Hello! I have Sonos system set at home. I have an alarm set to a radio station to play every morning for the whole day and turns of at night. Whenever my internet turns off for different reason (Provider does maintenance), the sonos system starts the sonos Chime (Alarm) for the whole day. How could I turn the chime off, so when I turn off my internet the chime does not go off . Why does the sonos alarm not try to recconect my radio station? Or please make a different option of turning on radion stations by timer. I am really waiting on your answer ASAP because the sonos chime in getting on my nerves by making its noise!

I've just received the new Sonos AMP. Is there a way of bridging the two speaker outputs into 1 channel, for 1 speaker? With wiring (+) terminal from Right channel and (-) terminal from Left channel. So it is working in mono/bridge mode.

Hello, I have a beam connected to the following TV via HDMI (ARC): TCL - 49" Class - LED - 4 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR Roku TV I can NOT get the visuals to synch with the audio (ie lip synch issues). I have (obviously) tried adjusting the delay under the settings for the Beam on the app, but that only makes it worse. It renders watching tv/movies unwatchable. Anyone else experiencing this/any ideas? Thank you. George

Hi. Just connected my Sonos Beam to my Toshiba 43u6863db via the HDMI ARC. Content via Apple TV HDMI. All working well apart from sound output appears to be in stereo. Settings in Apple TV set to Dolby 5.1. Is this normal or can the Beam accept Dolby sound without additional satellite speakers? Many thanks.

Speech in movies tv are so anoying loud its sounds like broken tweeters you hear the word s like ssss. I have retuned true play few times this dont help.changed treble and speach and clear voice no diffrent Also its on every source. Also the sub level was lover after few weeks that i have turn it up. My other sonos one speakers work fine. The speakers having problems worked fine for the last year but now when I say Alexa all it says is “ I am having trouble understanding you right, now please try again later.” And on my Alexa app it shows the speakers not online. I tried deleting it and rediscovering it with no luck - it discovered them but the problem remains. I tried unplugging the speakers and reconnecting them with no luck either. My music plays fine on the speakers and so does my TV. It’s just that Alexa cannot work.

Has Sonos fixed the MLB audio issue for this year?

When is sonos going to make its system accessible to multiple users? It would be much easier to explain to my wife why I am spending thousands on a system if she could also play music when I'm not home???? Any timeline on this?

I just bourght the playbase and I think it is great. I have a problem, my wife.... Not my wife as my wife, but my wife when we are watching tv. She dosent like when the bas is to heavy, so I have to turn down the bas when watching tv and then up again when listening to music. I have two play 1 as surround speakers and that is a problem too, she dosent always fancy that either, but like it when listening to music. I would like for you people at Sonos to consider making two equalizers, one for the Toslink and one for music apps. Also I would like the surroung setting on off to be on the Toslink and music app on off. Also I would like for you to make the app in android so that it can keep my screen on when using the app. Thx Brian

I'm not a techie person and my Sonos has been hacked - playing someone else music with a scrolling message telling me to subscribe to Pewpiedie and to secure my system: any help???

The Sonos Community does not remember my username and password for very long. When I go to access it the next day I am signed out and have to login again. I wish that it would remember my credentials (despite me checking Remember Me). Is this an issue for anyone else? I experience it on Safari (Apple iOS 12.1) on both iPhone and iPad and also on the latest version of Google Chrome on macOS Mojave.

My laptop hasn't been the most reliable lately, and crashes every time it goes to sleep, and I wake it back up. The Sonos Controller was running during one of these incidents. After rebooting my laptop back up, the Sonos Controller no longer works at all. When I try to launch the Sonos Controller, all I get is the splash screen, and it hangs there indefinitely. I've already tried downloading the latest, removing, and installing the latest version of it. I've also tried clearing out the the c:\ProgramData\Sonos* folder structure, but it just gets re-created at launch. Are there any other places where I can "clean out" any remnants of the Sonos Controller, and install it from scratch?

I am new to Sonos and have a Connect:Amp and 6 x Play:1 speakers (and a Boost). I have set up the amp and speakers as a group (via the iPad Sonos app) and, just as I wanted, I play my iPod music through the amp's line-in to all the speakers throughout the house. I can adjust individual speaker volumes either on the app or on the speaker, but pressing pause on any speaker causes all speakers to pause. Is this the correct behaviour, and if so, how do I pause just one speaker in the group?

