Wondering if any suggestions for this new to me problem. Sonos Move is fully charged, white light, and connected to wifi. However when I press the bluetooth connection button the light flashes red for a number of seconds and then returns to white light. I do not seem to be able to connect to bluetooth. I have updated the Sonos software and rebooted it. Any other suggestions for resolution?

Hellohaving some issues with Sonos and Spotify today. Sometimes can’t see the system at all. Sometimes the Sonos app can’t connect to a local player, then it can and we can start music from Spotify but it later cuts out. It’s driving my daughter mad.  Play3 x2. Play1 in stereo pair Diagnostic 910843077

Okay… my Sonos Connect is wired to an amplifier (Acurus) and I have speakers (Vandersteens) connected to the amplifier. When I use line-in to listen to records the sound cuts out. Often, more out than in. Why the heck would it do that and how do I fix it? Since almost all of this is analog and all of it is wired, I don’t understand how this could be a wi-fi or SonosNet or router issue. I do also have several Sonos speakers in the house, all of them wireless, and this isn’t happening with those speakers. The Connect goes to my router via Ethernet cable. Help?thank you

Hi, I have a Sonos Connect:Amp connected to a pair of Sonos SP100 speakers, and I’d like to upgrade to a newer Sonos product, mainly for Airplay compatibility and general flexibility of use, and hopefully better sound quality of course. I use my sound system in the living room, which is roughly 20’x16’ (6mx5xm). I listen mostly to classical music; we also like to be able to use the sound system when watching films etc. Ideally I’m looking for a good overall sound from any point in the room, rather than one sweetspot… My hesitation is between these 3:Sonos Amp (connected to my old SP100 speakers) Sonos Five Sonos Era 300 Any recommendations? I have a PLAYBAR, SUB, and a pair of PLAY 3s.   I am unable to select those speakers from my phone, if I want to stream a podcast, for example (they work just fine otherwise).   I was told by SONOS that it is because they are older, and do not have Bluetooth, but if I ADDED a simple SONOS Bluetooth speaker to the system, that I at that point would be able to select the entire system to play, from a phone source like a Podcast. Does that seem correct, and would a ROAM speaker qualify for that?  It is Bluetooth capable. Thanks

Hello All,I have an Arc/One SL/Sub surround sound in my living room, a One SL in the dining room, and a Move in the kitchen to cover my main floor. When I try to group the speakers on that floor with the surround sound being the source (connected to a Vizio TV with the actual source being an Apple TV), the dining room plays fine, but the Move in the kitchen is glitchy if it plays at all. It does get better if i change the delay on the surround, but then the dining room, which was playing fine before, is obviously out of sync with the living room, and I can’t just blast the music if the delay is increased. I did some reading in the forum and it sounds like the Move just isn’t built to handle grouping well. I was wondering if there was any improvement with the Move 2? I like the Move in the kitchen because I can grab it and take it to the deck outside the kitchen, but I’m still limited to starting music directly to it. Anybody know if grouping is better on a Move 2?

Recently purchased Sonos One SL speaker. I keep losing Spotify. In fact despite constant unplugging, rebooting, factory reset, it’s probably getting worse. Last time didn’t finish 1 song, which brought me here. Sirius XM works fine. I just got a new modem provided by my ISP. Has wifi 6 capability. problem existed before the change. I have full wifi bars. Signal is definitely not an issue. Unless I get this resolved, I will be returning it. I own Bose, Monster, Sony, No Bounds, Google mini, no problem with any of these units. Not to mention numerous types of ear pods, also no issues. And based on the number of similar complaints everywhere I look online, I’m not the only person with a similar problem. Extremely frustrating!

Hi, I'm looking for a solution that allows me to send an analogue signal via an auxiliary to the Toslink port on the Ray sound bar. I have noted that the old ZP90 can uprate and send a digital signal from the optical output.my concern is the S1 and S2 apps and the compatibility of the 2 components, is anyone doing this already or any suggestions ?    thank you

Hi, I’m hoping someone can please help. I’m using iOS and the “gold” Sonos app.  I go into App Settings, and I don’t have toggles for “Hardware Volume Controls” or “Enable Lock Screen Controls”. The options aren’t even displaying. I’ve deleted and re-installed the app, reviewed every setting on my iPhone that I could think is related, disabled AirPlay and Handoff for every device in my network. Does anyone know what conditions need to be met to even get the option to enable hardware volume controls? My App Preferences page only displays “Appearance”, “Enable Search History”, and “Confirm Location” in the “General” section.  Thanks!

