hi there,I am unable to use voice command to request Move 2 to play music via Alexa.I am an Amazon Prime subscriber and I have Amazon music app setup on my iPhone. I also have connected Amazon Prime service to my Sonos app. I am only able to use my iPhone to select Amazon music and play to my Move 2 on wifi from my playlist using the Sonos app.However I prefer the convenience of using voice command to request Amazon music instead of using my iPhone. is that possible?thank you for your assistance.  

Hi there,I recently lost the ability to sign into the Sonos app on my iPad. The “recently played” section has a message “Sign in as system owner” message, and when I click the button, I get a browser window for login.sonos.com, but no fields are displayed.If I drag that window over to get a split screen, I can authenticate, but then the app responds with “Something went wrong” (why can’t programmers tell us what went wrong - it can’t be that hard 😃).Please see attached images. I also have the URL used to open the browser if requirediPad = 7th gen iPad OS = 18.1.1 Sonos app = 80.12.03I tried both Chrome and Safari as browsers (via “Default browser”) but the result is the same.I reset the iPad (shutdown and restart) but am reluctant to reset or reinstall the app in case I lose anything more - I’m still able to connect to my services and play from there. System is working fine with both the PC app and from my Android phone.Any clues or hints would be much appreciated!Cheers, Johninitial

Have a single Era100 connected to a Samsung TV via optical and an Apple TV also. Issue I have is because the TV is set to optical I have no way to control the volume other than the Sonos app. Is there any way to have the Apple TV remote control the volume? I can’t seem find a way round this.  TIA

About 8 months ago i purchased a house. The previous owner had installed wall mounted sonos speakers in the downstairs and upstairs bathrooms. When we veiwed the house he pointed them out to us, and played music from them, the sound quality was great, and they look nice too.Anyway, once we were settled in i set about trying to use them. I installed the sonos app, set up an account, it recognises the speakers, but i can't play any music from them. I have powered them off and on etc, spent hours waiting in the online chat support only to get nowhere. I keep getting this message to sign in as the system owner. I sign in but it just loops this message.Does anyone have any advice on how i can get them working, or, is it because i am not the original owner they cannot be used? It would be a shame to have to throw them out.PS. i have no contact with the previous house owner. Any support from him is not an option. 

Why is it taking so long to fix the appi feel as if it is as bad now as it was five months ago.  I would go as far as saying that it is UNUSABLE.  I’ve loved Sonos products for years and am blown away at the lack of attention the Sonos company has placed on fixing this

Hello folks,i’ve been having issues playing spotify playlist in all my 4 speakers (old sonos 1 + Beamer) at the same time since the app update. I can only play music at 1 Sonos speaker at a time. Sonos support is cero. I’ve formally complaint. I’m a client in Spain. Reached out to my friends in Germany (same issue).The whole point of sonos environment, is to be ableto play music in different rooms etc. Well, that no longer is possible for me.when I try to play all speakers in all rooms I get this error” please try later, we could not connect” they are all up-to-date and they system shows them as sync but cannot play all at once. It’s been ongoing for a year or 2 I would say.shall I try creating a new account instead and pair them in a new system maybe?thank you for your feedback.José  

I’d like to connect a turntable and maybe a CD player to the Arc Ultra and Sub 4 via Bluetooth or WiFi. I don’t have an amp and would prefer not to buy one due to $$$. I’m a newbie so please be patient. Looking for recommendations. I dont want to use a line in as the Arc is above by TV and no room for  turntable. Please don’t use too many acronym in reply.

I’ve seen no effort by Sonos to recognize that Sonos needs realize their products need to offer a way to speed up sound to allow it to catch up to the video.   Work on correcting you lip sync delay scale to go into the NEGATIVE area.  Let’s say a range of -5 to +5.   I really hoped to have seen solutions rather than blame being cast back to the tv makers.   Unfortunately it’s not happening.  So many people live with terrible lip sync issues and I’ve personally been forced to show captions to allow shows to make some sort of sense.  in the meantime I’m never recommending Sonos to anyone.    

Hello,I currently use a single Sonos One for music and an LG OLED without speakers for tv/movies. I’m thinking of upgrading with an Arc Ultra and two Era 100s for surround in order to improve both my music and movie experience.Right now, my One is in the middle of the room (red). From what I’ve read here and seen on the Sonos website, rear speakers should go behind the couch and be angled towards it (blue).My question is: If I set up the Era 100s like that, it will be great for movies and TV , but won’t the music sound worse if I’m anywhere else than on the couch (eg: in the kitchen) ? Since the speakers will be aimed towards the other side ? Is there a better way to do it ?If anyone has advice or tips, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!  

