Is there a way to schedule Sonos to turn on at a specified time each morning and turn off at a specified time each evening. I manage a small B&B and we try to have music playing around our pool area from 9am - 9pm Sonos allows me to set an alarm to turn the system on at a specified time, but does not allow me to set a time for the system to turn off. If this is not something that Sonos is capable of, please make it a priority to add to the platform. It would certainly create a valuable enhancement. Any help would be appreciated. Hi all, I have a large L-shaped living room/kitchen. in the high end of the L I have two Play5 speakers vertically set up as stereo (although I just read they'll only play stereo when horizontal, is that correct?) My main question is, in the low end of the L the sound of the speakers is very far away, and any stereo-effect is gone. (Note, the width of the L at the high end is about 4 meters, but the length is about 11 meters). I would like to get an extra Sonos speaker for my living room, but is there a way to combine yet another speaker to this setup, and which one should that be. I was thinking about a Play3, as the main concern is the sound in the high-end of the room.

Rear play 1 speakers have a clicking sound with no audio. Also, no audio from play bar or any other speakers (??)

I have my wedding this weekend and am having trouble creating a solution for if/when the Wifi connection is not strong enough or complete goes out. the wedding is outside and while I do have a Bridge, I don;t want to rely on that and need to figure out a solution to play completely without internet connection. I've seen people mention setting everything up on your home network with an additional router and then once that has been done, to unplug that router form your home connection and then into one of the Play:1's and that the router creates a local connection for things to work on. that is not working for me. Please help, thanks!

Is it possible to buy a spare power cable for the PLAY:1? I need to cut off the plug to pass the power cable through a wall and would like a replacement in case I need to revert to as purchased.

Hello, I just got my first Sonos, play 5, really enjoying it. I didn't buy the bridge and have it connected in wireless mode to my AP. I had to change the configuration to support b/g. Is there a plan to support 802.11n/ac? In order to support n or ac, I am wondering if it will be a different hardware or another firmware/software update? TIA

Hi Recently I bought two Play1's from best buy and i received in two different color boxes. I noticed one box has Title Sonos Play:1 and in black color and other box is just Play:1 and in red color . Speaker pictures are also different on each box. On one box it says Wireless hifi system and other box does't have that caption. Do you guys think that I received fake products. I have both a Project turntable and a Samsung smart tv connected into a playbar via a optical audio switch. Have to manually turn the switch, but it works well. Also have a sub paired with playbar for TV. Can I add two play 3s as both the surrounds for TV AND a stereo pair for the turntable?

I have just added a playbase to my TV today, and therefore disconnected the internal loudspeakers in the TV as required, and everything works just fine, except I can't hear any sound no more, when I want to watch a film on my blu-ray. Can I some how get the sound out through the Sonos Playbase, or must I turn the internal loudspeakers back on, each time I want to watch a film on my Blu-ray??? Can anyone help me with this/give me an answer? Thank You In Advance.

Hello! We have purchased many Sonos products while living in the EU. We are moving back to the US soon, can we buy replacement cords for the units that have detachable cords? can we just use a plug adaptor for the rest? We have Play:5's, the small ones, the playbar, the bridge... Would be great if we can confirm we can use it all in the US. We love our Sonos! Thank you!

ok, not really. But no company has eternal life. Sonos doesn't have it neither. So, let's use our imagination and imagine that Sonos goes bankrupt (doesn't matter if it is likely or not). [b]Q[/b]: What will happen to our speakers? I presume we won't see any software updates coming (assuming Sonos won't open source it). But what else will happen? [u]Background[/u]: reason I'm asking is that I strongly dislike the risk of being reliant on a company to have my speakers to work and I'm not sure whether this is the case with Sonos. I don't want to buy a "Revolv smart home hub" when I could have bought a pair of speakers that could last decades, barring technical failures. What's your take on whether Sonos speakers need Sonos-the-company to exist or not? Gijs p.s. I have a Playbar, a Play 5, and a Play 3. I also have a record player with a receiver and two speakers that I need to replace. I'm debating either (1) buying a Connect Amp and a pair of nice ($300 range) bookshelf speakers; or (2) buying a Connect Amp and two Play 1s. Goal is to be able to play records throughout the house as well as my digital music and sound from the TV (Playbar and bookshelf/two Play 1s would be in the same room). Thoughts on whether it's better to go with bookshelf speakers or two Play 1s to achieve this goal?

Hi, I haven't seen this question answered. I have a large room, 20x25, with a high ceiling. I am wondering if I should go with a stereo pair of play 1s and a stereo pair of play 3s, or a stereo pair of play 1s and a subwoofer. I am using air miles to get them and Play 5s are not an option, nor is a pair of 3s and a subwoofer (beyond my miles). I know the play 1s with a subwoofer will be better for bass, but I'm concerned that they won't be enough to fill the space. I'm thinking the two pairs of 1s and 3s will better fill the space. Is this correct?

My Play 5 has completely stopped working. I've tried a different power lead and outlet and no luck. It's first gen but I've not had it that long, since April 2016. How do I go about getting it replaced (hopefully) or fixed? Thanks.

Site: 3 level (basement, main floor, upstairs) home. 7k sq ft. Lot size about a half acre (want coverage for my lot/yard as well). Requirement 1 - Great sound quality in major entertaining areas, all bedrooms, and the backyard grilling terrace, and dining courtyard. Requirement 2 - so easy my kids can use it. Requirement 3 - easy for guests to connect and stream their own music My wifi will be robust inside and outside via a Ubiquiti Networks design being implemented. I can use that same WIFI network (separate VLAN?) for Sonos or can even do hardwired since the framing has just begun on the house. There's a comms closet in the basement.
