How do I turn off the ads in the Sonos app?  This can’t be done from the app?  It’s supposed to be possible on the website, but I’ve followed some of the instructions I found in other threads and apparently the website has changed and the instructions don’t apply.  Thanks for making this unnecessarily difficult.  Nothing says We Have No respect For Our Customers like “bravely” releasing a terrible app, then using it to serve unwanted ads to people who have already paid hundreds or thousands of dollars for your products.  Complete failure to read the room, Sonos.

Hi I want to use the SONOS Connect to connect my conventional HIFI set to the SONOS environment.However upon putting a cable in the Connect box the SONOS system starts to make a "buzzing" sound ( like one used to have when a record player was not grounded correctly)The buzz is not always there nor is the volume not constantThe buzzing can be reproduced by actually touching the end of the cable that is connected to the Connect.I tried another cable with the same result. buzzing as well. What can be the cause of this annoying buzz, and how to overcome it? when actually connecting my HIFI set to the Connect the buzz is clearly audible when playing records  BR Bas 

All of a sudden, Alexa has stopped working in India. I thought may be it’s an issue with my system. I did a full reset of my Sonos Arc and Sonos Roam and added Alexa voice assistant. While the basic functionality of Alexa is working (asking time, weather etc), it just won’t play any music. Here is a response I am getting when I ask Sonos Roam - Alexa, play some music.response: sorry to do that first enable the skill for your Sonos roam in the Alexa app, then ask me to discover devices. (Similar case with Sonos Arc)in Alexa app, there is no SONOS skill listed to enable. (See the screenshot included below) I have been using Sonos for the past three years. Didn’t have to go through this process of enabling skill while setting up Alexa back when I installed Sonos for the first time.  if worked like a charm right after enabling it from the Sonos app (I didn’t even have to install Alexa on my phone, let alone enabling the skill).  I don’t know if this is just for me or something is seriously

Okay I'm just letting everybody know I just got off the official Sonos website and Sonos will not hook up to Roku even through the string bars HDMI arc so they're telling me I almost paid $700 for a Sonos subwoofer I'm glad I didn't

Hi. I set up two Sonos Era 300 in stereo mode. The sound is very strange, the bass sometimes appears, sometimes disappears. The sound is not pleasing. The sound itself is sometimes louder, sometimes quieter. Did they mess up the firmware again? Even Sonos Beam 2 gives more bass.

I recently added a Google Nest WiFi Pro mesh system to my house.   Immediately after doing so the Sonos app on my Apple MacBook Air (2022 model) started saying:“Your computer’s firewall setting has changed.   Your Sonos controller can no longer connect to your Sonos system.”The thing is, my phone app still works just fine.   I can play music on multiple speakers all over the house just like normal.  So it doesn’t seem to be an issue with the mesh network - rather something with the MacBook app vs. the iPhone app.   Any ideas for a fix?   It sure is nice to flip through songs from my laptop while working vs. reaching in my pocket for the phone every time. Thanks!

Green light is on the Beam. It plays music through Alexa/ phone app, but does not play the tv audio. The tv settings do not show it being there even though it is plugged in to ARC socket. I don’t like the sound of the tv and desperately want the beam back on

Brand new sonos system. Arc ultra three hundreds as rear along with sub four. Set up the arc ultra through the latest sonos app. Added the 2 three hundreds and sub 4 for surround. No sound coming from the rears or sub. App says connected??

Hi everyone, I bought a house with a Sonos soundbar (arc), TV (Samsung), and an amp (Sonos)wired to 2 Klipsh speakers in the ceiling.  The seller left in a rush and gave no information about the system. The arc works OK, but the amp won’t get recognized by my router for some reason so no sound is coming out of the ceiling speakers. Any tips?

