I have 2 Sonos systems at my house and cottage (14 & 12 zones) that are connected to the same Sonos account. Will this cause any issues with playback or Amazon Echo integration. I have been having issues on both systems recently but I assumed that it was due to poor internet connectivity.

this is the second time in the same week I get the message sorry we can't connect to sonos. The first time I had to pull the plug on my router to sort it the second time it has not worked also i dont want to keep unplugging my router every week any thoughts.I have not changed anything only have a 1 and a 3 connected wirelessly.

I can't access Alexa through my Sonos One. Also, the light beneath the mic will not come on - perhaps related? The Sonos side works fine. I can see the Sonos One on my Sonos app, and can play music through it. I just can't talk to it. Or rather, it can't hear me.

Just updated to the public beta and setup sonos and alexa apps. Cant get anything to play just says ok or i dont know what went wrong I have 5 devices all discovered but none work. Any ideas where to start problem solving Kind regards Michael

I would like to purchase a TV sound system and be able to connect it with other speakers around the house. !. How many speakers can I connect to one bar system? 2. Will I be able to listen to the TV through those other speakers, not only the bar system ones?

I have an oled c7 remote and the sky Q and i would like to pair the 2 to my playbase. i can pair the lg remote via the sonos app but i cant find any codes for the playbase to programme the sky remote the other way. I used to have both remotes working when i had my samsung ks series but cant do it here. Is there a way round this. Thank you.

All connected. added some music to the queue in the app... can pause music one time in 5, can't get amazon music unlimited to play any music at all using the phrases supplied here, It just plays whatever song is in the queue, so basically at a loss of how to use this, I have the echo dot and each has a play 5 or playbar. cant get the volume to go up or down and has some generic message about can't do it while there is no music playing - even though the queue plays.. guys have we really waited a year for this?

Could someone confirm whether I can connect regular wired headphones to the analog out of a CONNECT (using a suitable RCA to headphone cord adaptor)? I.e., that I don't need to interpose some kind of headphone amp. Thanks.

Can Alexa be used to control my system from each device?

Been waiting to hear news about when this will happen and am starting to think it never will. I have Sonos and Alexa in every room. I did this with the assurance that Sonos and Alexa are going to work together. There has been next to no news regarding integration for the past 6 months.... When can we expect to hear about Sonos and Alexa integration? Is it still happening? Please any update would be appreciated.

When I ask Alexa for the weather, she tells me the weather in California. How can I update her and get her to realise that I live in the UK? Thanks guys

I am almost giving up with this Sonos & Alexa integration. I have a Play:1 device which I am trying to link up with Alexa. The Alexa app on Android is the most recent, the Sonos app on Android and the Windows desktop are the most recent. Also the software on the Play:1 is up-to-date (checked on the Android app and Desktop app). I can add the Skill on either the App or through a web browser (Chrome) on the desktop - I have signed into my Sonos account, authorised, then signed into the Amazon account (goes to Amazon.com not .co.uk??). This seems to work without a hitch every single time I have tried it (I have lost count now...). The problem comes when I try to discover devices the message "There was an error discovering your devices" flashes up and has done so every single time I have re-added the Skill which is now driving me insane!! I have even reset the Play:1 and re-installed all the apps numerous times but still cannot get Alexa to discover the Play:1. Stuck!

I am having difficulty getting Alexa to respond to audio requests for her to play music over Sonos in several rooms at the same time. She only seems to be able to cope with one room. Anyone else experienced this?

I have struggled over the years with my Sonos system and it's intermittent on/off the network. So, I finally re-configured network to be 100% on my WiFi with a LinkSys net extender (using same SSID). It's stable now...BUT 1) My Sonos controller (not a phone) no longer works because it needs to communicate through a bridge; correct? But, using a bridge means I have to go back to a private SonosNet; correct? 2) So, my options are to continue using Android phones/tablet to run the system (wife likes the old controller) or to migrate to voice-control (Amazon Echo) or other controller (waiting for a Flipp).... I think that voice-control may be her best bet....thoughts?

I have successfully logged in and linked both my Amazon account and Sonos account, added the Sonos skill to Alexa. Aleax wont discover any of my Sonos speakers .. just says there has been an error discovering your devices

Will the new Sonos One stream music directly from a NAS device on the same network?

Evening everyone! First post here. So the title says it all really. I've decided that I'd like to start my journey into having a wireless speaker setup around the house. We are an Apple household, with iPhones, iPads and two Apple TV's (4th Gen and 4K) and use Apple Music as our streaming service. We also have Amazon Prime and have used an Echo Dot previously. Our only speakers are the ones in our phones, a Samsung soundbar and Now given that we are so Apple heavy, when looking at the various options and discussing it with the boss (AKA Wife), we came to the conclusion that the Sonos speakers seemed to be the most family friendly and unrestricted, as opposed to say getting a HomePod which is Apple only, that when we have people round they can download the Sonos app from their respective app store if need be and then load tunes up with minimal fuss. But would the community here say it's worth jumping in now or waiting until the dust clears...? I personally can't see

Hi, I have seen similar topics on here regarding this issue but think this one is unique. I received my Play:1 & 3 yesterday and set them up fine. At this point my iPhone 6 was able to adjust the volume using the physical buttons. Later that day I set my girlfriend's iPhone 6 up and realised that my buttons no longer worked. I have reset the app, re-downloaded it, even factory reset both speakers and set it up again. As it stands her phone can control the volume but mine cannot. Is there anyway to resolve this so that both phones can use the physical buttons to control the volume? Thanks in advance for any help.

If I buy a new Sonos 1 with Alexa capability/mic, will it be able to pair with my Sonos 1 without Alexa for stereo?

Hey, I'm new to Sonos in general here--I work in a kitchen and we recently just got a system there. Beforehand, we typically would play various artist radio stations from Spotify through an AUX connection, and would add songs/albums to the queue when we wanted them to play next. Now we're still using Spotify, but through the Sonos App. However, now when we're playing a Spotify station and want to add songs/abums to play next (and have it automatically revert back to that station when those songs/albums added finish I should add), it will just continue playing from the station and ignore we have manually added. We've tried 'Play Next' and 'Add to Queue' and neither work the same way they seemed to when it was just the Spotify app without being filtered though the Sonos app. Hopefully this question computes, and it's a simple thing that we're missing. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I have been runnning a Plex service into my Sonos, all was working great until I rebuilt my Plex server and used a different server name. The old server has been deleted from my Plex account so it just shows one server but my Sonos keeps trying to connect to the old name. I have removed the service and reauthorised but it's still trying to connect to a server that is no longer there. Any ideas how to fix?

I understand that Alexa will play music from several music services including Amazon Music and named streaming stations but will it play all existing music from my Sonos Music Library which has not necessarily been gathered from these named services?
