I have an outstanding B&W Sub.  Could I use Arc Ultra and synchronize it for home theater?  Or could I use a Connect with Sub-Out to the powered sub I already own?  If not, has anyone placed a Sub3 or Sub4 in an enclosed box under a TV?  I want to build the sub into the wall cause my wife insists it will not be in the room...

I can use the speakers from the computer app just fine, but the iPhone app keeps flashing continuously between the library and Your System screen so it is unusable.The iPhone app shows the right song being played, so it is connecting to the speakers, but it can't be used because the screen keeps flipping back and forth so the clicks go to random buttons.Speakers are updated, iPhone and computer apps are updated (iPhone version is 80.14.09)

I’ve heard that when using a mesh WiFi system, issues can arise, and a common suggestion is to plug one of the older devices into your router via Ethernet to fix them. I’m curious about the explanation behind this. Why does this solve connectivity issues?For context, my Sonos app has been acting weird lately. I can see all my devices in the app, and I can even adjust the volume on my Playbar, but I can’t actually launch any music or use other features on other sonos devices even though they appear in the app. I was also unable to update a newly purchased Era 100. I am new to Sonos speaker use.I am having trouble getting my Win 11 PC music file to transfer to the Sonos music library. It seems to be showing but will not play. The message appearing when attempting to play a song choice pops up “It does not exist”First level tech attempt to trouble shoot for 1.5 hrs. today until I asked to be escalated, so now I wait for a email to schedule a time to book the next level tech.Any dumbed down level suggestions? Has anyone else experienced the same issue?JT

If you install the ERA300s in a upside down position near the ceiling, do you have to change specific settings, or do you just need to run Trueplay? 

I have a TCL 55c745k TV and just purchased a beam 2. I am unable to get the soundbar to output to Atmos with Disney plus or 4k blu rays? My Xbox series x shows that without the soundbar, it can process Atmos, but with It plugged into the EARC with HDMI 2.1  cable, it says I can't output it anymore.  Please can someone help me with this, otherwise I may just sell it and find another way to output atmos

i recently bought a Sonos arc ultra with a sub gen 4. i hooked it up to my Sony a80L tv, went through setup. when i play Dolby Atmos content regardless from what source whether its MAX, Disney, ETC the audio will cut out for a split second (very fast but annoying) every 3-5 seconds. i have gone through my tv settings and made sure eArc is on auto, audio is set to passthrough, etc. nothing seems to fix the problem. the issue does not happen with non dolby content.

Can someone please explain how room control is supposed to work? What I’m experiencing appears problematic.The setup:Two rooms: A and B. If it matters -- room A contains a One SL; room B contains two Fives in a stereo pair.Two people: Person A in room A, person B in room B. Each person is using the latest Sonos app on an iPhone.The problem:Person A is streaming a radio station in Room A, from that station’s web site, using AirPlay on the person’s iPhone.Person B wants to stream a SiriusXM station in Room B. SiriusXM is accessible via the Sonos app on person B’s iPhone.Person B clicks the Rooms icon on his Sonos app and sees both rooms. Room A is checked and indicates streaming. Room B is unchecked; no streaming shown. What does he need to do start streaming something in Room B without affecting what’s happening in Room A? If he checks Room B (so that both rooms are checked), his streaming choice starts playing in both rooms. If he unchecks room A and checks Room B, his streaming choice

I was able to log back in to my account in the ios app and my Sirius account is connected and playing but there is no sound.  Tried local to play local music from my library, also no sound.  Suggestions?

I have the Arc Ultra/Sub 4 and Era 300 I have just removed the Era 300s from surround sound as it is so bad I can’t bear to listen to it any more. I think it is something like a synchronisation issue but the sound is horrendous. Anyone experienced this?

Hello,  I HAVE THE FOLLOWING SYSTEM: A SONUS ONE, A PLAY3 AND A PLAY 1. WHAT I  WOULD LIKE TO DO IS A COMPLETE RESET BY REMOVING ALL THE ITEMS AND REINSTALLING  THEM. THIS IS BECAUSE I SEEM TO HAVE MADE MISTAKES SOMEWHERE AND THE ONE IS ON ALEXA AND THE OTHERS PLAY MUSIC. I WANT THEM  ALL TO BE THE SAME.PLEASE KEEP THE  REPLY BASIC AS I’M NOT AN EXPERT!

