I had a soundbar and sub in the living room for my TV. I decided to take the TV out of the room and put it upstairs taking the soundbar with it. I still wanted some background music in the living room so just bought a One to play there and want to use the sub with it. I can't get the sub to bond with the One. I don't understand the Sonos connection instructions to get it done. How can I do this? Also, before I get heat for having only one One, I am profoundly deaf in one ear and am unable to perceive stereo.

I have a playbar paired with 2 sonos ones. Thing have been working well. The playbar kicking in when I turn on the TV. everything is paired correctly I think. I can control the TV/playbar sound with my remote, which is what I want. I could also turn on spotify and control the music and the volume with the spotify app. Also, when I opened the Sonos app I could choose to turn the TV/playbar volume by selecting it in the app, but I would have to select it in the app. However, the problem is that now, recently for some reason whenever I try to adjust my phone volume, or manipulate the volume on my phone it changes the TV/playbar sound. I want to be able to change the volume on my phone, not on my TV. I don't need or want to control the volume on the TV with my phone. For some reason, it is linked. For instance, when I have the TV on the the background and I open up a video or an app on my phone I can't raise or mute the phone or app volume, I can only manipulate the TV / playba

Only getting sound out of one speaker. I can connect to either speaker(while stereo pairing) but can't get both to work at same time. The system had been working well with Wi-Fi pandora and CD player inputs! Any thoughts?

Hi Guys, I use Sonos for some years now and I'm very happy with them. Play:1's in some rooms (kitchen, hobby room, etc.) and a full surround setup in the living room (Playbar, Sub and two Play:1's). Using Echo dot and Alexa, the Sonos One seemed the perfect new investment. And so I pre-ordered a Play One and it arrived yesterday. Starting with using just one Play One as a separate speaker with Alexa was no problem, works perfectly (except Spotify, but that is a known issue). Just like using my Echo Dot. Pairing that Play One with one of my existing Play:1 speakers as a stereo pair, no go. So I went and bought me an extra Play One (yeah why not Sonos, you're welcome...). Pairing these two Play One's as a stereo pair worked fine, but Alexa was kind of confused when I ask something. Seemed like both speakers tried to listen and answer or something like that. So I unpaired them, removed Alexa from one of the One's and paired them up again and that seemed to do the trick

What is the warranty on Sonos equipment? One of my play ones has died

Placement of Sonos beam above tv? Will the sound be just as ideal as the placement of the beam below the tv?

I've seen reference to the Controller 'auto-switching' between 2 networks .... not for me. I have to reset the controller to access the devices on each network. How can I have one controller which detects each network as appropriate?

Hi all. I like to watch the cricket on Satellite TV but listen to the radio commentary through Sonos. The issue is that the TV is 3.0 seconds behind the radio. Is there anyway to delay the Sonos stream to sync up ? Thanks Ian

Sonos app recognizes just one name but Alexa App calls same device Scott's Sonos One as well as Living Room. When asked a question Alexa responds that Living room is not online. Alexa App shows Scott's Sonos One is on line

Saw the release on the upcoming new amp that can power 2 sets of speakers. Can it treat them as two zones with separate volume controls or at least the ability to turn the second set off/on?

I'm running two Amps with an iphone app and windows desk top control. All good until Virgin replaced router last week, now when both amps are connected via ethernet cables causes complete crash of home network and loss of internet, unplug one and it all comes back. I uninstalled the desk top app and reinstalled but all I get is the Sonos logo on the screen and nothing else. Any ideas ?

Simple question hopefully have a simple answer. I've been using Alexa with Sonos since the day it was released, previously if I start playing a playlist from the iPhone App, whether it be music from my NAS, or an Apple music playlist ... if I then say "Alexa pause music on kitchen", it pauses, but if I then say "Alexa resume music on kitchen", it starts playing either the last music requested through Alexa rather than resuming the actual last music being played. OR sometimes says, "Here's a station you might like from Amazon Music ... blah blah blah" .... This ISN'T how it used to work ... it's stopped at some point in the few months. Any ideas anyone ?

Good day, I wish to know if I will be able to do the following, it will decide whether I purchase this product or not. My wife and I have an Apple Music Family subscription, therefore, I want to know whether we would be able to simply say to Alexa, 'Alexa, play x Playlist from x account'. If I ahve to into an app and change the user each time, it's not worth the expense. Is this possible?

