Trying to install Arc Ulta for first time.  Go to step in install were wanted to connect with my WiFi network.  Connection failed, so tired wired connection with same results.  Did factory reset.  Same results.  Any suggestions?

What ever the problem was, I solved it by uninstall then reinstalling the Sonos App.  Then did a factory reset on the Arc Ultra.  Signed into my Sonos account.  I ran the setup program again and this time the Arc Altra connected to my WiFi and seems to be performing well. My setwork is through Comcast and I have a XB10 Advanced gateway.

Describe your network for us. Include model numbers. Note that SONOS cannot be installed on “guest” WiFi or in multi-unit buildings with central WiFi. We can offer solutions.

Although I own several sonos speakers, this frustration builds every time I encounter endless drops and failures to connect to Airplay. I own a wired surround soundbar and that might be annoying but it always works. I don’t have to worry when I sit down will it connect or not, will it drop in the middle of the game or movie. Maybe it’s my wifi network, maybe it’s just airplay (because often the sonos app itself works better) but no other devices as the Sonos speaker suffer from some routine problems.

This is the primary reason why I can’t justify replacing the reliability of the wires for the fickle connectivity of Sonos or any other wireless speakers.