Does anyone know if you have music playing thru one of the approved soundbars from the Sonos app, say Pandora, Apple Music, etc. can you swap that music to the Sonos Ace headphones? Or is it only the device that is physically connected with the HDMI or Optical that gets swaped.I want to use them in my workshop for when I need ear protection but want to continue to listen to the audio stream whether it be the TV or a music stream started from the Sonos App. I’ll buy a Beam and attach it to the TV if this works. I could play Pandora, etc. thru the TV with Roku and make it work, but if I want to have the game on the TV and listen to music this doesn’t work for me. Plus I will have a Play 3 grouped as well as a Port or Amp.If they would allow APP Audio Swapping with the Port or an Amp, I wouldn’t need the Beam, just saying. 

Hey everyone,Today I ran into a strange issue with my Sonos setup. The Sonos app would open (iOS) and show my system, and I could control the volume on my soundbar for instance. However, it wouldn’t show any of my recently played items, music accounts, or let me add my new Era 100 to the system—it kept failing during the update process.I tried everything I could think of:Restarting my Wi-Fi (I use an Orbi 770 mesh system - I know these sometimes appear to cause issues). Restarting my phone. Restarting my Sonos devices (a lot of them). Switching Wi-Fi on and off again.Nothing worked! After almost an hour of frustration, I thought of plugging an Ethernet cable into my old Playbar which first didn't resolve the issue. Installed 2 Era 100 in one room separately. How do I now pair them?

I have 2 era300, a port hooked up to a large audio system and 1 beam on a TV in a large single room(10,000SqF). I am tired of yelling "ALEXA" across the room to my fire TV cube(Alexa). Can the era300 and the beam all listen and communicate to the cube?

My ERA100 does not play music via computer even though both my wifi system and the sonos app says its connected and signal is strong.  When I first set it up, everything worked perfectly for a couple of weeks. Now, if I am streaming from my desktop (e.g., iTunes via airplay), the sonos app thinks it is playing (i.e., it shows the song, the album art, and time stamp moves along as normal) but nothing comes out from speaker.  However, I can stream via Airplay from my iPhone and music plays normally.  At one point, I could play from computer via Bluetooth (but not airplay) as well but that seems to have gone now too.  I have gone through complete factory resets, deleted everything and set it up as if it was completely new, rebooted router, etc.  No change.  I called Sonos support, spent literally hours on the phone with a tech, reset, rebooted, reconnected everything once again, submitted diagnostics, and no help/no change.   Appreciate any ideas or advice.  Thanks!

I have just bought a Sonos beam gen 2 which I’ve added in to my home set up paired with an OLED LG C2 tv and a Roku 4k steaming stick.I have the beam connected by the arc port on the LG and then the Roku stick by an additional HDMI port.i can get Dolby atmos and Dolby 5.1 fine on the LG’s native  apps but only get stereo PCM for the same content on the Roku.  have tweaked all the relevant settings on the LG  ie pass through etc as well as custom digital output to Dolby digital on the Roku stick.I had read that the Roku stick was capable of Dolby Atmos so I’m presuming there must be some setting on the LG which I’m missing. It’s not a deal breaker having no Dolby atmos on the Roku as I can get it on the native apps but would be better if I could.

On the old Sonos app I could download music from IDAGIO to Sonos playlists but cannot find how to do it on the new Sonos app. Can it be done and, if so, how?

Anyone know of a way to change the sonos pre-defined music categories?  For instance, SONOS categorizes some of my “Bluegrass” music as “Contemporary Country.”  Seems to me, there should be a way to go into the Sonos music listing and change the category of a given CD etc.    Any Comments?   

Still cannot build the local music library. When I play Spotify from my Sony tv the volume on my ERA300 surrounds is very low but if I play via Bluetooth the surround volume is fine, any fixes for this? Thanks

Hi @Corry P, I am running 80.11.33 on Android and I'd like to report this bug:Going to Sonos Favorites and tapping on one of the Recently Added items works fine.But, if you go to Sonos Favorites / Recently Added - View All, then tapping on items does nothing.

Hello-I have been using the ARC on my family room TV and love it. Just upgraded my TV in the basement and purchased the beam to go with it. Is it possible to have the ARC and BEAM  Gen 2 on the same household system so that i don’t have to switch systems everytime i want to utilize a speaker on the Sonos App?It seems that i can only connect Sonos One or Woofers/Subs to an existing sound bar on one system. In order to add another sound bar (on a different TV), i need to add it to a new system.Any ideas? Thank you
