Hi, I have sonos throughout my flat - so not that large an area really. I have two players at separate ends of the flat hard wired. I've started to get an increasing problem of players dropping in and out or coming to multi play late. Help appreciated. Diagnostic test done during drop outs: 363246129

I have been a member of the community for many years but had to re-register when I lost access to an email account. The registration page asks you to tick the Sonos products you have from a list, but does not include any Zone or controller products e.g. ZP100, ZP90, Zonebridge, CR100 etc.. Why is this? Is this an indication that Sonos is going to continue the trend it started with the CR100 and spike all of these products such that they no longer work? I cannot think of any other explanation and it would certainly be in character to try to force earlier customers to purchase new hardware.

Is it possible for me to instruct Alexa to play music to my multiple sonos speakers throughout my home. For example, am I able to instruct alexa to "play music everywhere" and the music comes out of all my sonos speakers?

I have a basic 24 inch Samsung TV connected to our Sky Q mini box in the bedroom - is there a way to produce the sound from this through a Sonos Play 1 which is also in the bedroom?

Hi. I have an unopened Echo Dot and was wondering if Alexa can control my Apple Music like my iPhone app can to my Sonos Connect that is hooked up to my 2 channel system in the basement? I do not have Spotify and also live in Canada so streaming services are limited. Will it work to play my own music at least? Mostly wondering if this is even useful to setup and tinker with :)

Is the Sonos Skill available now? Can't seem to find it but with all the how to's and comments it sounds like it should be.

Searching the App store, there shows but the option for an iPhone or iPad, but not an iMac? The version on my iMac stopped working, so I was advised to remove it and start again.

My sonos play 3 was working fine (about 2 months old). 2 days ago it stopped. the light is flashing green. I've tried switching power on and off. I've re-set my wifi router but still not working. the sonos controller on my PC is not detecting it. any idea as to what I should do? thanks in advance. Simon

I have v 8.3 Sonos Controller on my iPhone. When I go into it, it tells me there is an update. In the past, it would just then update, but now it sends me over to the App Store, where the App Store tells me that I'm up to date and was last updated 3h ago. However, every time I go into the Sonos Controller it says "Sonos update available" with an "Update Now" button that takes me back to the App Store. How do I get beyond this? Do I have to just ignore it until the next update? Not thrilled with it now wanting to force me to the App Store yet not know if it is updated or not.

I have deselected App refresh and 'Automatically check for updates' from Sonos controllers but I still have a menu item called 'Update Now' prominently displayed in the apps. I have tried restarting the apps but it still appears. How do I remove it? I am worried that I may accidentally update the system. Thanks

I frequently find that the spotify app within Sonos not only does not refresh my own playlists, but now I'm finding it's not even loading all of the results on Spotify's own server. For example, search for "Taylor Swift" Her new album Red is available within Spotify, but if you search Spotify within Sonos, it is nowhere to be found.

Need these to pair for surround sound

I added a new Alexa Sonos One speaker to 4 existing Sonos One speakers. Alexa plays music to all 5 speakers with Amazon Music but only controls the volume on the Alexa enabled speaker so I have to use the app on my I Phone 6s to control the volume. I found info in the support pages that say I need to go to the rooms tab and tap group to link them all but the Room Settings in the I Phone App does not give me any such option. Any advice. There is really no point in having Alexa if I have to carry my I Phone around the house to control the volume. Any help would be appreciated.

Couldn't find any answer to my following question in the community so far. Has anyone ever compared the sound quality of 2x Play:5s versus 2x good quality stereo speakers connected to a receiver, connected to Sonos Connect I have a Marantz NR1605 and was thinking about adding speakers in middle to upper range such as KEF Q300 or slightly below. Not sure if I need an additional power amp, but let's assume that not. I'd just be interested if anyone had experienced both and can give an advice. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have 2 x Play:5's One plays ok but just the tweeters. I have tried changing the eq setting to full base and no treble but it still sounds the same. Ther is no change after a restet either. The other Play:5 is working well and has a full base sound. Does this mean that one Play:5 has lost/blown the base speaker?

Time frame for Alexa availability in Canada?

It's been a few months without having [b]*Favorites[/b] listed in the App and I find I use the desktop controller most of the time now as this is the only way of seeing them in a straight vertical list. If they could just be added back as a menu item at the top of the Browse tab in the App that would be great, or even better as an option to replace the My Sonos tab with a *Favorites list?

I hab=ve the above NUVO system and I am trying to replace an iPod dock with a SONOS Connect. Should be as simple as unplugging the dock and plugging that connection to the Connect. BUT all I get is a rhythmic thumping from my system. Any suggestions? I know the NUVO is an old system but it is working OK

Hi I have the sonos one and Alexa just became supported for it in Canada. my Alexa does not seem to respond to any skill command. It only plays amazon music and gives weather / newsflashes. No skills I added are working. secondly, I cannot find the Sirius XM application in the skills menu. Sirius stated that the skill should be there for Canada. So I need help getting the Sirius skill and having the skills work
