I am changing wireless connections and want to play my existing Sonos Playlist on the new connection after we move. Is there a way to save/export the sonos playlist before I change connections which I can then import when the new wireless connection is set up? The playlist has built over time and now has thousands of songs in so we don't want to lose it! Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm the lucky owner of 2 x Play:5. I think the sound is perfect. I'm considering a sub to add to the 2 Play:5, but I'm not sure if there is any effect, since they play so good. Does anyone has this setup and what are your experiences?

I have a Netgear R6220 router with both 2.4 and 5 network. The Sonos can only connect to 2.4 obviously. I set it up. I was connecting from iphone and win 10 Sonos apps to the sonos speaker while both iphone and windows computers were on 5g network. Suddenly it stopped working. Iphone/windows 10 sonos app no longer finds the speaker. Why? I have 2 Wyze Cams on 2.4 (only connects to 2.4) and I can connect to both of them just fine still from the 5g wireless. There seems to be some kind of "communication" between 2.4 and 5g for wyze and sonos but suddenly the communication stopped between 2.4 and 5g for the sonos.

I can’t find an unambiguous answer to this question anywhere: Does the original (gen1?) Play:5 support AirPlay 2?

(1) The Beam contents are listed as including a "power cord" and "HDMI cable". How long are these cables? (2) Is a power cord extension available? (3) The Sonos store sells an HDMI cable ( https://www.sonos.com/en-us/shop/hdmi-cable.html ) but its length is not specified. Is it longer than the one included with the Beam? Thanks!

By no means am i an audiophile, but I do notice a good home theater system. In between getting a beam + sub (already have two sonos ones) or a playbase with no sub. Generally speaking what would you guys imagine is the better set up sound quality wise? Initial reviews seems like Beam is going to be missing some bass, but sub in my mind would help make up for that?

Noob questions perhaps but will I get better 5.1 with the BEAM and HDMI than I would with the PLAYBASE/BAR and Optical?

Hi, I have a pair of Play 1's and an Echo Dot hooked up to a Connect in the kitchen. It was a rather expensive solution but ticked the boxes i) Children being able to ask Alexa for music ii) YouTube is a consistently good source for a type of music I like so I can bluetooth from any tablet or mobile device to the Dot I'm loving my kitchen setup and now I have the budget to look at my Cellar Lounger Room. The room is fairly small - 4.5m long by 3.5m wide I suspect I can tick all the boxes if I spend enough money and I see a couple of options Number #1 priority is good quality music system Number #2 priory is good quality sound from TV I looks clear that I get the PlayBar for my wall mounted TV which has optical audio out The decision I think is around the speakers I choose for listening to music / tv surround sound. Can the input be selected on the Beam? For example, can I watch my TV and listen to music from my library or streaming service through the beam?

Does Sonos Beam take Bluetooth connection?

I’m having trouble getting solid volume from my turntable with my new Connect. I’ve searched extensively in the forums and basic info from Sonos articles but couldn’t find advice to resolve this issue. Hi Guys, hoping somebody may be able to help me out here please. On Sunday my system prompted me to update, which I did but then the update failed to complete, which is a new one on me. The 'Connect' in my system has now disappeared from the controller and has a solid red light on the front, I have tried various reboots and even tried a reset but the unit appears unresponsive to even this. I have 2 x play 3, 1 x play 5 (mk1) along with the connect controlled by iphones. I've had various intermittent problems over the years with all of it, mostly local network issues but this is the first time a unit appears to have failed completely. Any thoughts would be gratefully received. Bill

What's the controller and how do I remove a music service from it?

I have an iPhone 7 and a Sonos system with a Play 1, Play 3, and a Connect. Streaming services (I mostly use TuneIn radio) work fine, but when I play content on my phone (from my iTunes library or podcasts), playback will skip from one track to the next before the first track has finished playing. Sometimes I seem able to address the problem if I turn my phone off and back on. I have been in contact with multiple tech support people from Sonos, who keep having me tweak my router to a different channel as if that will fix the problem (unlikely, since I live in a rural area with no other wifi routers around to conflict with), but it doesn't; and if I leave a message on their callback service, no one calls me back. I live in NZ, which has pretty much zero Sonos support. When I call the US number now, the wait times are so long that they will eat up all my international minutes. I just set up my Sonos yesterday. I have synced the Direct TV remote with Sonos. But every now and then the remote control volume does not work .. Have to use the app.. Again it works at some times but it is not in sync with the app volume.. Its very confusing and looks very buggy. Never had such an experience with my previous home theatre.. Also some time when we start the TV there is no volume at all.. How can i resolve this ?

I made a mistake in adding a new speaker, and ended up adding two named speakers, but only one physical speaker exists. How can I delete the unused name from app (system?)

As I have seen with some other posts the Sonos chime occasionally plays instead of the playlist music from my computer. It worked perfectly for maybe 6 months but then this has happened a few times in the past weeks. As I saw from another post (https://en.community.sonos.com/controllers-software-228995/sonos-alarm-plays-chime-instead-of-pandora-6789800) the recommendation is to submit diagnostics so I have done that. The confirmation number of the submission is: 1968602670 Can someone take a look at that and let me know what's going on? The music playlist its attempting to play is music from the "Music Library" on one of my computers. Thanks.

Hi all, I have a sonos playbar, sub and two play 1’s for rears. I have noticed that recently when playing films in Dolby digital (Apple TV 4K) that the playbar sound seems to be being drowned out by the the rear speakers. The sonos is reporting Dolby digital 5.1 in the app. I have tried enabling speech option on playbar but doesn’t seem to make much difference. The only option seems to be turning off rears to hear what is being said. I need to try some other films but it does seem the rears seem much louder than the playbar ? Normal tv is fine albeit not tried rears yet. Any tips would be great :D

I have a Playbar connected to a TV via optical cable that recently started having to be reset anytime I want to use it. If I stop watching TV or playing music on it for a little bit of time, it won't play any sound (music or TV audio) until I unplug it and plug it back in. Then it kicks back on. It isn't paired with any surrounds or sub but there are other standalone Play 1s, 3s and 5s on the network. I have had the system in its current configuration for years with no problems like this. I haven't recently made any changes to my system that would trigger this that I can think of. It just started happening one day. I have tried a factory reset on the Playbar but that didn't fix the issue. Any ideas?

Hello I have just bought a Playstand which is very good but I now have a redundant Playbar. Can I use the Playbar like a Play1 or Play3 and set it up as a speaker in my study?

Cleared the queue during play of a music service station - songs cleared, and station continues to play, but now queue information is blank and no info will appear anymore for anything? Looked for info and could find nothing on how to get the queue display to re-populate.

I have a play one and Sonos one that has been working great. I just got a play3 and it’s says I need to update . I have tried several times and the update is not working. Tried resetting router, modem , controller and all the Sonos players still not working. I also tried to connect direct with the Ethernet cable and no luck.
