I have a simple setup, 2 Sonos Ones as a stereo pair in my home office. I frequently have issues with the system not being found, or one speaker dropping out, meaning a frustrating time resetting, rebooting and trying to reconnect. Today, the app can’t find a Sonos system - I’ve added each speaker several times without any issue being reported in setup (speakers chime and seemingly connect). I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled. I can press play on the speaker itself and it plays the last thing I was listening to. Nothing has changed on the home network, wifi strength is good, everything else has remained connected without problem.I really want to like my Sonos system, but these repeated connectivity issues are just ridiculous. I shouldn’t have to regularly spend hours trying to identify where the problem is and set up the system up again.

https://www.sonos.com/en-us/blog/5-1-vs-7-1-surround-soundThe article above says that pairing Sonos Beam 2 + Era 100 + Sub allows for 7.1.4 expansion. My question is, is the Sub absolutely necessary? Is it possible to configure it as 7.0.4 without the Sub?

Used to be so great. Getting ready to throw this junk in the Ocean after I spent thousands on it. I just want to know why it sucks so bad now.

It has been confirmed that when using two Sonos Ones as rear speakers with Sonos Arc, they operate as 5.1. When playing the following 7.1.4 test tone, the sound of Ls and Lrs is simulated exactly the same, which proves that the Sonos Arc + Sonos One surround pair operates as 5.1.https://music.apple.com/kr/album/sequence-pink-noise-7-1-4/1748110988?i=1748110990&lsBut I found one article : https://www.sonos.com/en-us/blog/5-1-vs-7-1-surround-soundThis article says that if you pair a Sonos Arc with a pair of Sonos Era 100s, it will work as 7.1.So my question is... if you pair Sonos Era 100 with your Sonos Arc, in a 7.1.4 test tone, can you feel the difference between Ls and Lrs?https://music.apple.com/kr/album/sequence-pink-noise-7-1-4/1748110988?i=1748110990&ls

I create Apple playlists on my computer, going to the Apple service in Sonos on the computer they don’t show up. Also on my phone they don’t show up. If I create the playlist from my phone in Apple Music they will sometimes show up. I’ve long given up on using the Sonos library on my computer.

Hi guys I have the Beam Gen 2, Sub Mini and 2 Sonos Era 300 as my surround system. I added a turntable lined to Era 100.  Tv autoplay is set up as Ungroup on Autoplay so the Era 100 connected to the turntable will not be included when I use the tv.  Now i noticed that when I stopped using the tv and play the turntable with the Era 100 lined in, it doesn’t automatically connect again to that group (surround system+era100).  Any tips would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,I am trying to use my roam 2 Sonos as external speaker to my Windows PC, however, I cannot connect to my sonos device as it is not showing up on my bluetooth. I am able to connect my roam 2 to my Macbook AIR and use it as external speaker and it works to my Iphone as well. How can I fix this issue to my Windows PC?

I updated my SONOS to Build 82259204 Yesterday.  Now, I can’t access SONOS due to issues with firewall configuration.  I have checked and SONOS is set to allow all incoming traffic. Any ideas on what the issue may be?  Running on Sequoia 15.2.

Hello! Is the Sub 4 supposed to show more details where the red circle is? I had a sub mini before that showed the details of the device, but for some reason it’s not showing with the sub 4. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi all.As with other posts of this nature, I am also experiencing issues with different volume levels of the Era 300 surrounds after Trueplay tuning.I have an Arc Ultra with 2 x Era 300’s and a Sub Gen 4. All of which sound excellent - especially with Trueplay enabled.However….I have tried all of the usual techniques to try and mitigate this volume issue - but so far, the situation has not improved. It’s always the left side of the acoustic that’s always louder.I am using the latest software and hardware firmware (as of 14/03/25).To be clear, the sound levels of the surrounds are fine without Trueplay enabled or configured.I have also tried swapping the rear speakers around and re-configuring (to see if it’s a hardware issue) but still the same result keeps occurring. So with this in mind, I have the following questions:is it possible to send Sonos techs diagnostics of before and after Trueplay calibration to see if there is an issue here? after Trueplay is enabled, it is impossible to

