Hi all,More issues with my Arc Ultra that I find very odd considering I never had this issue with the original Arc.The issue: Whenever I stream TV content from the Arc Ultra to other speakers in my house, that audio breaks up pretty consistently on the grouped speakers. I thought this was specific to my Apple TV 4K audio, but when I tested using the built-in apps on my LG OLED C1 TV, the same issue happens.However, when I stream audio from the Sonos App or using Apple Airplay, everything sounds and works fine. Could this possibly be due to an issue with the Arc Ultra?

How to connect my Samsung QN75Q900 TV, Dish Hooper, and Arc Ultra/On the QN75Q900 TV box the eARC port is an “In” not an “Out” which I believe would allow me to connect to the ARC Ultra soundbar.  The Dish Hooper box only has HDMI which use as an output to connect to the QN75Q900 and there is an Optical (Digital Audio Out)

Hello community,Since the famous last update, I’m struggling with sudden stream interruptions. I’ve looked around on the web and found there is a command which shows and enables the user to select the region for the WiFi settings (see below). When I use this command on my speakers it shows that the region is set to USA (what a surprise …). I can select EU but a password is required; I tried the password for the system account without any success.http://aa.bb.cc.dd:1400/region.htm (region selection for Wi-Fi)I have a couple of questions:Why the WiFi region is not defined to EU in my case since we have to allow localization when you add new speakers? Does the selection of the region ultimately matter? Does anyone know the password to change the region?

I got the Sonos Line-In, USB-C to 3.5mm adapter. I wanted to use it as a normal adapter with my other audio equipment, as my phone lacks a 3.5mm port. Is it not supported (which would be kinda annoying), or is it a fault on my end?The Line-In would be used with an RCA (pluged in to the speaker) to AUX cable. Where it would act as a 3.5mm port, as I only have USB-C input to my phone.   Thanks 

I’m posting here out of sheer frustration with the current state of my Sonos system. Lately, every time I adjust the volume or change tracks via the Sonos app, there’s a noticeable delay – sometimes as long as 3-5 seconds! This might not sound like a huge issue on paper, but in practice, it makes the system feel completely unresponsive and, honestly, unusable.When I’m trying to enjoy music, a delay in volume control is a dealbreaker. Imagine turning the music down for a conversation, only to have it stay loud for several more seconds – it’s incredibly disruptive. And don’t get me started on the delays when changing songs. Dear all,I bought myself a sonos Ray to connect it to my Xgimi mogo 2 pro beamer. The beamer only has a HDMI output but i assumed i could use the sonos optical audio adapter to convert the HDMI signal to the optical port of the Sonos Ray. It doesn’t work. Could there be another solution for this problem? is there a way to convert the HDMI audio signal to optical so i can use the Ray? Thank you! 

I have an apartment of 300sqm and there are the following rooms:Living room with 5 speakers (zone 1-2)Kitchen with 2 speakers (zone 3)Master bedroom+bathroom with 2+1 speakers (zone 4)Bedroom with 2 speakers (zone 5) TV room with 2 speakers (zone 6) The wires of all speakers are ending in one place in the living room. I’m considering on getting 4-6 Sonos Amp devices in order to have 4-6 zones.I use Spotify, Apple music and other streaming services.My mobile devices are iPhone, iPad etc.Am I able to use Spotify in zones 1-2-3 and Apple Music in zones 4-5?Is it easy for my family members (teenagers and adults) to make basic adjustments and selections in apps, volumes, zones etc? Could you provide me with some screenshots of the Sonos App to see the software environment?I’m new to Sonos, i asked a retailer in my region but he didn’t satisfy all my questions.What is your opinion?Should I get only Sonos Amp devices or I could use some Sonos Port devices to combine them? Thanks in advance

Hi all , I have a One SL and the power lead is about a foot too short to reach the plug socket !! Is it possible to cut the power cable and put a piece of twin core cable in ??? Long story short I had new flooring put down, I asked the fitter to make sure I could get the cable out but they put the cable under the door frame so I can't get the cable from under it because it's blocked by the flooring, luckily cable isn't trapped , think I've read that ​@Airgetlam has done this ? Might be wrong though ? Thanks 

My setup is as Follow . Sonos Arc , Sub 3 , 2 x era 300, ace and roam.tomorrow I Will Get arc Ultra . Must I Rest all Boxes or only the arc . Paaring Button and power cable and then is reset ?can I take the Same power cable from arc and use for arc Ultra ?  Many thanks 

The recent update on 2/19/25 took the low end bass from my gen 4 subs anyone else having this problem is anyone have a fix having no luck contacting Sonos

Songs in a Spotify library sometimes have different volume levels. Can Sonos somehow correct this difference in volume levels while playing a list ? 

