Hi Everyone, I don't manage to make working my Technics SLBD-20 vinyl records Turntable with My Connect Amp. I don't have any sound. I have no problem with my CD reader which works perfectly on Sonos thru the Connect Amp. Do you know how I can connect my Turntable to my Sonos system ? Thanks a lot, Olivier

Has anyone out there had issues with a speaker causing a GFCI outlet to trip. When I plug in a Play 5 speaker on a downstream outlet the GFCI outlet immediately trips.

Hey everyone, So i have a play:1 right now and i'm looking at exchanging it for the sonos one. Question: in trying to make my house more smart connected i'm looking at getting a nest or other smart thermostat, maybe some Philips hue bulbs.. We're an Apple house so homekit compatibility would be nice. Will the sonos one work with all this? or will i need to get the homepod, or google home?? I also read that play:1 and sonos one can't be synced to play in stereo? What other info am i missing here?? Thanks

If I set specific EQ settings for my Sonos One, are those settings “stored” in the speaker, or do I need to plug them in separately into each individual controlling device (e.g. my iPad and my iPhone)?

Playbar is connected directly to TV via digital audio/optical connector. I don't have an internet connection yet. When I turn my TV speakers off I get absolutely no sound from the playbar even after I manually turn up the volume on the side of the playbar. But when I have TV speakers set to on, I hear the cound coming from the playbar also.

When I try and unselect the current room that is selected on the app, it unselects, and then I select another room and press done - the old room is still selected. There seems to be no way to select another room. Currently I'm using an Android tablet. I've tried this on another iPhone. Same problem. Is nobody else having this problem?

I have hearing aids that are MFi (made for iPhone). This just means that they are designed to integrate with iPhones proprietary protocol over Bluetooth and audio integrates well with it including music playback and phone calls. The sonos app for some reason utilized Bluetooth while the app is running. I can tell because my hearing aids are setup to automatically decrease its external mic volume when audio streaming is active (so I can hear the streaming audio and external “real world” audio is not as amplified). Every time I start the sonos app, my hearing aids noticeably change in audio profile and the mic volume decreases. Why is the sonos app utilizing Bluetooth in this way?

I have connected playbar and 2x play 1 to my TV, hoping that the sound will be great, however, when I turn the volume up with the tv remote control it goes all the way to about half or 3/4 before the sounds get better, is this normal?

Is there a way to use the Bose 901 speaker active equalizer with the Sonos CONNECT:AMP? I can see no way to integrate it into the system. If not, I pretty much purchased a $500 CONNECT:AMP brick from Sonos.

I have a Sonos bridge, two play1s and a play 5. My current internet connection is through my cellphone (tethering). I'm wondering how I could configure my system so that I can play the same thing out of all the speakers. Is there a way to do this? If not, is it possible to just have them create a mesh network with eachother (plug them into eachother through ethernet). And then use the line in of the Play 5 to repeat to all the other speakers?

Looking for a birthday present for my husband. Want to get started on a Sonos system in the house. We have a very open concept house. Living room, dining and kitchen all open to one another. Ethernet cable only comes in by tv in living room. WiFi throughout but we have century link dsl internet which isn’t amazing all the time. One bedroom on this floor we’d also like sound in. (Potentially one bathroom as well.) **The components needed for this floor is what I’d like to start with.** Eventually we want to be able to add surround and speakers to our family room in the basement. (And speakers to our kids rooms so they can play their own music as they desire.) I’d also like to add a turntable down the road - but am open to either integrated with the sound system in the basement or with the first floor. What do I want to get started? We don’t have any dots/echos by an open to incorporating if that’s what I should do. How far away does the voice pick up w/the Sonos

Hi Friends! Using the SONOS Controller for Mac app (desktop). When new songs start (on any music service), a pop-up window appears showing the song title/artist. I find this very distracting while working. How do I turn off this "notification" feature? Kind thanks! Linh

Power cable or truly wireless?

I'm curious if I can use my Traktor S2 dj turntables with my Play5. Have tried the line in, compressed, uncompressed, but I'm having the delay issues. Will a ZP90 or ZP120 remedy the issue? I've read too many forums and have my self confused. Below are my details and questions. Any input would be extremely helpful! Speaker Locations: 1. 3 zones w/ two speakers each: Kitchen, Dining Room and Back Patio. The wires for these three zones terminate in a utility closet near the kitchen and family room. 2. Home Theatre: 5.1 surround setup, with the two rear speakers in the ceiling. The wires for these speakers all terminate in a cabinet by the TV in the family room. Other / Misc. Info: 1. Family room TV on wall, HDMI wires fished through wall into cabinet with speaker wires, etc. 2. Xfinity / Comcast box is in cabinet. 3. 4K Ultra HD Blu Ray is in cabinet. 4. Outdoor TV on back patio. Has cable running to it and CAT-5 5. House is (mostly) wired w/ CAT-5 and switch is in upstairs closet (this was done by previous owner) 6. CAT-5 is loose-end in utility closet and in TV cabinet 7. I live in Sweden though, so if I buy a Sonos One today I can only use it as a Play:1. Whats the best way to get notified when other countries (such as Sweden) will get a working Alexa on a Sonos One?

Hello, For what I’ve read due to he P5 Gen 1 having 2.5Ghz wireless they are unable to support surround sound with a Playbar for the TV/Movies. Can you advise if it’s possible to connect the P5 Gen 1 via Ethernet to a 5Ghz WiFi router (making the speakers/signal now 5Ghz) and will the Playbar then connect and supports surround sound via a TV? Or if any alternative method will without needing to by the P5 Gen 2? Thanks in advance. Daniel

Hello all, I've got a Gen2 Play 5 which I've connected to the Flexson VinylPlay via the line in cable, however, the VP doesn't appear to be outputting sound to the speaker itself. I've adjusted the line in and double checked all the connections and everything is set up fine. I can stream music and radio stations to the P5 without issue, so I know it's not the speaker. I also adjusted the line in settings in the room settings on the controller, but I'm not getting anything out. I can hear the turntable is playing sound through its own internal speakers at a whisper, but nothing else. Any ideas? Does anyone have a technical support number for Flexson? I can't seem to find any helpful contact information on their site! Thanks, Andy

got a new playbar- connected to TV- sound was AWESOME.... went to add music- now can not get back to the TV volume- all that keeps coming up is " no music" please help:?:?
