I have a Play 5: Gen 1 and two Play 1’s. Just bought two Roams which are set up on the S2 app. S2 app doesn’t find any other speakers on system. S1 app finds the Play 5 fine but says the Play 1s are incompatible. When I attempt to “fix” the incompatibility the app says to download S1???The three speakers were working fine on the S1 app before I downloaded S2.      

I’ve had my sonos gear for about a year and had virtually zero problems with the app. Until the last week or two when I’ve had constant issues. System not found, music services not found. A reboot of the phone usually fixes it. Phone is a Galaxy s21. A couple of things changed around that time:I replaced my One rears with Fives and moved the Ones into a bedroom. I got a new wifi 6 router and mesh extender.Today I tried wiring one of the Ones in the bedroom to the router but that doesn’t seem to have improved things. Is this an issue with the latest update or something else? I really don’t want to remove and re-add things because I have a ton of difficulty getting a Trueplay tuning I like.

Purchased a Yamaha turntable and silly me thought it would be just plug and play. It’s a tts303b and I need it to connect to my Sonia Arc which is connected to my LG Tv. Any help please?

Greetings!Beam (Gen2) ist connect to Samsung TV UE75 HDMI Arc Port (HDMI2).Beam works nicely as streaming device for music.Here’s the issue: on the TV setup, the audio output device switches every few seconds from HDMI (Beam) to the internal TV speakers, back to HDMI, back to internal…For the few seconds, when the output device is HDMI, Beam works and sounds great.Any ideas?TV and Beam are on the latest software releases. Both have been rebootet. The HDMI cable in use is the one which came with the Beam system.Thanks a lot in advance and best regards!Joachim

My Sonos system has just started playing every song in Apple Music playlists twice before moving to the next song when I’m shuffle mode. I updated my system yesterday to version 14.8 (build 68329170), not sure if this is what caused the issue.

I am wondering if anyone has ever tried using both the in-wall and in-ceiling speakers for surround at the same time using an AMP. I am setting up a new room, and am looking into possible doing both to create a sort of rear surround bubble for my Arc + Sub. TruePlay supports those speakers so it could also do the tuning to adjust for having both.  I know we can’t do Atmos and that it would just be a 5.1.2 but curious to see how it would actually sound and work as a rear surround. Anyone ever try?

Help. I have a Sonos Roam - works brilliantly at home on home wifi, and I can Bluetooth my tv in my caravan.but I can’t get the roam to connect to my caravan WiFi - I have a tp link router in my caravan it would be preferable to use WiFi (connection, sync, quality)

HelloI’ve recently bought a QN800A Neo QLED 8K HDR as its got eARC I decided to upgrade my Play bar to a Arc.  Its’ linked up to two Sonos 1’s and sounds amazing when using the apps through the TV.  It sounds great when gaming too, last night I was looking at reviews and one guy was on about ready player one as a great test of the Arc’s capabilities so I stuck the Blu-ray in my Xbox series X and realised through the app that it was only playing in multichannel ppm 7.1.  Then realised that you have to download the Dolby atoms app and set it up that way.  Sounded amazing blah blah… Turned the xbox on today to have a blast on Halo and the sound drops out intermittently, while it’s on it sounds fantastic but keeps dropping out.  I’ve got it all set up asTV settings:HDMI-eARC Mode (Auto)Digital output Audio Format (Passthrough)Dolby Atmos Compatibility (On) Xbox settings Display 4K UHD 120 HzSpeaker Audio HDMi Dolby Atmos for home theatre. In my living room, I have a Sonos Arc with a Sub and 2 xPlay:1 for surround. Recently I’ve noticed that the system appears to loss the bass. The sub is still part of the Living Room when I look in the Sonos app. If I turn the Sub off in the Sub Audio option, then I can hear the bass increase as it’s now coming from the Arc.I’ve taken some diagnostics, hopefully someone can take a look and tell me if they can see an issue.Diagnostic: 2074324410When this happened yesterday, I had to remove the sub from the room and add it back in to fix it. Is there a quicker way to resolve it while I await a response from Sonos?

Is there any benefit at all in accessing Apple Music via the Sonos app, when I can stream directly to my Sonos Speaker from Apple Music?

I’ve been locked out of my Sonos device since trying unsuccessfully to update settings (change the room name associated with my speaker). The app advised an update required, I tried (again) unsuccessfully to install it. After some hours with Sonos Support and speaking with BT, my ISP I now await a swap out replacement.Question I was unable to get a satisfactory answer to was this. Does the Sonos device need port forwarding settings in place in the firewall menu? In the BT hub settings, it describes port forwarding as necessary for gaming controllers to access the internet. I am able to connect the Sonos locally with my iPad, the Sonos shows up in the BT Smart Hub 7 screen,  but it seems unable to connect to the internet and therefore my account.Please assume I’ve tried each and every fix for this issue. Thanks for any assistance.