Help! My Iphone16 Pro can’t seem find and control our Sonos Play:1 speakers. Weirdly it did work for about 10 minutes before it then dropped out and disconnected.Iphone 16 ProiOS 18.1Router: BT Home Hub 5 Checks I’ve done:I can access and control the system via the Web Browser app. I have installed and reinstalled the iPhone Sonos app I have checked that the iPhone Sonos app is up to date I have instructed app to ‘forget current system’ and then reconnect to system The Sonos software is up to date I was sat right next to the wifi router and the sonos speaker whilst undertaking these checks and installations My husband can still control the speakersIssuesI can successfully connect to the system App also has successfully reconnected to streaming services But the Sonos App won’t list and display speakers. I received a Move 2 as a gift back in December. I was able to get it set up and connected to the SONOS app and also had no issues with bluetooth connectivity. I normally just connect the Move 2 through Apple Music or other family members connect to it through bluetooth. I recently went into the app to play music and my Move 2 was no longer shown in the app. I troubleshooted and tried to reconnect but nothing worked. Based on guidance for the app, I reset my Move 2 following the instructions (I had previously rebooted the Move 2 prior to reseting). Nothing has worked to get the app to recognize my Move 2. After multiple efforts, and after reading about all of the issues with the SONOS app, I just tried to turn on bluetooth and play music from my iPhone. Now Move 2 won't connect to my phone. I also pressed the bluetooth button on the back of the Move 2, but it no longer chimes when it's in bluetooth mode. Now nothing seems to be working on the Move 2.

Can I connect two components (a record player and a CD player) each with their own RC cables to one 3.5mm adapter? The 3.5mm adapter would have two pairs of RC ports on one side and one 3.5 out on the other side. Does such an adapter exist? I have the Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable that I can connect to a pair of Era 300 speakers set up as a stereo pair using the 3.5mm Line-in port and their adapter and it works. I have a vintage Magnavox CDB 473 CD player that I can also connect to the same Era 300 speaker in the same way and it works. I want to leave them both connected to the same speaker so I can play from either one without disconnecting one and connecting the other. What do I need to do that?

I have configureren a brand new Arc Ultra and 2 Era 300 as independent speakers, which works as a charm. As soon as I configure the Era speakers as surround speaker on the Arc, the 2 speakers are added to the same room and dissappear from the confguration, and dont produce any sound.  Any idea What could be wrong ? thanks Guy

I have a Sonos Roam SL...Is it okay to leave it plugged in and charging for 99% of the time (even when playing) or will this degrade the battery over time? Or should I occasionally use it on battery power to prevent “memory effect”?  

No lights No sound no network 

I’ve been gifted two Sonos speakers, I don’t know which type they are and I’m unable to set them up. They need to be set up with the Ethernet cables and I can see one of them available on the Sonos app but it keeps saying to log out and back in all the time. As soon as I unplug the Ethernet cable the speaker stops working. Does it need to be connected to use? Thanks. 

I am renting a villa with a Sonos system and cannot get the subwoofer to work.  When I try to add the sub in the app it asks me to sign is as an owner, which I not.  Is there any way to add the sub without being an owner of the system.  I don’t have the villa owners account login info.

Hi allUpdated iOS app this morning to 80.16.32 and we can no longer group speakers, getting a little need to update banner.When trying to update it just spins and eventually get an error page, but with no error codeFollowing steps to unplug Ethernet, reboot router, reboot switch, unplug and plug in again all speakers, uninstall app, reinstall app, restart phones etc all do nothing at all.Anyone else have this and any suggestions on how to resolve please?UK support isn’t open over weekend so kinda stuck.Cheers 

I had my Era connected with no problem to my system. with no change to anything, the system dropped (not connected) my Eras 100 and I had to disconnect from the power and reconnect. It worked for a about 15 minutes but then it disconnected again. Now it wont connect after Eras hard reset, network reset, and attempt to reconnect. Sonos app does not have a remove speaker option (blows me away that such a basic function is not available).I believe the software has glitched and the Eras is “stuck” and it wont allow me to reinstall it. Its the BedroomMy system: iphone 

I'm getting a new, intermittent but frequent bug where I get the Something Went Wrong error when trying to play an album from local library. The remedy seems to be to hit play on the first song on the album, rather than the play button on the album page itself. Doesn't seem to be an issue when streaming via Deezer though. 

Hi all , is there a way of checking if all my speakers are connected via Sonos Net in the app ?? My beam gen 2 is connected via ethernet, can't seem to see in the app if it says connected via Sonos Net, thanks 

I currently use one Sonos ERA 100 to play CDS from my HIFI CD player through the Line In adaptor.My question is….can I use two Era 100’s, one from CD player left channel and one from the right channel that will give me a truer stereo effect ?I’m unsure about the ‘’pairing’’ effect ?Thanks all.

New to the product line and trying to get a basic understanding. Here’s what I’d like: a system with a small central amp, left and right passive speakers for stereo music and a center channel for TV (in combination with the L/R). I don’t need a sub. The Amp product has two wired outputs (L/R) so my first question is how would I include the center channel speaker using the Amp?
