hooking two sonos amps to outdoor tv hdmi arc

I have two sonance architechural outdoor 6.1 sets powered by 2 seperate sonos amps and have now added an outdoor tv. I would like to use both amps for the tv. It has an Arc hdmi out on the tv which I have spit to the two amps but I don't seem to be able to get sound. any ideas. tv is set to arc ou

You could group the Amps if they are far enough apart for the 75ms delay not to bother you.

I’d be very concerned about ‘splitting’ an HDMI ARC signal, which is what the Sonos is looking for. I don’t know off hand what the nominal voltage is on that signal, but I’d want to use a device that powers both outputs, rather than simply splitting the signal in half. It might be too low.

I’ve never shopped for a device that has two HDMI ARC outputs on it, but would assume you might be best to search on Amazon, at least for ideas, then shop locally as desired.

I figured it out thanks. The arc hdmi goes straight to 1 amp and the other picked it up. As soon as i took the splitter out it worked instantly. Sounds great!