I just bought a Sonos one to replace on in my lounge which is hooked up to surround sound. Why can’t I Pair it. It seems ridiculous to buy another Sonos one. Am I missing something here ?

I have recently added an eero Pro Wifi System to my network to improve my wifi performance and replace my ISP router. Unfortunately, there are some Spanning Tree path cost issues between my switch, eero and Sonos devices that I can not resolve. My existing network topology consists of a single core switch with a link to the internet router and multiple links to access switches which are distributed across the rooms in my house. Devices that can be are all wired to these access switches. Some of these wired devices are Sonos Zone Players. Sonos supports its own wireless mesh system so that owners only have to wire in one such device and all the others will be reached wirelessly through that one. However, I have wired all but one of my Sonos devices because wiring is faster and more reliable than wireless. Hi, I have been experiencing substantial delays in the audio emitted from the BEAM when playing video, sometimes several seconds. I have an Apple Mac Mini for streaming content which is connected to the speaker through the wifi network. My display is a projector connected directly to the computer at the back of the room so running a cable from the speaker is not really an option. Are there any tips for reducing this lag? I went to use the Sonos app this evening and was prompted to check for updates. I was directed to the app store which didn't identify that I wasn't using the latest version, so my only option was to 'Open' rather than 'Get' the latest version. This sent me back to the update screen which has left me in an infinite loop of checking for updates only for no update to be found. Any suggestions? Currently running the new (and awful) 8.0 on an iphone 5s running ios 10.3.3. Trying to connect to a Sonos Play 1. Thanks

Hello I just purchased the Beam along with a 65” Samsung NU8000. It is plugged in via hdmi ARC. The remote will control volume playing through the beam but does not indicate a numeric number to ththe volume , I also tried to link the Samsung remote control with the sonos app and that it was unsuccessful , but it does adjust volume regardless of it not being linked, is there any solution to getting volume indicator? Or does sonos need to make an update for this tv?

Hello, I have an Amazon Echo Dot and tried to play music from my phone through bluetooth on it, which worked fine. Anything I played on my mobile would play on Echo Dot. If I add Sonos Play 1 speaker on Amazon Echo Dot, would I still be able to play anything on my mobile/laptop and the sound still coming out from Sonos? Mobile -> Bluetooth -> Amazon Echo Dot -> Sonos? This is for anything played on the mobile. Thanks!

I am a novice user - in fact I must shamefacedly admit I had never even heard of Sonos till I went shopping for a system to allow me to wirelessly listen to music from my analogue hi-fi system in other rooms. On the advice of the salesperson I ended up with a Connect and two Ones. I have set up the Ones (Standard setup) on my home wi-fi. But I can't find any documentation about the most basic controls on the One. Nothing in the documentation that came in the box, nothing on the Android app, nothing on the Support page of the website (which is where one usually finds product manuals). Is there any? My first few questions (I fear there will be more) are * What are the touch controls on top of the One? I guess the one in the middle is a play/pause button, but what are the ones with four dots? * What is the big button on the back for? Hey Everyone, I’m running the latest iOS app and firmware on my Sonos One’s. I noticed that sometimes Pandora’s thumbs up/down buttons are missing from the Sonos iOS app. I can still tell the Sono’s One’s Alexa to thumbs up/down, though. It seems that this happens when starting Pandora via Alexa and not via the Sonos app. Has anyone else noticed this?

I recently upgraded my man cave installing a Marantz SR5012 AV Surround Receiver. Previously I had an old Sony audio receiver (no video) and had no issues with the same Sonos Connect appliance. I connected the Sonos Connect "Audio Out" RCA's with the Marantz "Audio In" RCA's using the "CD" input. I know the Marantz is working fine no issues with TV/Cable, BluRay or gaming inputs (all HDMI connected however, no other RCA's connected) but I am struggling to understand why my RCA connected Sonos Connect audio isn't working properly (appears all is good but no sound). After installing the Connect I am fairly certain the Connect is "connected" to the Sono's phone app as all other indicators appear in order (Connect appliance illuminates the solid white light, plus the appliance play and volume features on the Connect are interacting with the app). I have tried switching the inputs from CD to DVD and still no luck. I am sure this is some audio setting over this guys head so if anyone h
