Every time I use SonosOne to ’play’ the audio from my Apple TV it gets cut off constantly. This happens with different apps (Netflix, Dazn, Crave Tv, Prime video, etc). Considering that could be an internet connection issue I connected the SonosOne via cable to my modem but it did not get the issue solved. It there any way to get this fixed?

I have a room where i have Optomauhd40 projector in the roof in the back of the room. Also at the back of the room i have ps4 pro, 2x Sonos ones and a Sonos Connect. In the front i have the screen and Sonos Beam. Problem is that i cannot connect the Sonos surround sound to the ps4 pro or the projector. I have tried to pull optical line from the connect to the projector and from the ps4 pro to the connect but cannot get it working. I dont want to pull a wire from the beam to the projector/ps4 pro. Anybody who has experience of this situation? I have read tons of writings but still dont have a clear solution for this. Hello! I recently upgraded my television to a newer model and so far everything has been pretty good! I did unfortunately learn that the PLAYBAR does not support DTS which is unfortunate, but it still sounds great! What isn't so great, is despite following the instructions in the LG magic remote setup page, I am unable to register the magic remote with the SONOS app on my iPhone! I register a new remote, and press the volume + button, which is registered within the app. Then it asks me to press the volume + button 3 times, which is registered within the app. Then it asks me to press the volume - button 3 times, which is registered within the app. Then it asks me to press the mute button 3 times, which the SONOS PLAYBAR will not recognize no matter what I do. I believe the LG

My Beam continues to play the audio from the TV after shutting it off with the cable box/TiVo remote. I have it connected via the optical cable into my cable box. I have to either manually volume down on the beam or use the app to mute it. Any ideas?

I have one of my Sonos One speakers not working properly with Alexa commands. It responds ok when I say “Alexa” but does not respond to all commands. It used to work fine, but now it doesn’t. Example - I will ask Alexa to play top hits on pandora and it will fine, but when I say “Alexa STOP or PAUSE” Alexa beeps continues to play. I can only stop or pause if I go into the sonos apps on my IOS device. I have tried to disable and delete devise and reset and reinstall, but same thing happens. Any advice? I have other Sonos One speakers that are working fine, just having issue with this one.

Why wont Alexa play my music everywhere, when I've set up a group called "Everywhere" and tell Alexa "Alexa, play Classic Rock Everywhere".

For black Friday, I recently just purchased a Sonos & Sonance outdoor speaker bundle from Best Buy for a really good price that I couldn't pass up. My plan was to hook the speakers up for an outdoor living room type area. Right now, I just have a portable projector and screen, but I am wanting a more permanent solution with a budget tv installed. Upon researching on these forums, I'm now a bit concerned about the delay that people have experienced with hooking up the Connect: Amp with a tv. My Mars Nebula projector has a delay when I connect it to my outdoor bluetooth speaker and it is really annoying. I've seen posts where connecting the tv to the Connect:Amp with the headphone jack works. However, the tvs I have been looking at, don't have that connection option and I'm guessing I would have to use the optical out and then convert the signal to analog? Should I not be concerned and just install the Sonos/Sonance bundle or should I look into keeping the speakers and selling the

I connected Paybar to TV and two Play:1s in the rear. iPhone music playback I can rattle the walls and music comes out of the rear speakers. But when watch TV I only either hear background noise or none at all. What do I need to buy/connect to my Playbar to get TV voices in the background?

I’m trying to set up the Sonos Beam with my parents new TV (LG 49SK80), the Beam works, but we can not control the volume with the Magic remote. When I try to pair it, Sonos is not even listed as a manufacturer

I know this has been discussed before. Asking for more attention and resolution. Ive posted in an old thread, but posting here in hopes to get some visibilty. Somehow my system had a major hiccup and i lost the voice channel from my front sound bar and my surround speakers were way too loud but playing rear right and rear left channels. They were just uber loud. Nothing was changed since i had performed the trueplay tune on initial setup. I had to borrow a neighbors kids ipod to do it 3 years ago. Im a samsung user and did not have the ability to retune the room. I only had the ability to turn off true play, and it did not improve the problem. Until i located someone with an apple product, my sonos system was completely useless, as well as my entire entertainment system. I love my sonos. I currently own 7 sonos products, but im finding it hard to continue to recommend sonos unless they support devices other than apple. I see this as a system/product defect. Please help with a resolutio

I bought a pair of the Play 1s and a pair of the Ones. Sound quality are same on both systems as advertised. I originally bought the Play 1 pair, then decided I wanted the addition features that come with the SONOS One. I did notice that the SONOS One seems to produce more heat than the Play 1. Not excessive heat, but I don’t know if it is something of concern. I don’t if it is by design either? I’m still under refund period for both pairs, and would like to keep the SONOS One pair. But if I have uncovered a common issue the One then I’d rather keep the Play 1 pair and bring back the One pair.

