Hello, it’s me.  Sonos, not Sinis 😞 I have an IoT network, my secure network routes to the IoT network but firewall rules prevent access from IoT network to secure net other than established or related.  Can I put Sonos on my IoT network and connect and use it from my secure network?  I was pretty sure I did that yesterday, moved Sonos to the IoT network from secure as I finally got firewall rules working the way I want and all seemed well, but today I went to add a new Sonos device and it said Sonos was on secure network.  So, I seem to remember Sonos didn’t like being on a connected routed segment?  Is that right or no?

tanks.

Sonos expects all devices and the controller to be on the same subnet, and for traffic to pass freely between all devices on that subnet.

IoT networks often block inter-device comms.

Some have had success with firewall rules to get a phone working off the isolated network, but at that point why bother? The phone is more of a security risk than any Sonos device.
