Will the power cable on the web site for the Sonos Boost also work for the Sonos Bridge???

I set up my speaker 6 days ago and the microphone or alexa has stopped responding. I have unplugged it but no change. The only buttons that seem to work are the volume buttons. All worked perfectly until now.

Removing fuctionality in the PC Controller software makes me quite frustrated. I have to stop upgrading the Sonos software. Way too much bullshit is done because of lazy programmers and idiotic corporate decisions. My old controllers stopped working which was a great way to instantly have Sonos available to all my guests and all children in the house, internal or external. My Samsung tabs are too old to be used. My spare smartphones are too old to run the Sonos software. My previous iPhone are too old to run the software. Come on, Sonos! Wake up to what you're doing to your customers! I will now for the first time in 15 years STOP recommending Sonos to anyone I meet from now on. I've always been a big fan. Not anymore. I'm getting ready to throw everything out for sale to get me something else that I can rely on and doesnt make my day troublesome. Maybe even find something that supports bluetooth as well. Sonos Icon in Windows 10 changed to >|| after latest update. Is this correct?

Using Sonosnet and ethernet connected players. I added my WiFi credentials, that didn't help, so I reset and removed my WiFi credentials. I am using an ethernet connected Boost, a Playbar, and a few Connects connected by ethernet around the house, the rest of the players are wirelessly connected and in About My Sonos, each device indicates WM: 0. Have given each Sonos device a DHCP reservation on the router. Restarting the router sometimes helps for awhile. Toggling the Sonosnet channel from 1 to 6 to 11 sometimes helps for awhile but not for long. Streaming from TIDAL performs the worst, streaming from my own music library performs better. I'm using Xfinity gigabit internet service and have two wireless access points in a small house and moving around the house I get 400Mbps WiFi download speeds. Sonos Diagnostics code 1281242672 . I might sound like an idiot here - but bear with me - I’m listening to a song on Apple Music through the Sonos app and would like to listen to similar sounding songs in a playlist (using a mix of my own library and songs not in my library). Is there a a way to do this through the Sonos app? Through the Apple Music app I would just tap “create station” but I seem unable to do similarly through the Sonos app.

With the recent Windows App update, the background changed from a mellow colour of blue to black. I would like to have control over the colour of the background as I seem to have with every other music app on my pc and phone. Hi Sono’s Community I just bought a house and will be setting up a home theater in the basement. I already have the surround set up of Play Bar, two play 1’s and subwoofer from my condo and love it . I have always been a cable subscriber but was looking into getting Directv. Any issues with Directv /Sono’s combination as far as Dolby Digital and achieving 5.1 surround sound? I have had no issues with Spectrum Cable but there are some really great deals going on with Directv right now. Thanks Dave

I recently found out about the full option where you can play music through the rear speakers and sub. It's kind of annoying that it still comes from the Beam too though and I can't fathom why Sonos hasn't fixed that. Anyway I'm not thrilled with the rear Sonos Ones for music, anyone using Play 5's for rears for better music quality? I find the Ones sufficient for Home Theater rears but wonder what the Play 5's are like for that too. I'm not using them in a big room.

Hello, I was wondering if its possible to setup the Sonos beam (with airplay2) with an apple tv (4th gen) so that the apple tv will use the beam as the default device. I really don't want to go to the bluetooth setting and connect the beam everytime I turn on my apple tv. regards, zimon

I have a sonos beam in my living room and two play 1s hooked up to it. But, I can’t figure out how to adjust the volume of the two plays1s separately from the beam. Every time I adjust the volume is turns up the beam as wel, I just want to turn up the volume for the play 1s separately. I have read that tapping the volume bar allows you to control separate speakers but this doesn’t work for me. Can someone please help? Thanks.

Compared to the old version, I really like the new modern look of the new Sonos controller app. The only suggestion I would like for the next update is the ability to re-arrange the playlists and stations under "My Sonos." Currently, you can only delete and no option to re-arrange. I am using an iPhone 7 Plus with iOS 11 right now and I like how you can long-press "Stations" and "Playlist" to re-arrange. Maybe do a feature like that inside these categories. Other than that, it is perfect for me. I am looking forward for Airplay 2 integration in 2018. Anyone know if the open beta includes Airplay 2?

Excuse me in advance if this is an obvious question or if its been answered before. I would like to buy a Sonos Sub but i wanted to check in advance if this is the thing to do. Here's my configuration...my Sonos Bridge is connected to my modem. Sonos Connect is attached to my traditional wired amp which has four speakers and a subwoofer wired to it. My subwoofer is now damaged and I'd like to buy the Sonos Sub. I've been told that its not possible to have a Sonos Sub communicated with a Sonos Connect. Does it make any difference that I have a Bridge connected to my modem? Would the components work together? Any help would be appreciated! Chip in Toronto

I work at a school and we have 7 speakers in the various classrooms. The speakers seem to want to automatically group, thus music from class 1 will suddenly take over the speaker in class 2. I know it's easy to ungroup, but is there any way to prevent them from doing this to begin with as the abrupt change can be very disruptive?

So as the title says, I am looking to get my Sonos 5.1 setup with (playbar, sub and two play:1 speakers to work with my LG c7 65" oled tv, and with my Xbox One X. Right now the optic cable from the playbar is plugged into the TV, instead of the Xbox One X, is that right? if not, please let me know how I make this work together :) best regards

I control my theater room with Demopad and it includes a Connect feeding into the system. After a lot of reading and learning and much trial and error, I've been able to build a Sonos page within Demopad using UPnP, that shows cover art, a progress bar for the current track, and a queue of the current track + the next three. It also has play, pause and track skip controls. My question - should I be trying to move across to the new API ? Will it give me more control ? Will it make things easier ? This is purely a hobby for me so forgive me if I'm misunderstanding how the new API works.

Hi ! My Sonos remote control device suddenly after5 years was not running or charging, I bought a new battery, apparently it was charging but when I remove from the charging dock, the screen is getting black (when is charging is doing a low noise). What can it happen? Thanks