Could anyone tell me if you can stream Apple Music Dolby Atmos tracks through the Sonos app to a pair of Era 300s (stereo pair) when they are connected to the internet via the Sonos dongle and an ethernet connection?I have read that this is only possible when the Era 300 are connected via WiFi, which seemed odd to me, but I can’t find any documentation on this.

Listening to live-streamed radio , Sveriges Radio and more frequent recently the live broadcast jumps back in time. Is this a Sonos issue or a Sveriges Radio issue ?

My Sonos Beam is working for music and on the base Sony Bravia TV home page, but for some reason it won’t sync with Xfinity or Apple TV.  I can adjust sound on the Sonos app when I enter apps via my Sony home page (which never get used) or if I switch to play music. But whenever I try to watch normal TV (basic tv via xfinity cable) or switch the input to my Apple TV, I cannot get any sound.Any insights are greatly appreciated. 

Hello everyone, pre ordered a pair of Era 300 with wall mounts, I want to use them as rear speakers with Arc and Sub. Could you please help me? I’m not a native English speaker so please, understand me if I write something incorrect :)Most of the people have te sofa against the wall, in my case I can leave 50cm to 1m space from wall to the sofa, but I’m so scared to do something wrong. My room is quite big, my sofa height is 1.10m with headrest included. I was thinking to put the speakers above the armrests of the couch (wall mounts), a little over the ear level (this because of the headrest, I think it will “block” the sound somehow) so from 1.10m up, would that be a good thing to do? Over the speakers I’ve got a lot of space, it’s not a problem leaving 60cm above the speakers, same thing with the sides, I can leave 20cm at the sides of the speakers without problem. Then it comes the distance from wall to the couch, I can leave up to 1 meter of space. What would you do if you were me?

Since early this year the app has become slow, the last few weeks I usually have to wait for more than a minute for it to load the speakers, and in many cases it simply does not list them, or only one or two. Nothing has changed speakers-wise, not even WIFI-wise. If I use Spotify it finds the speakers almost instantly. I didn’t change app settings or system settings that would have an impact on the Sonos controller. Sigh. I also notice that while it’s finally playing, loading a different track often does not happen. The speakers don’t respond and Sonos just plays the ‘wait’ cursor, or tells me it cannot connect. Again: if I switch to Spotify it plays things immediately.I just don’t understand how things are sliding downhill so fast.Ever since February/March the cross-fading won’t work which is a big deal. Sonos S2 App on my Android has the wrong email address for me.  The steps to change the email require signing in first which clearly cannot be done since it is the wrong email.  On my PC my Sonos account is fine and has the correct email address.  In fact from my phone app I click reset password and it sends it to my correct email address! So how the heck do they have the wrong email for the log in? it is a vicious loop that gets me nowhere, so dissapointed

era 300 getting warm on the front! They are ok when not running. But when running their get warm. Is it something to worry about?

Why is Truplay still not supported on iPhones with ios17? It has been weeks now, and I am now actually on iOS 17.0.3……Sonos makes a big thing  about this feature yet they appear to not be in any rush to sort this!

Dear CommunityQuestion: Can someone explain the issue high-level or even low-level (technical)?Issue: I spent hours and several tries connecting my Playbar or Sub with my Google Pixel 8 Pro (Latest App SW, latest Android), granted any possible permission, reinstalled the App several times, emptied data and cache of the App. Switched my WiFi to dedicated 2.4Ghz. Hard reset the devices several times. Restarted the phone & App multiple times. Created a new Sonos account. Without any luck - faced several different error message like Error 1000 or the App seemed not to be up2date which it definitively was or the error message where Sonos is even recommending to use an Ethernet cable or even another device. Confusion/Surprise: Somewhere in the middle of all tries I could add my 2 Sonos One seamlessly without any efforts on the first try just like on iOS (even on my 5Ghz network). Expected: I installed the Sonos App on my iPhone 13 mini and it literally took me 1 minute to seamlessly conn

I have a Roam SL that is experiencing a strange issue. The speaker will start at a low volume and increase to whatever the setting is on the app(s). It will then decrease moments later. It almost feels like it is going quiet to “listen” but it’s an SL without a microphone. I notice in the Sonos app that the volume slider is not decreasing however the output from the speaker is. For example the volume is set for the middle at 55% and seems quiet, but then it gets louder. This is a new device for me and originally only had it connected to the Sonos network and did not have it automatically connected to Bluetooth. When I experienced this issue I took it off the Sonos network and connected it to Bluetooth. I have:Timed the occurrences of the volume reductions and not noticed that they occurred consistently. Changed the position of the device (standing on end, laying on its side etc) and not noticed anything.  “Forgot” the device and re-installed to the system