TV (Model # QN75Q8FNBFXZA) recognizes Sonos Beam via HDMI ARC. However, there is no sound. Have tried numerous times, too many to count, to reset/unplug/replug, etc. Still nothing. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

The Windows desktop controller used to work fine, but it now just displays a square Sonos logo for a few seconds then shuts down without even getting to the point of displaying the main software form. I've downloaded and installed the latest version and have done a full shutdown and restart of my laptop. Any clues?

Hi I’ve just set up a pair of play 5’s (room 1) and a Sonos one (Room 2) but grouped the 3 (they’re all in same large room). I can now get Alexa to play music from Amazon on all 3 speakers when asked. However if I ask Alexa to turn down volume on room 1 (or all) it only works on the Sonos one. Anyway it can adjust volume for the pair of 5’s too? Thanks

Can the new Sonos Amp be used in conjunction with a sonos playbar to create a true 5.1 surround setup?

Is there anyway to listen to radio shows I downloaded through the SiriusXM app through the Sonos app? Let me explain, SiriusXM lets you download some of the radio shows through their app and then you can play them back only within their app but I don't see anywhere in the Sonos app that lets me access those files in the SiriusXM section. Any help would be great. Thank you!

When the TV connected to the Playbar is turned on, The volume is loud, almost defaulted back to either where the music was previously or at a high set level. How do we set a lower default setting so that when the TV is turned off, then back on, The default level is low and not blowing out the neighbors Thanks!

hi, any way we can rename rooms with the Sonos Desktop Version ? I am using Version 10.0 thanks for your reply. f

Hello Sonos people! My current system is a sort of a mess, and I'll do my best to explain it. I really only use it for 2 things, watching TV and whole house tunes when I have company over. I have a Vizio TV in the living room and the sound from the TVs built in speakers are pathetic. So I have it plumbed from my cable box to a basic Sony receiver and listen to 2 Sony speakers wired to that receiver. When I have people over or on the weekend when I want to listen to music, I typically listen to Pandora or Spotify that I airplay through an airport express that is then plumbed to that same Sony receiver and speakers set but I also have prewired outdoor speakers for the patio/ pool area that come from that same receiver. When I have both the outdoor and living room speakers going, the outdoor speakers sound decent enough, but I think the draw kills the power to the living room speakers as they sound like garbage. Maybe the receiver is to blame. Anyway, my mother in law gave us a pair of t

Before the community existed in this form, Sonos had a website where feature requests had a separate status, and could be voted for. Some features introduced back then were based on popular demand. Now, requests are scattered across the community and receive the same (non-)reply every time. I think it would be good to have a separate place on these boards for feature requests, just like the "Ask a question" board. Adding a "me too" button or using the original "like" button, votes could be cast for a feature request. It wouldn't necessarily change Sonos' policy on giving information on the status of development - the previous version of this system even had a "under consideration" and "rejected" status tag - but it would at least give some visibility to highly requested features.

Is the Playbar required to create a home theater system?  Or can a home theater be created with just 1s and 3s?

Not sure if it is a coincidence. I have a pair of Play 5 set as preferred speaker in the living room group. "Play music" would start Spotify and play on the Sonos. But since today Alexa responds with "something went wrong". When I set the Echo (Show) as default speaker it works again, switching back to Sonos (Play 5 and/or Beam) is will result in an error again. I disabled and enabled the Sonos skill, no luck. Anyone else seeing this? Could it be the update, or is that only controller related? Any tips how to trouble shoot?

My tv has an coaxial S/PDIF outlet. Does anyone knows what kind of connection cable I need to connect it to the HDMI input of the Sonos AMP? The cable that Sonos provides has an optical input and HDMI output. I search for a connector with an coaxial input and HDMI output. Does this even exist?

I have a SonosOne and sometimes it simply shuts off by itself after working normally. Is there a setup setting that makes this happen?

My Play 1 won’t connect over WiFi. I have a Sonos connect amp in the same room (with 4 passive speakers in the ceiling) happily connected over WiFi, but the Play 1 just won’t connect. The only way it works is if it’s physically connected to the router but that’s in another room and I don’t want it positioned there. I don’t have a telephone port in the room with the connect:Amp, so I can’t relocate the router to that room.
