Hi there,I recently replaced my old play 5s with newer speakers that I added to the new Sonos app. I still have two speakers (play 3 and play 1) and a boost in the S1 app. I wanted to transfer them but somehow I cannot get it to work. S1 asks me to update and when I do that it opens the new Sonos app. But when I then update there it says the system is up to date and the three devices do not show in the new app. Not sure what to do? Has anyone had this problem and could fix it? Would be grateful for any advice or help. Let me know if further info is required.Thanks so much in advance.All the best, Tim

Dear all,my Sonos configuration consists ofSonos Arc Ultra Sonos Sub 3rdIt performed the latest update on 2025-01-12 and Bluetooth playback stopped working. It does not play any sound from Windows ThinkPad laptop neither from Android smartphone. The device seems to be connected properly, even volume indicator indicates sound is playing. However there is not any sound at all.Any suggestins or hints how to resolve it, please?

My sonos move 2 will not connect to my apartment building wifi, and when i try to connect it via bluetooth by pressing the bluetooth button on the back it wont go into pairing mode, i made sure everything was up to date and charged, i just purchased the speaker a few days ago and still havent been able to enjoy it, is there any fixes?

Hi - I know this has been asked and answered in many different ways and forums, I have tried many of those solutions but still have instances where speakers drop in/out. I have not been able to pinpoint any specific event that may drive this.My wifi is strong, I have a mesh network, a few of the speakers connect to the 5Hz but most to the 2.4Hz network. When things get really, really bad I unplug all speakers (16) and reboot my router and mesh, then plug them all back in. This seems to work with some lags.The issue has been persistent since the new app, I have changed my router (from stock xfinity to a Synology Mesh) and seen no difference. My Arc was hard wired, so SonosNet which I have since taken on wifi and away from SonosNet, there is some perceived stability after this (maybe?).I have been thinking of creating a separate Sonos only 2.4Hz network for all the speakers to test, does this make sense? It will be a bit annoying since my mobile will have to use the 2.4Hz or I will have

This problem occurs specifically when I play FLAC files from my NAS drive.Steps Taken to Troubleshoot:Changed Sonos Channel: I’ve changed the Sonos system’s channel to Channel 11, as it is the least congested in my area based on a Wi-Fi analysis. Checked Network Setup: My Wi-Fi is stable, and my network operates on a 5 GHz band for general devices, with the 2.4 GHz band reserved for Sonos and other compatible devices. Optimized Network Configuration: I’ve ensured minimal interference by separating the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz SSIDs and placing Sonos speakers closer to the router.Despite these efforts, the issue persists only when playing FLAC files from my NAS drive. Hi,  I have a Sonos arc and am planning to get two era 100’s as surround. I understand  that the era 100’s do not have Dolby atmos however Will I still get Dolby atmos from the arc. Thanks

This has happened multiple times with the app. Watching on apple tv - Netflix or whichever app will randomly say ‘no content’ and I cannot control the volume through the app. It is a major pain. My Bluetooth is on and wifi is fine.  

 Player 3 and bridge cant connect to Sonos App. It said that dont support or can not recevied more updates.That means i have to threw away my perfectly sounding speakers player 3 , and only use my Era 100?Anything that i can do to put it back on use?

I am upgrading from Beam 2.  To.  Arc ultra. Question Do I have  to setup again my mini sub and 2 100 rear speakers to Arc? Thank you…

Hello,This was raised several month ago with no answer ():Our Sonos One SL now shows up in the system when wired to the eero router, but disappears when ethernet is unplugged. When visible, the speaker shows wifi activated (in the app).Are there steps to take before unplugging the speaker, to make sure it will still work over wifi?FWIW it used to work (with usual Sonos hickups) for years over wifi, then stopped.

I purchaced an ARC Ultra and 2 x ERA 300’s on Boxing day, set up was easy all worked great until the Sonos App needed to update. Since doing this it seems I’ve lost the volume slider on one out of the three each time I open it.I’ve also lost functionality through the app, where more often than not I have go to the speaker to turn on , off or control volume.Seems as though the app is relatively useless now, because these are all the functions I want to remotely control.Reading through the community comments this seems to have been going on for over 7 months with SONOS help saying they will release bug fixes shortly.When is shortly please ?Anyone resolved this issue ? I have tried all the suggestions, resets, reboot, uninstalls etc

Hey guys.Today my Sonos Port underwent an update. And after that it didn't connect anymore, even my account seems to have disappeared.I've tried every possibility listed in the Sonos help file and nothing works.Any other suggestions? 

