If you were using the Play 1s as surrounds, why do you now need to add them again? If there was an issue resetting them should have been the last resort.
Are you able to hardwire your Playbar to your router/network? Give that a try for troubleshooting purposes.
Give Sonos support a call if that does not work and submit a diagnostics when they ask. They should be able to see if there is an issue with either your network or speakers.
Check webb app if all appear in there, a reset can make things worse
My play1s were a real problem to update

Been a long while since I messed with my Play 1s but I think I ended up wiring both to Ethernet to get the setup process to work. Once it finished they are happy wireless.
Many thanks all…..reset was needed as I was away for a while and my system was disconnected by kids….will try the ethernet route.
Hi @CamIan
Welcome to the Sonos Community!
Sorry to hear of the issue you’ve had with trying to add your Play:1s to your Playbar as surrounds.
If the above advice did not help, please try removing the Sub from the Playbar, add the Play:1 surrounds, and then add the Sub back on.
I hope this helps.
Thanks Corry, Stanley_4’s advice above worked, system now back up and running.
Hi @CamIan
Fantastic! Thanks for updating the thread!
