two subs worse than one

Hi! Anyone else have a problem with two subs on the same system playing worse than one sub?

I have the arc soundbar and a sub gen 3 and sub gen 4. When I connect both subs to the same area they play worse than just one. Sounds like they cancel each other out. Any tips on how to fix this?

Switch the phase on one or both of the Subs.  If that doesn’t work, try moving the Subs around in the room.
