[b]Can someone please advise how to have Sonos One and Echo units play together? [/b] I bought the Sonos One yesterday and was surprised when that capability was not available. I tried syncing for hours with not success. I could only play one song on my two echo's and a different on on my Sonos. Most likely will return the Sonos One if it's not an option. Is that capability out there? Can someone instruct how to do it? Thank you for your help!

Set up a “sound system” at the office here and in purchased a Sonos Connect and 4 Sonos play:ones (Note: connecting directly to the router/modem is NOT an option at the office) Current set up is: iPad running the Sonos app > to the Sonos connect > transmitting to the 4 Sonos:ones across the office The usualproblem: 1) occasionally one of the speakers will drop off the WiFi at random 2) any time the app gets updated we’ve got to go around and re-add the speakers and connect to through the Sonos app, as if the updates kick off the speakers. The current problem: while attempting to re-add the speakers/connect to continue the service nothing adds the speakers will do their usual thing, the green light appears and when the two buttons are held down and the chime is sound, the green light goes to either a solid red/orange or a flashing red/orange led Help would be very much appreciated - thank you

Is it possible to add a sonos beam as a center speaker which is connected to your amp that has other (non sonos) speakers connected to it? Assuming i could connect the beam to an HDMI input on receiver and assign that input within reciever to output with the rest of the speakers. TV is connected to amp through an optical cord. OR is it better to connect the beam straight to the tv? But not sure I can then play through the center and the rest of the system if TV sdoesnt allow two different sound outputs

Will the Connect products be functional with AirPlay2?

Is there a way to airplay from Sonos One to other airplay2 compatible devices? For example stream a radio station via the Sonos app to both Sonos One and HomePod. I can do it if source is airplay from iPhone, but then phone needs to stay connected.

Is there a way to prevent another user from over riding what is playing already from my phone? For example, if I am playing music from my phone and my son logs into the app on the ipad it automatically starts his music even though it was originally started from my phone.

Hi! I have a Playbar and two Play 3's. I am using the Playbar to listen to my TV sound but sometimes group all the speakers together and listen to music. I would like to make it so my Play 3 outputs the TV sound along with the Playbar. Help appreciated Neven

Spoitfy linked correctly. All was working fine till today. Alexa will not play what i ask from my spotify. If i ask it to play a certain playlist it say "i cannot find [i][/i]playlist [i][/i]in your music library. Spotify has been set as default. I may as well of bought trhe play bar and used the sonos app as alexa clearly does not work as intended on your devices.

Is it worth using my old external graphic equalizer (Onkyo EQ35) with analog-only inputs (RCA) between Sonos CONNECT and Amplifier (Rotel RA-12), or is it better to keep a clean digital signal to the amplifier (with a high quality - Wolfson - DAC)? I'm using an RCA switch to link several other analog line-in sources (CD Player, Turntable, Minidisc player, etc.) to the CONNECT. I was thinking of using the equalizer AFTER those analog inputs before the CONNECT input, but NOT using it for the streaming output from the CONNECT. Is this a wise approach, or should I run everything through the EQ35 before the amp? FYI, Ive got a pretty decent 2x2.1 (4.1?) speaker setup with a pair of B&W 686 and vintage JBL 6" bookshelf speakers with B&W ASW610 subwoofer. I am pursuing a 5.1 surround sound set-up for my medium-sized game room. I plan to get a Beam and Sub as well as an Amp to power two in-wall rear speakers. I know that the Beam can output front left and front right in addition to center; however, I am curious if it is possible to 'boost' the front sound by getting two One speakers for front left and front right while also using the Beam. I understand that the Playbar may be a better option for front sound but I like the look of the Beam better and want the HDMI ARC functionality found in the Beam. I simply ask if it is possible to set up my front sound with a Beam and two One speakers (and still have it sound as it should), not whether it is practical or what others would do.

Need help with connecting Alexa Echo to Sonos (Play 1 and PlayBar)

I'd like to try out the TruePlay settings for my Play systems but I don't have any Apple gear to do it with. Worse I know nothing about Apple products. I found the list of compatible Apple hardware here but I don't know what else would be needed to get it working. If I bought something on the hardware list, cheap off ebay, what would I need to add to that device to be able to use the Sonos app and TruePlay? Is there anywhere cheaper than ebay to pick up a compatible device?