I bought Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable a few months ago, It was working perfectly until recently when the speed switching button stopped working properly. Instead of changing speed, now that button will simply switch the turntable off. Its incredibly frustrating as I just bought a number of 45s. I have tried everything I can think of but Im pretty clueless on this. Can anyone help? 

Currently i have a sub, 2 play one’s and a playbar setup as my home cinema surround setWill it have any added value to replace the playbar with a ray…. Or would this be downgrading? Thanks upfront for your advice

Hi all,My setup: Beam (Gen 2 - updated to latest version) + LG OLED B7 - connection ARC.I have this soundbar for a couple days now and there are a couple of annoying issues which maybe you guys can help out, please?Issue 1: Volume goes up/down “too quickly” when using the TV remote - When I use the SONOS app, I can put the volume up or down 1 point at a time, this seems to be fine, but when I put the volume up or down using the TV remove then it seems like it goes up 2 or even 3 points at a time with a single press. EG: the volume is a bit low, then I press volume up just once and now it’s just a bit higher than I would like to. I actually had the opposite issue with my previous Bose soundbar 500 where I had to press the volume up 4 or 5 times for the volume to go up significantly.Issue 2: I’m now unable to use any Bluetooth headphones with the TV as it always defaults to the SONOS Beam! I select my Bluetooth headphones, the sound connects to the headphones for a couple of seconds and

So getting very frustrated with radio keep dropping out, this is on various Sonos devices and using TuneIn and Global player app. Uninstalled it all yesterday and guess what once back on within a minute radio dropped out.Any ideas please, using a Sonos booster and have good broadband along with a mesh system so at a loss Thanks

The Sonos App displays an album in the wrong order.  iTunes displays the album in the correct order.  I have deleted the album and reinstalled into iTunes library with the same results.  Help appreciated.

Morning all. Have a robust Sonos system that rarely presents a problem but I do have an ongoing problem with the Sonos app loosing the connection to the Sonos system when being used outside. Just to describe what we have ….. a number of devices on S2, all hard wired, all up to date and nearly all feeding in-ceiling speakers. There is also a small S1 system of 2-3 devices upstairs. Also hard wired. Also a Port feeding a large Pioneer AV amp to a 7.2 system outside speaker system …  Evid 6.2’s and B&W PV1 SW’s. Works really well. The wireless network is a Netgear Orbi system with 4 satellites. One in the kitchen and one hard wired in the shed to cover the garden.  The mobile is a Sony Xperia 1 III connected to wireless and signal seems very strong. But whilst it runs nicely 80% of the time, it then looses connection and no control of any devices is possible. I just received my Sub, and as many other people I got disconnects between the Sub and Playbase.Before calling Sonos Tech, I want to try some things myself, and the first option that I want to dive into my own 5Ghz network.As fas as I know,  the Sub and Playbase communicate via an ad-hoc 5ghz channel, and I want to be sure that that ad-hoc channel does not interfere with my own 5ghz network. Maybe its a useless thing to try, but at least I want to do it.How can I see or set the Frequency the PlayBase and Sub are using for talking to each other?

Apologies if this has been answered before, but many of the threads I’ve found are questions regarding third-party amps or speakers.  I recently purchased an Arc. I’d like to connect my turntable (Audio-Technica AT-LP60X, with built in pre-amp) via the Port. Will this “work” with a Sonos Sub in the same room?Just trying to listen to some LP’s. Thanks in advance for any help.

After the latest update. My roam stopped charging, battery drained and no way of turning it on to reboot. Besides trashing or replacing what are my options to get this to work? I've tried numerous high speed type c cables and watts. I've tried rebooting by holding down the power button for 12secs. When I plug in the roam the orange light activates for about 5-7 secs and nothing else happens.

I’ve got a new Synology NAS and trying to connect Sonos to the music folder on it. I’ve enabled SMBv1 and tried everything else that I’ve read in the Sonos community and Synology knowledge base. (I used a WD NAS for years with Sonos, BTW)I’m using a Mac and the path to the music folder is://NASsynology/Volume 1/for sonos(I’ve tried creating a separate folder just called “sonos” thinking maybe it doesn’t like the space in the name; also tried removing the “Volume 1” from the path and/or taking the space out and just calling it “volume1” which is how the name appears sometimes in Synology; also tried the IP address in place of the “NASsynology”...all with no luck) I’m getting an access denied error (telling me to check the ID/password) when using the Synology user-ID/password, as well as when I just skip the ID/password step and just leave it blank. Thanks for any help!
