I am following directions on how to connect my era to my bar on the tv and it’s not connecting. My Bluetooth is on I have this issue often

Sonos does make an Arc soundbar.
As previously pointed out, Sonos devices are not transmitters of Bluetooth, only receivers. You’d need to have the WiFi turned on on both devices, or have them both connected back to your router with an Ethernet cable to group them. There will still be a 75ms delay between the Arc any any ‘grouped’ room. However, if a pair of speakers is set up as surrounds, and ‘bonded’ to the Arc, there is no delay, but the surround speakers will carry the surround channels, and not the front channels.

Which ‘bar’? There is no ‘Era’ bar.

If you’re trying to add surrounds, you need two of the same model speakers, as you’ll set up both a Left surround and a Right surround.
I only have one era100. I have a sound bar under my tv. What I want to do is just connect my bar with my one eta 100. Normally I can turn it on then touch the >||button and it coincides with my tv volume.
Still haven’t answered the questions I asked.
If this is a Sonos soundbar of some type, you should be able to group them.
Note, there is always a slight delay between any Sonos soundbar bar and a grouped room.
Sorry. Yes a Sonos bar and yes I have linked them together I hit everywhere and apply but when I click on the button >||. It does nothing but beep and the blue light is blinking on the eta 100

These are sensible questions. You could answer them.
If you want your Era to connect via bluetooth to a (non Sonos) soundbar, this won’t work. Soundbars are Bluetooth receivers, not emitters.
It’s a Roku tv. I think the bar is an “ark”. I thought I needed Bluetooth on??
How can you not know what the bar is? And how can you expect help without basic details like that?
If there’s any kind of setup guide that came with the bar, read that and follow the instructions it provides.
If you must know I had someone set it up for me in advance before I moved in so never mind. I’ll figure it out!