Is it possible to get audio from the analog output and the digital output at the same time on the Sonos Connect?

I have a Sonos One with Alexa. Recently (August 1st) several local radio stations left TuneIn Radio and went to Radio.Com. I added Radio.Com to Sonos. For several days I was able to ask Alexa to play a particular station on Radio.Com, and it would play. Recently when I would ask her to play a station on Radio.Com she would first say something to the effect of "I see that you have Radio.com, would you like to open it? After saying "Yes" she would ask for the station and after I gave the Call Letters, it would start playing. Now, however within the past couple of days, she will say "Playing KRLD on Radio.com", then there is silence. Nothing plays. I have tried different Radio.com stations with the same result. She always says "Playing XXXX on Radio.com, but then nothing plays. Yet, I can go to my Sonos app and it shows that it is connected to Radio.com but nothing is playing on any of my Sonos speakers, including the Sonos One with Alexa. I have read different places online, claiming that the Sonos One will get Google Assistant, meaning you can say stuff like "Ok Google" directly to the Sonos One speaker, without the need of a Google Home speaker. I originally though, Sonos only was going to support Google Assistant so that you can say "Ok Google play xxx on Sonos" to your Google Home speaker, and the Sonos speaker will be able to do so. Which scenario is the correct one?

I have a bunch of sonos one's and a connect (to far from computer to use earphone adaptor). I was wondering if I buy a sonos 1 will i be able to stream audio from youtube from my computer to my sonos system? If yes, Will I be able to select which rooms to play in?

I have just bought the Beam and I am having trouble getting it to work with my LG UHD TV. I've set the Beam up through the Sonos up just fine and it plays music from my phone, but I just can't get the TV audio to play through the Beam. I've used the HDMI cable that it came with and it's connected into the ARC HDMI port, I've also tested it with another HDMI cable and that didn't work. The TV Smartlink is on and I've gone into the sound settings and selected the Audio Out (Optical/HDMI ARC) and still nothing. I've powered everything down and back up again, still no luck. I don't know what else to try... any suggestions?

I have a sound bar, sub and 2 play 1. I just hooked up my PS4 pro and getting a intermittent buzz and the sound will cut in and out, so i turned off the PS4 the buzzing stopped but now the sound cuts in and out on my tv as well

But my question is that van i connect/sync a one and a play 5 together?( i know i cant do a stereo setup qith this but at the moment i just want some bigger sound and if i can sync the 2 together ill purchase a 2nd sonos one in a few months) Thank you so much!

Hi everyone, I am new to the Sonos world and had my beam and 2 x Sonos Ones delivered today and I have a few questions I hope to get some help with. Firstly here is my kit ; Panasonic TXl50E6B, Apple TV 3rd gen, and Sky HD box. I use the Apple TV for Netflix and Amazon Prime. I have noticed that my TV does not seem to support DD pass through. If I hook up the beam to the TV via arc then my two sources have audio but the Sonos about bit in the app detects a stereo signal. What is happening with the Ones as rears in this situation? I have also noticed that if I connect the optical out of the sky box, or the optical output of the ATV straight into the HDMI port of the Beam (using the supplied adapter) then I can get a dolby digital 5.1 signal. This causes the problem that I have to keep swapping the cable around for the two inputs. Also is it okay to have a 5.1 sound when there is no sub i.e. 5.0. Has anyone got any ideas so I can get surround sound out my two ones wi

on a few occasions I have been caught out by my Play 5s coming on stupidly loud when I get Alexa to play something. It would be nice to have a default startup volume that doesn't blow your head off!

If I connect both a Soundbase and a Sub to my router using an Ethernet cable and I add a couple of Sonos One via wireless (same router), Do they sync perfectly? Is there a risk that the Sonos One have some kind of delay? I need to be sure before I bought them.

After updating to the latest firmware my Sonos Connect:Amp does not respons to the line in. It plays fine from the network. I have tried several sources and cables plugged into the line in.

So I wanted to get a Sonos Connect for my TV. And as I've read more about it im starting to understand. I want to hook my Sonos Connect up to my cable box turn off my TV speakers, but if I hook my optical cable to the back of my TV and then to my sound bar will my sound bar play with my existing Sonos speakers? And will it echo is another big concern?
