While watching tv using my spectrum dvr box, both recorded and live shows, the sound goes away. It starts again after 1 to 3 seconds. If I rewind the show I’m watching the sound that was gone before is now there. Also, if I hold the volume up button the sound returns. I have not tried watching shows using only the tv speakers. It doesn’t happen frequently but it’s enough to be annoying. 

I had Plex working before, it some how stopped working. I tried to reauthorize it, the S2 app bounces me to Safari to authenticate, I log in, Plex tells me I can go back to the app, but when I go back Sonos app says “Plex wasn’t added”. How can I debug this issue?

I did a music library update on the Windows app and now the app on my Samsung Android phone crashes. I’ve tried reinstalling the app and restarting the phone but to no avail. I get a Samsung message telling me there is a bug in the app and to wait for an update before reinstalling. (My partner tells me that now the app crashes on his Huawei phone!)Has anyone any ideas as to how to get the app working again?Roger C.

My Sony tv unable to play any sound on the sonos Beam. I have tried changing the HDMI cable, made sure that its connected to ARC. But the new app is not letting me link to the Bravia SYNC I have now reset my whole sonos system consist of 2 sonos one SL, a sub mini and a beam. But the new app is not letting me Link my sonos devices to the app each system gives different error as attached”There was a problem adding your Beam to your system. Try again later.”“Your Sonos One SL has been added, but may not appear in the System tab. I love my Sonos speakers but hate the Apps.Sonos automatically upgraded my speakers to Sonos S2 app and I can no longer find access to the Alarm function on Sonos S2 app. Settings - Manage - ... I should have access to Alarm functions, but it is not visible.  Any help? THANKS!

Hey.Went on a holiday trip for 14days, came back today and now my beam wont start up.i always unplug my devices when going on a longer trip. I plugged in the power and nothing happend, after a hour or like the beam ia getting warmer (bottom). It seams to me its damage. anyone with ideas?  

I am curious if there is an easy way to use a Sonos Play 3 speaker as an external wired speaker to an older audio device, with no app or networking required….just a simple external speaker?  Thanks. 

has anyone found a way to control their sonos on a chromebook since the awful new app installed last week? I thought there was a web application. anyone have any positive news how Sonos are dealing with the incompabilities.Also so many of my favourite radio stations can no longer play on Tune In..  what a disasterSo disappointing

Hello experts! Advice?I have a move and a move2  and they work just GREAT together using airplay... Chose both and crank it up!! . I can even select my TVs and it will show the song and album art from Spotify.. im sure this is old news to you yall ...but Im thrilled! Having so much fun I'd like to buy one or two or three more speakers to fill in the rest of the house..What is a good older Sonos that I could find on FBmarketplace or eBay that would work  on airplay along with the current two Moves? Battery is optional.Thanks y'all! 

Looked at my Sonos on the 16 July 2024 and noticed an update for my system (Sonos OS: S2).Is it worth updating, as my previous experience was dismal and disappointing and we all know how that May update went.What has been peoples experience with the July update??

Can't use Sonos app to control my devices.  The new app update does not allow me to accept terms of use and to get past that page 

I have downloaded the latest Sonos app but I still can’t access my playlists off of my Windows 10 desktop computer.  I can access my music just fine, also located on said desktop.The Sonos website instructs me to go “from the Manage menu and select Music Library Settings.  I found something called, “Your System MANAGE”; I assume this is the right place. From here, the Sonos web instructions say to go to the section for “My music folders on Sonos,” select + (plus) on macOS, or Add if you are using Windows.”  Under the “Manage Menu” I don’t eveb have an option for Music Library Settings at all.  I have “About Your System, Alarms, Audio Compression, Date & Time, + 6 other items.”I have an iPhone 11 running the last iOS.How do I import my playlists folder from my PC which disappeared when Sonos released its latest app?Thanks. 

Got my ACE headphones today, they sound great but they’re not charging. Stuck at 53%. Tried different cables and power adapter that work with other devices. Feel like I’m doing something stupid. No orange or green lights to indicate charging status. Blue light comes on ok when connected via Bluetooth. Is there reboot / reset option of some description I could try??? Thanks

Hi. I like to play music over my Move in the Kitchen. The trouble is, if the TV is turned on in the living room, audio goes there as well (Arc and surrounds), making those watching a movie rather angry. How can I stream to the Move alone, without having to select and then apply a destination as the new app would have me doI could bluetooth straight from my phone to the move, but I don’t want that. I want to stream from the wifi.Any help is appreciated.