my Sonos app loses connection to my Home system pretty much every time I want to use it. Honestly, this happens about once a month and I have to reinstall everything from scratch again. I have probably come to the point where I am just going to get rid of all this Sonos equipment. Quite frankly it is terrible. It sounds great but the connectivity issues make it incredibly unreliable and I have been patient for over two years with three home theatres and speakers in every room.   I am going to list all the stuff on Facebook marketplace and just get rid of it. I am going to switch to Sony, which at least works reliably. I have found the same thing with any speakers made by Samsung. The TVs and the speakers simply don’t work too well together. There! This is the best solution I can offer anybody that has invested in Sonos technology. It looks like the company does try to a minor extent to make products that work reliably, but it must be a lot more complicated than it should be. Is it possible to use a remote control when move is connected to my tv via Bluetooth as the tv remote doesn’t alter the volume and I have to manually adjust or is there another way to connect to my tv

Since some time, whenever I try to connect to my Sonos 300 Era stereo pair in Apple iTunes on Mac OS (Sonoma 14.7.2 (23H311), iTunes starts to show the Sonos system as “Updating ...” for some time (named OFFICE): followed by “Can’t connect” popup.On the same wifi network I can connect to this Sonos system with zero issues from iPhone and iPad. Good Evening,I am trying for months now to try to hear when I’m watching TV or a movie people talking/voices from my Sonos ERA100 that are behind my coach ok each side.i only hearing people voices from the Sonos BEAM. All is in surround mode… the people voices/talking do not come out clearly…I mostly hear the music from the movies I am watching.would it be possible to have some help ?

Hello,after moving to a new location I wanted to setup my Play 1s again. I was able to add them as a new system and everything works fine in the sonos app. Then I reenabled my sonos skill in the Alexa app, but then no devices are found. I did everything to make it work: reset speakers, rebooted devices, restarted app, relinked Alexa and Sonos. But those devices just cannot be found… Are there any advices?

Era 100 making popping noises and flashing different coloured lights, cant seem to stop it. Any ideas please? (Nothing playing!)

I recently changed my router and since then my Sonos system has become a complete mess..I've tried following various pieces of advice from the web but the more I do the bigger the mess seems to get.  Should have asked the Community from the start !My system - I just have a pair of Play 3 speakers which were set up as a stereo pair and could play music from my music library, which is on a network drive.  I only use the system with the music library, nothing fancy, not playlists, radio etc. I have an old Android tablet with the Sonos 2 app, a Mac with Sonos 2 v16.5, and my wife has an Android Samsung phone she thinks it's an S9.The tablet and the Mac can both access the music library, but they only seem to recognise one of the Play 3s.  The controllers on those two devices are limited in functionality and don't seem to be capable of activating the other Play 3.  So they can only play music through one speaker.The S9 phone does seem to recognise the second Play 3 but not the first one.  A

I’ve tried downloading it from the sonos website and all it keeps saying in the sonos app from the sonos website is that sonos needs to get the latest software?says:We need to get Sonos running on the latest software.Choose Check for Updates to get started.  

Hi, this is 2024-12-15, I'm wondering if the Ikea remote control symfonisk and hub dirigera works with Sonos speakers that are not bought at Ikea. Would like to have the function press a button and start a sonos favorite. (I can tell google and it works variably). Really like the old way of pressing a button. So my main question is can I start a sonos favorite with ikea symfonisk?

After recent update majority of my Sonos devices have been constantly dropping off the internet every day or two.It's usually been 3 out of my 7 devices, however it's starting to get worse with the 4th now dropping off. I've gotten so frustrated I thought it may have been my router so I purchased a new $400 router setup. And still they are dropping.It's usually my Play:1, Play:3 and Play One. Hello.  My Sonos on Mac says my Apple Music needs to be “re-authorized” but this can only be done on an iOS device. Apple Music is fully authorized and operational on my iPhone, but I do not see any option to re-authorize it for the Mac. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Since the December 10 update to the latest version I have been unable to play music tracks via a linked spotify account on the latest SONOS Windows controller. The Web and mobile apps work fine, I’m able to play local music files and radio stations. I was listening to queued music before the update five minutes before perfectly fine, so this has occurred in the latest version.When I attempt to add music to the queue I get one of three error messages: “Unable to add music to the queue”, “Error 701”, “An error occurred whilst adding music tracks to the queue”. Steps I have taken so far include; Resetting the router, re-adding the Play:1 speakers I have, re-adding the spotify account, reinstalling the windows controller, resetting the windows controller, none of these have worked. 

How can it be that since the new app Sonos didn’t manage to solve the problem with the grouping of several devices?I can start playing the same music streaming service individually on every single device but when I try to group these I get always the same error “Unable to connect. Try later “Terrible product. And even worse is that after months the problem is still not solved. any suggestions for good alternatives to Sonos? I’m tired of this. I want to replace my system with something better.