After searching threads on this site, I am STILL unable to successfully play radio output from my Yamaha receiver, (RX-V373) via a Sonos Connect (S15, Gen 2 mfg 05/2019), to play through my Play:1 and/or Roam SL speakers.Once I get this working, I’ll hook up my turntable (unamplified) and CD player to it.Here’s a photo of the back of my receiver. I have tried RCA cables connected to the Audio Out jacks (lower right hand corner of the photo)In each case, I’ve connected them to the Analog Audio “In” jacks on the Sonos Connect. My Overall System has 3 components:Living Room: Play1Living Room: Connect (Model S15, manufactured 05/2019)Living Room: Roam SLConnect menu shows the Line-in is connected.The Line-Out only has a choice for Line-Out Level (I chose “variable”). I’m clearly missing something crucial!Thanks! 

Hello, After spending a lot of money on SONOS, among other things, for its advertising of ease of use and versatility... looking for a solution for my need, I found the unpleasant surprise that there is no possible solution: you cannot "easily switch" your pair of Sonos ERA 300 to use them in a home cinema system and in another stereo. How can this be possible in 2025? Does SONOS plan to meet this demand at some point or is it not even considering it? Thanks

My set up is an arc, sub mini and era 300 as surrounds, plus a play one in two other rooms.  I think k it would be good to be able to use the era300 as Bluetooth receivers even if in surround mode. I have no way to play from my record player in the living room but the room is full of Sonos speakers! Could the surrounds not receive a Bluetooth signal and distribute it to the other speakers on the network. They could continue to work as surrounds just a suggestion

Hello EveryoneI have a Sonos Five, which is exactly two years old tomorrow.  It has suddenly stopped working.  I have performed factory reset (including with and without ethernet connection to router), the app recognises it and adds it to the S2 app and my system.  It even performs Trueplay.  However, when I try to play music or a radio station through it, I am getting “unable to connect.  Try again later”.   Please does anyone have any advice or tips on anything else to try please?  Thanks for any suggestions.Mike  

When I choose the Sonos Radio service from the Sonos app on my IPhone my screen says that my account access has expired and ask me to sign in.I sign in but the items are all greyed out.When I check my account it says it is “Active: Sonos Radio HD”When I click Content Services”, it does not open, but asks me to sign in (again) which does nothing.Any suggestions for how I can access Sonos Radio?Thanks 

My Sonos beam (gen 2) is wall mounted.  There doesn’t seem to be enough room behind the speaker for the hdmi cable to comfortably make the turn, therefore it kinks.  Any remedies anyone have for this?

As title says, my Playbar powers off after a few seconds. Initially the led light is on then shuts off. This issued began a few years ago but I’m back to trying to fix it. anyone know a fix for this?I’ve tried different cords and outlets. 

Hello,I am trying to figure out what would be the best speaker solution for my bathroom, which gets much ‘steamy’. I am currently between Roam 2 and Era 100, but I would appreciate any ideas and suggestions. V

I have a Sonos Era 100 and I am trying to get it to receive audio from a bluetooth transmitter (Avantree Oasis B).ie basically the Sonos Era is going to be receiving an external audio source via bluetooth.Can anyone advise if / how this can work?When attempting to pair the devices, I cannot see anything in the Sonos app.Does the Era 100 even support this?My backup solution is to connect another third party bluetooth receiver to the Avantree, then send the signal via aux cable to the Line In on the Sonos Era.

My wife and I have 2 x Spotify Premium Duo accounts - one each on our respective iPhones.  Both accounts are connected accounts on our Sonos app, with my wife’s account as the primary (and selected) account.  However when I leave the house and play spotify in the car or through my air pods, the Sonos playlist in the house stops playing.  Is there a way to configure this to prevent that?
