I have a turntable attached to a preamp, which is attached to a Sonos Connect. It works fine and I can listen to records through Sonos play1s.. but at night when the family is asleep I'd like to listen via Bose QC35ii bluetooth headphones. So I got a Taotronics BA-90 bluetooth transmitter and plugged it into the digital audio out on the Connect.. it pairs with the headphones but still I get no sound through the headphones and still audio through the play1s. What am i doing wrong?

It sounds like you need to select the CONNECT’s Line-In as its input source, for playback through its output into the headphones. You’ll also need to stop playback of the CONNECT’s Line-In on the PLAY:1s.

I suspect you have the CONNECT’s Line-In set to Autoplay to the PLAY:1s. You may want switch this off.