I have tried everything to alter the outcome of the skips and/or audio drop outs but to no avail. I have changed the tv, the hdmi cables, checked connections, resets, etc. This Beam Gen 2 has this random issue where it drops the sound for a fraction of a second, like a skipping record, and then won’t do it again for random intervals. Sometimes it does it every 5-10 minutes and other times it won’t do it for an hour or 2. It’s so random, so obnoxious.The skips happen at random times that aren’t pushing the system or what have you. The volume level makes no difference nor does the material being watched have any effect. It doesn’t ever seem to do it with music streaming that I can think of so that was useful in the process of elimination. But that’s about it as far as narrowing it down. As I said, I didn’t just change out the hdmi cables (which I did 5 times now, I even went out and bought some “special” ones because I was told by a sound guy that was the issue). I tried to do a reset both by consulting on the Internet and with the help of support from Sonos.Nothing.It keeps flashing white. I also tried connecting to the modem but even then the reset doesn't work.Do you have any other solutions?Thank you very much for your help 

I have an LG G4 OLED TV paired with a Sonos Arc soundbar, which needs to be controlled through a Crestron Home system. The soundbar is connected to the TV via HDMI 1 eARC port. The TV alone, without the soundbar, is controlled by Crestron Home without any issues. However, when I connect the soundbar, the only audio function that works through Crestron is Mute, and there is no volume control. As a result, the client, despite having an automation system, has to use the TV remote to adjust the volume. All firmware on both the Sonos and the TV is up to date, and I have also tried changing the HDMI cables. I would appreciate any ideas or if anyone has had a similar experience.

My sonos phone app is not seeing or connecting to the any of my 8 sonos speakers.  How do I get the app to talk to the speakers?  

I am writing an arduino IDE Esp8266 sketch to monitor the play status of a Sonos speaker and trigger an outlet. With SOAP responses, I can easily monitor the avTransport service using the getTransportInfo to get the currentTransportState.  But, if the speaker is grouped, that output is always “playing.” My idea is to identify the group coordinator IP and then use that device’s currentTransportState when the speaker is grouped. My issue is that when I group the speaker, the ZoneGroup Coordinator is defaulting to the same device every time… even when that device is not a part of the playing group. I assume it must have the lowest or first UUID, or something.  is there another way that I can monitor the play/pause status of a grouped speaker that is not the coordinator?  I know I’m missing something.  specs:I am using the S1 app with a variety of zp90, zp120, and play3. It’s an older system.  all thoughts and suggestions are appreciated. Thank you. 

I have a Beam Gen 2 speaker with a sub-mini and I am thinking of adding two speakers for a surround sound experience when watching movies. I have a modest sized Lounge and the current set-up gives good sound quality. Any thoughts on the best additional speakers to purchase? Thanks and happy Listening.

good morning, I have a collection of 210 tracks on the YouTube music account that I play on the sonos account. For a few days now, if I try to play it on Sonos, it loads me with 33,800 tracks from the same collection. How can I solve the problem? Thank you

I’ve logged into my account, navigated to Upgrade and selected 2 items that are eligible for the upgrade offer of 15%. However when trying to add anything to my cart, it tells me there is a problem.I logout from my account and I can add any item I wish to my account, but I lose the 15% upgrade offer and I can’t see of a way to remove the items. So at the moment under my account I can’t purchase anything.

Recently added to Playbar and Sub 2 Era 100 speakers however since the Playbar will not create surround, I ordered a Beam Gen 2. Question - Will Sub Gen 1 work with the Beam 2, Era 100 to create the Surround? I know how the apps now work, but hoping when the Beam 2 arrives, it will all finally work. Thankls

Hi, I had an issue with my Sonos ERA 100, the device is 9 months old, so Sonos agreed to replace - I was sent a RMA / postage label, and sent item off to Poland. The item arrived at Poland warehouse 9 days ago as per the UPS tracking, but I haven’t received any email from Sonos to advise item has arrived or when a replacement device will be sent out. I have phoned Sonos support to request an update but am just told to wait a few days longer - but it’s been nearly 3 weeks since this process started so really missing my Sonos. Is this experience normal, and how long do people typically wait from faulty item being delivered to Poland warehouse to when a replacement device was received? Thank you in advance.

Will you ever fix the poor Ui of the new app?  It’s still way to many steps to select a room and click forward click back to get to a room and it’s very inelegant.  Also, Will you ever add back alpha indexing to music library. Scrolling through 1,000 artists continues to frustrate me. I’m waiting for the app to be fully fixed before I consider buying any additional equipment. It’s been so long

I have a problem with my hearing.   I have some problems with deep (bass) voices merging into one.  The right ear is worse but I can usually hear what I need.  My main problem is that certain letters sound different ie S sounds like F etc .  I hear my tv ( 1 year old top spec) but due to the letter issues I sometimes loose the plot.   All this is not severe so most people would not know.I’m hoping a sound bar and perhaps speakers will help.  I have been looking at the Sonos Beam and Arc sound bars.  Perhaps a speaker might also help but as low tones merge I’m assuming the the bass speaker would not help /improve  my experience.Can anyone help with suggestions or a personal experience.

I have no idea what the techs at Sonos have done to the software over last few years, but they have basically ruined a great system.when I try any basic control on Sonos these days, I am now pleasantly surprised if it works……but mostly it doesn’t.i am literally one step away from ditching the whole (10 unit) system for an old school hifi that I know will work.