I tried the newish Sonos voice assistant and gave up on it. It was randomly hearing things from my tv and suddenly playing music. I tried using it when I got the Era 300. I already had Alexa set up. So I had both turned on for a bit. Turned off the Sonos voice assistant and at some point noticed that one of my speakers no longer worked with Alexa and the microphone would not turn on. When I go into settings to add Alexa it says it’s already added to that speaker. And yet when I go to the voice assistant settings, it only lists some of my other speakers. It shows I could remove Alexa from those but it does not show me the speaker that is malfunctioning. I have tried resetting the speaker. No luck. I also just now realized that while Alexa works fine on my bedroom pair, that pair is not listed in the Alexa settings in the Sonos app. It has Kitchen and Media Room but not the Bedroom pair or the malfunctioning Bathroom speaker. Hi.so.. I’ve been a long time customer of Sonos and have been very satisfied with both hardware and software. The speakers sounds great and the app (old one) was okej, not great but ok.But now.. What is going on really? Did you not test the app before releasing it? Where you in such a hurry that you did not care if it would hurt your trademark? Because it just did.I’ve followed all your guidelines to make the app work.Reinstalled hardware + updates too all products checked the router (even placed all my products next too the router) Reinstalled the app. Tried with ethernet cabel (Cat 6)Almost nothing works anymore. I have problems connecting too my system, my speakers and my connection with spotify and apple music. And I haven’t even mentioned how difficult the app is too navigate around. It’s totally messy..Did you use a cheap consulting agency? And I’m absolutely not alone complaining about this as you might have seen. When will Sonos either: retract this last release and restore to the last version that worked or Fix ALL the bugs and problems?I have never in the last 25 years seen such a complete mess rolled out to customers. This new app doesn’t work as well as the very first release Complete garbage.

Brand new roam and unable to add. Firstly the ping pairing doesn't work. Which seems odd. So used the code on the bottom. Fine. Connects to WiFi.App then says Added but may not appear on your system. Turn off, back on again and return to app.Return to complete setup. Sits for ages then says "There was a problem adding your Sonos Roam to your system"Tried a few times and same result.The app then tries to do a system update and apply to the Roam which crashes.I've sent diagnostics. I've spoken to an agent which ultimately got disconnected and a waste of time.I've done a factory reset and hit the same problem.Faulty Roam or..? Doing setup on Android. App has been updated.

good morning, Good morning, I have a Samsung neo QLED TV, with a Sonos Beam connected through the E arc port, however frequently when I turn the TV on the TV has reverted to TV speaker and it is not possible to play any sound through the Sonos beam despite going on the device connection which shows the Sonos background.  the only way to reconnect is to completely disconnect everything and reconnect, which is extremely frustrating as the beam is on the wall with all the cables hidden in the wall, which means taking the TV off when it happens.  any ideas? 

I held off moving from the S1 (old) app for as long as I could. I had a Connect, Bridge, Play 3, and 3x Play1s. I got an AMP to replace the Connect+Bridge and understood from my research on Sonos.com that the 2013 Play3 and 2017 Play1s would come across to the new (S2) Sonos app fine. Got the AMP, upgraded the app from S1 to S2, got the AMP connected. Then the trouble started. The Play1s and the Play3s would NOT move over to the new app. I’ve literally spent 6 hours doing the connect / upgrade cycle for the Play1s. The Play3 (for better or worse) fails faster - it won’t play the connect sounds, the app won’t recognize button pushes, so I can’t even get to the upgrade part of the cycle. Sonos chat has been not helpful, despite a chat of 2 hours. They told me to call Support. I called - 60+minute wait time.Sonos chat could not even have Sonos call me - said their systems aren’t connected. I am insanely frustrated at this point - anyone have any ideas of how I can get these older speakers

How do you reset a Move speaker? 

I’m unable to add Qobuz as a service to Sonos. It fails in the new app and desktop app. No error code just says unable to add.Anyone else having this issue or anyone able to add Qobuz to sonos recently?

Hi I am looking to buy the home theater package with era300 speakers and Arc. One thing that's important to me is being able to switch from home theater setup connected to TV and then listening to music in stereo via the app with just the two era300 speakers (via the Sonos app on phone) with ease.  Is this easily. Any responses greatly appreciated 👍

I have installed the new Sonos app and when I try to use the Sonos radio service I am asked to re-authorize the Sonos radio account to access the service. When I try to re-authorize the account, nothing happens except that I am asked again and again to re-authorize the account without being able to access the service. I have tried to log out of the Sonos account and reinstalled the Sonos app to no avail. Can anybody help me?
