Are there size limitations to Imported Playlists? I had one playlist of about 20 that would not import. I. Tried and tried variations to get it to import. Only when I split it in three parts did the Imported Playlist work for those titles. The original playlist I created included about 3500 songs.

I bought some Sanus wall mounts for my Play 1's, and while they're good, at certain levels, the bracket rattles, and the actual mount on the wall vibrates. Im beyond aggravated. Anyone have any tips, suggestions?

I have just bought a bridge (BR100) so that I can create a Sonos network and get the Sonos mesh network setup to all me to reach rooms that are a long way from the router (the concrete walls in the house are not very WiFi friendly!). Buying from eBay I ended up with THREE of them! Is there any benefit to having more than one BR100? Only 1 will be connected to the router but will additional BR100 act as relay in the Sonos mesh network when just plugged into power (ie not connecting to an Ethernet cable)? Thanks

I'm considering using the connect:amp to drive my 20 year old Linn AV5140s. The Linn documentation says the amp must deliver at least 60W/4Ohms. Anyone with thoughts or experience using the connect:amp and older high-end floor standing speakers like the 5140s?

I’m sure that I could turn off the white LED on play 1 speakers but can’t remember how I done it and can’t see anywhere in settings to do it. The led is quite bright on the bedroom speakers and I’m having to unplug them at night. This is a bit inconvenient especially when I want to listen to music in the morning. Can anyone remind me where the setting is. Thanks Mark

Hi - recently bought a Sonos One which I'm very impressed with and inevitably am thinking about getting more. However, I bought it for my small home office which is only 12ft x 8 ft - the Sonos sits on one corner of my desk which is 5ft x 2.5ft. Is it worth getting another for such a small space? I've often read that just a single One fills a small room adequately and I agree but it's tempting to have stereo of course. Or should I just get another for the kitchen?! Any thoughts?

Hello everyone, I’m new. Please go easy on me. I’ve searched and not quite found the right question and answer, so here goes... I have 3 Play:1 units and a Playbar which I’m very happy with. I’d like to use Alexa and was gutted to find that the Play:1 doesn’t have a mic. I understand I can get an Echo Dot for £50 to overcome this, and will then be able to use Alexa to control the speakers. But... does this mean that I’ll need to buy a Dot for every room I want to speak in? Then it would be £150... and I might be better off starting to replace the Play:1’s instead? If I buy a Dot I presume I can connect to my ‘old’ Play:1’s (only bought a year ago or so - sob!) and will have to use the Dot for controlling other smart devices. But if I upgrade the Play:1’s to Sonos One’s bit by bit, I think I will eventually just be able to talk to the new Sonos One’s and never need to get an Amazon device at all. I have noticed that the app on my phone, my wife's phone, the iPad and even the iMac has intermittent connection issues. Sometime it discovers the Sonos system and sometimes it does not. I discovered this today when I was trying to add two new Play1 speakers that I just received. To date I have not be able to add the play1's to the system. I have tried the following: 1.) Reboot router 2.) Power down router 3.) Delete app and reinstall Pretty frustrated at this point.

Trying to find out if it's possible to play a (shuffled) playlist [i]AFTER[/i] a song that is currently playing. Right now, it seems that if I choose to shuffle a playlist, there isn't a "Play Next" option and will cut-off the song currently playing.

At present I say, "Alexa play x on lounge" which works well. Is it possible to default all music output to 'lounge' without having to say it, example, "Alexa play x" and it plays on my Sonos 'lounge' speaker?

As I understand it there’s no way to turn any of the speakers off. They go to “sleep” when no streaming is present. But, why does the status light stay on even when the speaker’s “asleep”. And how can you be sure the speaker’s really “asleep”? Thanks

I own an echo dot and I live in the netherlands. It works perfectly well. The only workaround is I have to tell it I live in the UK. I use it in english set to united states, just to be clear. I can set all these things through the alexa app. If I get a sonos one, will it actually work in the netherlands? I really want this product, and the limitation is silly to say the least. When I try to preorder one it says: --------- Voice control for Sonos is not supported in your country, yet. These features will be available when Sonos and a voice service launch together in your region. I have a Boost system which runs 2x Play One's in stereo, 1x Play One and a Play 3. A little confused at the new development. a) Two ways to make Alexa work with my system. 1: purchase the Alexa/Sonos speaker or 2: purchase an Amazon Echo or Dot. Is this correct, to make all my system work? b) Working with Boost, this creates a "special WIFI system just for Sonos speakers" Will this be ok to work with a) ? I have read everything on here about Alexa etc., I just want to have my system working under this exciting new system. Please help. Thank you.

I just bought another Sonos One to make a stereo pair. I have them less then a foot apart from each other. What is the ideal space that needs to be between them. Also to me I really can’t hear a difference between just one and having two. I might just not do a stereo pair and just put them in separate rooms and group them. Thanks

First thing I'd like to state is that the Airplay device works with a standard speaker connected via a jack to my Airplay Express. I have configured a Sonos Connect called "Airplay", I have connected a Jack from airplay to RCA on the IN on the Sonos Connect. In my environment I also have 3 rooms configured, Kitchen (Sonos Connect -> Amp -> ceiling speakers), Living Room (Playbar and Play:1 x2) and Bedroom (Play3). I want to be able to play music from my iPhone over Airplay to the "Kitchen", I have configured as shown in the screenshot. However every time I close the tab to see if the config has been applied I get an exclamation mark and it doesn't work (see other screenshot). Am I missing something? Any guidance greatly appreciated.

I just bought a Sonos Playbar and a bridge. I have a PS3 connected to a Samsung TV via HDMI. I have no audio issues with Netflix or other apps, however Amazon Instant Video doesn't seem to output any audio. Please advise.

Can Aleksa play the same music both thru the Echo Dot and The Sonos Play 1 or do I need to hardwire them together ?

30 days ago I had never heard of Sonos. So when I heard about the integration with Alexa I ordered a Play:1. Now I learn that the Sonos Play:1 is NOT the same thing as the Sonos One. The Play:1 does NOT have the Alexa built in. I have gotten the Play:1 to work (kinda) with the Alexa but when you do multiroom play with Alexa, the dot I have in my office will not connect to my Play:1. May be, probably is, user error. but sure as heck aint an obvious thing to this old boy. I had to set up an Alexa group (in this case I chose "Office"). If my wife is listening to her music in the living room, and I want to play music in my "office", I have to play from my iPhone as the Alexa Dot says, "Music is already being streamed from another device. Do you want to stream from here instead?", So, one or the other of us gets to use our Prime but not both. And, again, if we share, the Sonos speaker is ignored. We have an Echo in the living room. It's hard to even google this as a search ALWAYS return

When locating the subwoofer, is the pairing stronger (enhanced) when the subwoofer is closer to the Play-base?

We are just getting into setting up a Sonos system in a new home. So far we have a couple of P1's upstairs in a bedroom and a bathroom but now we are trying to decide what to add on our main floor kitchen + living room. They are essentially one space, only separated by a freestanding double-sided fireplace. No wall in between them at all. The kitchen is 20' x 24' and flows right into the living room which is 20' x 16'. So total square footage at about 800 SF. Was considering either getting two P3's and putting one in the kitchen on top of the cabinets and the other in the living room OR getting one P5 and putting it on top of a cabinet that is closest to the living rroom and angling it out towards both the kitchen and living room. Thoughts??

Is it possible (or even smart if possible) to have a 5.1 setup, but instead of having the two Ones as the left/right rear, to have them in the front to the left and right of the TV/Playbar? My living room area just isn't optimal to have two speakers around the couch.