I have purchased this Lucky Voice set of mics http://shop.luckyvoice.com/products/lucky-voice-party-box-karaoke-machine-white-mic But am trying to see if I can connect this to a Sonos 3 (or 5) as I cannot connect it to my tv. Has anyone tried this? Do I need to purchase a Connect (zone player 90) as this seems like an expensive way to use it! Thanks

I'm considering getting the new Amp and have a couple of questions: 1) Can the Amp be grouped and play audio sent from a Beam which is connected to a TV? 2) Is it possible to have an RCA input into the Amp, but redirect audio to another set of Sonos speakers without audio coming out of wired speakers? Thanks.

Is it possible to disable Alexa without pressing a physical button on the Sonos One device? I need to be able to disable and enable Alexa without physical contact with the Sonos One device.

Sonos has stopped working since the last update. I tried to reinstall the desktop controller but am told that my OS is too old - I am using Yosemite 10.10.5. I don't want to change my entire OS just for Sonos. Hugely frustrating. Can I get an older version of the controller anywhere to download?

I have a SONOS Connect, which is set up with an Onkyo tuner. The volume control within the SONOS app is set at 100%. The volume on my iphone is also set up to maximum. Here is my problem -- I have no control over the volume at all. Right now it is very very low. When I go to turn the volume up manually through the tuner, a message comes up stating that the volume is pre-set by SONOS. I cannot turn the volume up or down on my tuner and because it is set to maximum on the app as well as my iphone, this is as loud as it gets. Which is horrible. I have to practically sit beside the speakers to hear it. Also, I have tried to hit the volume control that is on the connect and it doesn't turn the volume up or down, only mute works. Have searched message boards and forums and have come up emptyhanded -- other than people saying to turn up the volume in the SONOS app -- which is already at 100%. Help! I am ready to toss SONOS completely.

I have a turntable attached to a preamp, which is attached to a Sonos Connect. It works fine and I can listen to records through Sonos play1s.. but at night when the family is asleep I'd like to listen via Bose QC35ii bluetooth headphones. So I got a Taotronics BA-90 bluetooth transmitter and plugged it into the digital audio out on the Connect.. it pairs with the headphones but still I get no sound through the headphones and still audio through the play1s. What am i doing wrong?

last.fm is not showing in music sources

I currently have the Sonos Playbar, Sub and two Play:1s set up as 5.1 surround. I am thinking of putting a speaker in the kitchen and bedroom. From what I've read you can't replace one of the Play:1s with a Sonos One as one of the rear surrounds. So I was thinking about buying two Sonos Ones and using them as the rear surrounds and placing one Play:1 in the kitchen and the other Play:1 in the bedroom. I have a couple of questions.. 1. Will the Alexa device in one of the Sonos Ones control all of the units(The surround speakers and the individual speakers in the kitchen)? 2.Is it true that you can't use a Sonos One with a Play:1 as rear surrounds? I'd like to only buy one Sonos One and one Play:1 3. Is the sound quality of Sonos One the same as a Play:1? 4. The speaker I'm thinking of putting in the kitchen would be used mostly while preparing meals and listening to TV sound. The kitchen is semi open to the living room where I have the Sonos 5.1 set up. Would there be a dela

Hi I have an Amazon Echo Dot connected to a Play 5 via the line in in my dining room, and two sonos Play one with Alexa is separate bedrooms. I have a spotify Premium family account. The issue I have is that Alexa via the Echo Dot controls spotify (and other music sources) perfectly but with either of the Play Ones I cannot get Alexa to control any music service. I can use an iphone to start spotify on the Play one but Alexa wont stop it playing. All devices are on the same wifi and are logged against the same spotify premium account. Can you help please?

Do we know yet whether the new Sonos AMP supports Trueplay?

Hey community, thanks for your time. We just moved and I set up my Sonos One speaker, changed the WiFi settings etc, Sonos app on my phone is updated already, and so forth. I say "Alexa, play (fill in the blank)". Then Alexa responds by saying she is playing the (fill in the blank) that I commanded, but then there is no audio (the audio volume is not turned off). On my Sonos app, I can click a song option with my finger, and music will play. But again, Alexa voices my command as if she's gonna play music, but then silence. Not sure how to troubleshoot this.

I am form Mumbai, India. I have been using Sonos with Alexa integration till yesterday, until Amazon launched Alexa services in India. To get the local skills I had my Amazon marketplace for Alexa changed from UK to India and since then my Sonos skill for Alexa vanished. I am unable to search Sonos skill on Alexa Skills page. On contacting Amazon, they replied that Sonos hasn't released the skill for India :(. Any clue how can I enable the Sonos skill for Alexa whilst having the location India. Regards, Shanty
