Hey!

any ideas why my Sonos roam

defaults to a volume of 15% rather than just remembering the last volume I used?

thanks!

Hi @Ged3000, welcome to the Sonos Community!

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with your Sonos Roam. This sounds like a similar issue that the Sonos Amp has where volume will clamp to 15% when a fault occurs, however it does this to protect any speakers connected to it, so I’m not sure if this is possible on the Roam or is even the issue that’s occurring.

I would recommend submitting a diagnostics before the issue occurs (while you’re still using it or before you stop using it) and another when you next use it at the volume has changed to 15%, then contacting our support team. They have the necessary tools available to look into the diagnostics and can see why the volume is changing.

I hope this helps!