Hi,I bought two move 2s with the idea to have them as a stereo pair when watching movies, and two individual speakers that can be moved around the house when listening to music. Never having owned Sonos speakers before, I had read about the groups in the app and assumed that I could just assign them to two different groups, one as stereo pair and one as individual speakers (e.g. room 1: “stereo”, room 2: “mobile”).But now that they're stereo paired, I can't see them individually anymore in the groups section. Is this type of use not possible, or am I missing a step? And if it's not possible yet, can we please make it so? I think it would be a very useful feature. Thanks in advance for helping :)

Hello, it’s me.  Sonos, not Sinis :-( I have an IoT network, my secure network routes to the IoT network but firewall rules prevent access from IoT network to secure net other than established or related.  Can I put Sonos on my IoT network and connect and use it from my secure network?  I was pretty sure I did that yesterday, moved Sonos to the IoT network from secure as I finally got firewall rules working the way I want and all seemed well, but today I went to add a new Sonos device and it said Sonos was on secure network.  So, I seem to remember Sonos didn’t like being on a connected routed segment?  Is that right or no?tanks.

So I have a strange one. I have added my remote control to my playbar by doing the remote control setup.it learns my remote volume and mute buttons successfully. In fact it successfully recognises my remote just by pressing volume up.Once setup is complete when I press volume up, it doesn’t work. No indicator light, nothing. Even through it successfully just learned the remote. Weirdly, volume down works fine.I have even used other random remotes and taught it random buttons for vol up, vol down and mute. And it accepts and learns them fine. But again, when I actually press the exact volume up button after successful completion it doesn’t work. Any ideas?

I've noticed that the 'PPreviousand next Song' button on Sonos Ace isn't working. It doesn't respond when I try to use it. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and are there any solutions or workarounds? Thanks in advance for your help!"

Hi,All my music is stored in a NAS share (OurMusic). I manage this with Windows Media Player (WMP). SONOS has access to it via \\NAS01\OurMusic.Over the years I have created numerous playlists in WMP, some of which are still active, many have been deleted.  SONOS retains the name of every playlist I have ever created in its Imported Playlists list even those that have been deleted from WMP.  Qu.1 Why?In Windows Explorer, This PC > Network locations I can see x.x.x.167 Sonos Play:1; x.x.x.185 Sonos Play:1; x.x.x.220 Sonos Playbar. When I browse these locations I see e.g. Sonos Play:1>Attributes>Playlists, that contains a Folder for each and every playlist I have ever created in WMP. But every folder is empty!  Qu.2 Can I delete the extinct playlists from each of the 3 locations (speakers)?Qu.3 How do I get SONOS’s Imported playlists list to agree with the current playlist list in WMP?Sorry for rabbiting on, would very much like to hear any comments. Thanks for reading.

Hello, I enter the Sonos page and, although they say that from May 2, when I try to pay with PayPal it tells me that PayPal cannot be used if there is a lack of stock. This seems incongruous. I am quite disappointed because I was determined to take advantage of 30% to renew my playbar and play1 for the Arc ultra system and it was 300, but I find it impossible to buy it. When will there be stocks of era 300 in Spain? Greetings.

I have just gotten a Sonos, and I am trying to add the content services now. I added Spotify successfully but DR lyd is failing repeatedly. I have entered my location in Denmark so it should be possible, but every time i try to connect to it gives me message saying “something failed, try again” without much explanation as to why.I have tried reinstalling both the Sonos ans DR lyd app, changing my DR lyd password, but nothing has worked so far. Any ideas?

I have been trying for some time now different hdmi cables (including the stock cable that came with arc ultra), system options in horizon ultra proyector and sonos app, I own an arc ultra and sub4. So far this xgimi projector model is supposed to support Atmos in its eArc output but no luck yet. Is there anyone in community who could confirm my suspicion or possibly share some feedback on how to make this setup deliver Atmos? Thanks a lot.

Wth this app keep asking me to sign in all the time, can not use any services at all, worst app ever

I use a Roam 2 stereo pair over Bluetooth as bedroom TV speakers. Works fine, *except*: if you pause the TV, then (a little later) unpause, it takes about 5-8 seconds before it plays an audio - before that: silence. It also does this when turning the TV on, but that's less annoying. Is there any way of disabling whatever sleep mode this is?

I am following directions on how to connect my era to my bar on the tv and it’s not connecting. My Bluetooth is on   I have this issue often

Where can I go get  refund on my sonos products Melbourne AustraliaI have had enough

I would like to find out regarding Sonos Ace, how many Sonos Ace headphones can be added at the same to the system while watching a movie if more than one person wants to enjoy a movie in stealth mode ..?
