TV play bar default volume

When the TV connected to the Playbar is turned on,
The volume is loud, almost defaulted back to either where the music was previously or at a high set level.

How do we set a lower default setting so that when the TV is turned off, then back on,
The default level is low and not blowing out the neighbors

Thanks!

If you're changing the Playbar volume to be higher when you're listening to a non-TV input then that volume level will stay the same when you next switch on the TV.

I'm not sure there is much you can do about it apart from lowering the volume after you listen to non TV inputs.

So adjusting the tv (red bar in setting) in the surround options will have no effect on this?
Thanks!

No, that wouldn’t change the initial volume.
