Starting to get tee hang of this. 4 Sonos devices and 1 echo dot here. Cancelled Deezer and have Amazon unlimited 30 day trial (not the limited echo music service). I can start multiple Amazon streams via the app without issue, and I can start one Amazon stream by voice ok. However if I start a second Amazon stream in another room by voice, Echo says that Amazon music is streaming on another device, would I like to stream on {room name} instead?’. Is this expected behaviour? Thanks Andrew

Sometimes I start listening music from one sonos in one room and then it happens to move to another room and I want to add the sonos in that room to the flow. What I have to do is to use the app but I think it would be nice to just be able to press one of the buttons to add that sonos to the group. For example: press for 2 seconds the button play/mute to do the trick. [b]Is it possible to add that feature?[/b] thanks a lot in advance for the feedback.

I have a HP 1920-24G as core switch and am adding a HP 1810-8G to replace an unmanaged switch in a media room. The 1920 has 4 ZPs directly wired to it. The 1810 is at the end of a drop from the 1920. On the 1810, I have a Connect attached, which also has a line in from the media amplifier. The Connect also provides sonosnet connectivity to a pair of Play 3's and one Play 5 that are too far from the switch/ZP area. To get the setup working, I disabled wifi (sonosnet) on the 4 wired ZPs and enabled STP on the 1920 and on the 1810. I set the priority of the 1920 at 4096 and the priority of the 1810 as 8128. The system is operable (no diabling broadcast storms), but the Connect is showing up as root on the Sonos STP, not the HP 1920. My understanding is that the MAC of the 1920 should be the system root. In the 1920 diagnostic file and on the 1810 configuration page, it appears that the 1920 is root - it's just in the Sonos STP output that the 1920 is not root. In screen

Hi, I have a sonos playbase and i will buy a Tv Sony Bravia KD-65A1. The Sony KD-65A1 has a design very particular so my question is if i can put the Sony tv over the sonos playbase, or i have to put the sonos playbase lay next to the sony tv?

I've had problems in the past when I couldn't reset my CR200. I've tried pulling the battery, and still the CR200 won't charge in its cradle - the orange light lights up, but doesn't blink, the controller doesn't turn on, and the controller seemingly doesn't charge. I've had this happen in the past, and tech help by phone provided a specific keystroke pattern with the buttons to reset it or start it up. Can someone please let me know that sequence please? Every time after I log into the community forum, and I select a posting (which shows replies) I can never see the replies to the posted message, I can only see the original posted message. What am a I missing and how can I fix this? The replies are so important IMHO.

The Sonos One works well with Amazon Prime music and I can ask Alexa to play Playlists on my bedroom Sonos; however it will not play any songs that I have uploaded to 'My Music' on Amazon. The Sonos help says "Access the music that you own, directly from your Sonos system" however how can I do this via Alexa?

Hi, I have already looked at a few threads but am still confused. I have two Play 1’s (the original ones). I want to get Alexa working through them, what is the best way. Do I need to upgrade to the new Play ones or just buy something like the Echo dot which is much cheaper.

Alexa keeps looping the error messages that I need to link m speakers to my email. When I go to my Sonos account it says my sonos system is registered to my email. All my speakers are listed under my "Products". Help?

I have an MJ acoustics pro 50 MK2 sub. I was planning on conecting this to my connect amp via a high level neutrik cable rather than the sub out socket on the amp. Can this be done and will I need to connect all 3 leads or just two ( not the black ground) as it’s a digital amp ? The sales guy at MJ has told me I can’t use the high level lead only the sub out, I don’t believe he is correct based in some other articles I’ve read? My reason for connection via the speaker terminals as opposed to the sub out connection is that I believe a lower cross over frequency will be achieved and that the bass. Will still go to my floor standers - is this all correct?

So I updated Sonos app then setup alexa and Sonos. All devices are recognized. Have playback with 2 speakers, and 2 plays in different rooms. Playback works great. When I give command to other rooms. Alexa tells me that the device does not support the command. Did I miss an update for the speakers? If so where?

So I have had a sonos playbar for a few years and suddenly today it stopped working. So it stopped playing sound that comes from the cable box for live tv. Any Ideas?

I just purchased the sub... already have a connected playbar with LG Oled 65b6p. The sub connected, the sound test ran and seemed everything was all good. Afterward, zero sound is coming out of it no matter what I'm watching. Sound settings are set to Audio Out: Optical/HDMI ARC: Auto (which picks up Dolby digital automatically). Help! How do I get this $700 sub working with the tv!?

I have been going back and forth with Sonos Support for over a month on getting my rebate coupon for my three CR-100s and it essentially is me saying "I didn't get it." and them saying "Check your e-mail again." With a short interlude of "I'm going to be out of the office and I'll have someone else tell you to check your e-mail again until I return." to liven things up. I resubmitted my data via the web form as well as providing it directly to the support person via e-mail but still no coupon. I get my other mail from Sonos with no problem but just in case I provided alternate e-mail addresses to try. That suggested option got no response from Sonos. I finally broke down and called support and spent 15 minutes on hold. While there is a call-back option it is very hard to activate, I don't know if the LOUD blaring hold music that makes you hold the phone well away from your ear overwhelming my key press or if the time window that the key press will be accepted is very small

Hi, I have sonos throughout my flat - so not that large an area really. I have two players at separate ends of the flat hard wired. I've started to get an increasing problem of players dropping in and out or coming to multi play late. Help appreciated. Diagnostic test done during drop outs: 363246129

I have been a member of the community for many years but had to re-register when I lost access to an email account. The registration page asks you to tick the Sonos products you have from a list, but does not include any Zone or controller products e.g. ZP100, ZP90, Zonebridge, CR100 etc.. Why is this? Is this an indication that Sonos is going to continue the trend it started with the CR100 and spike all of these products such that they no longer work? I cannot think of any other explanation and it would certainly be in character to try to force earlier customers to purchase new hardware.

Is it possible for me to instruct Alexa to play music to my multiple sonos speakers throughout my home. For example, am I able to instruct alexa to "play music everywhere" and the music comes out of all my sonos speakers?

Hi. I have an unopened Echo Dot and was wondering if Alexa can control my Apple Music like my iPhone app can to my Sonos Connect that is hooked up to my 2 channel system in the basement?
