a 4K blue ray player I plan to purchase. I am planning to upgrade to the Onkyo sr 6100 receiver and add Atmos speakers.  I know I need to get a pre amp for the phono and a Sonos port for this system to work. This is where the question arises. I hope to play phono music inside and outside of my home at th

Hi there, I have a question here. My Sonos app on my Imac and on my Iphone is connecting to the wrong system. There is another system on the same WIFI network that I am on and my Sonos app on my Imac and on my Iphone is connecting sometimes to that other system instead of mine. Is there a way to block the connection to the other system? I understand that if my app doesn’t make the connection to my closer system after a few seconds for any reason, it starts to look for any systems on the network and connects to that other one. But I was looking for a way to block the other system completely so the app would continue to search for my system for a longer time if it’s needed. I already removed the other system in the preferences but it seems to put it back if it’s the only one available. Thanks in advance for your answerChristian

Why is it that when I sign in and try to buy a product it's listed in euro's and not in GBP

I have a holiday rental property with Sonos speakers, and I use a several iPhone SEs in guided access mode as controllers, sat permanently on charging docks.it seems if the iPhone battery is allowed to run down, or it is force restarted, then guided access is now turned off.Is there a way to ensure guided access stays active and guests cannot ‘fiddle’ ?

Hi did a search but couldn't find this topic. Very basic question but my app can't connect to either the amp or arc soundbar for setup. The green light is flashing on both. Tried while connected to my regular wifi and also wifi 2.4 GHz. The wifi signal is fine at the location. Eg my TV streams things fine here. Any suggestions or mistakes I'm making? Thanks!

I have a Sonos arc and sub and was wondering what the best placement for the rear Sonos one speakers should be. Position A, B, or C? Or maybe even another location? Do you want them directly behind you or more towards the sides? Should they be angled towards the seating position or pointed straight towards the screen? Also what is the best height to mount them? The couch is 15 feet long along the back so pretty large.

In a room on the smaller size, I have a Beam paired with two Fives as surrounds. Mostly use for music (probably 70-30 music to TV). Will the Sub Mini add any enhancement to this setup? Or do I have to go for the original Sub?Thanks.

Hi! I have the Beam gen 2, sub gen 3 and two Ones as surrounds. I much prefer the way music sounds when played in a 2.1 setup (ones + sub) rather than the whole 5.1 system. Is there a simple way to switch from 5.1 to 2.1 in the app within the room? I’ve seen topics on this matter from several years ago where the sonos forum staff replied that it would be forwarded to developers. I can’t be the only one that wants this functionality?

HiI have changed phones, moving from iPhone 12 to 13. Although the new phone is linked to my home Wi-Fi, the Sonos app says it is not and I can’t therefore access my Sonos system. Grateful for any help.

My Sonos amp suddenly lost all power. It is two years old. The same thing happened to my 1st generation also, which lasted a lot longer than two years. I am beginning to loose confidence in Sonos.
