I have 2 moves assuming I could use/pair them Both with Bluetooth. I have an I phone.Any plans to make this possible?
My Sonos Move goes missing & it’s still connected to Wi-fi. Keep having to reboot speaker.
I’ve read all the other posts and none of the suggestions or documentation are working. I took my brand new Move with me on vacation and trying to connect to wifi. There’s now intermediate wifi sign in at this location. But nothing I do will see my Move. Frustrating because it’s called a MOVE and yet so difficult to move… I’ve taken my play one’s to new locations with no issue.Any suggestions? Mobile app on the wifi, I say add product, it looks and looks and looks and nothing. I try resetting the app, then when I sign in, it does the same.
I am adding a Move. The app finds it and then has me shut if off, turn it on, and then takes a couple of minutes searching. It next takes me to a page “wireless setup” and “Go to accessory page” on the bottom. The app locks up there and won’t do anything else.
Was on the deck last and after 2 or 3 hours the battery level indicator started to flash red. I read that this indicates a ‘fault condition’. Does anyone know what that means, and what would trigger that? Is it a fatal condition? thx.
I want to pair a Sony Nwa 55 with my Sonos Move. I put the move in Bluetooth mode, hold the wifi Bluetooth switch until the led flashes blue. The move doesn’t come up in the Bluetooth menu of the Sony. This is the reason i bought the Move. What can i do to solve this?
I bought a Move over the weekend. I charged it to full and then used it for a couple of hours. I turned it off when I was done. I went to use it this morning and it was dead. I placed it on the charger and it lit up like it was charging, but it doesn’t seem to be charging. I tried I tried the dock for several hours and using the USB-C option for a couple hours and it still doesn’t turn on. Tried both options in multiple outlets. I get the little charging light anytime I move or unplug it. It’s listed as “offline” in the app, so I can’t go in and mess with any of the settings. I don’t think I can reset it because it won’t even turn on. Anyone else run into this and able to fix it or is it a hardware problem (i.e., a dud)?
Hi, I can't charge my sonos move anymore. I tried with the charging base, the orange led lights up, goes out and then, nothing. I also tried to charge it with the USB-C charger and it was unsuccessful too (no light at all). I only charged it a few times so the battery doesn't need to be changed yet up to me. As it is out of charge, I also can't reset it. Anyone can help? Thank you so much in advance!
Just got a new MOVE. It worked right away with my current WIFI nework, and with my other Sonos speakers. Then I tested it on bluetooth, and that also worked fine. However, after that, I can not get it to switch back to my WIFI network from bluetooth. It’s stuck in bluetooth! Can’t get it back on WIFI by pressing the join button as instructed. Can anyone help me switch back to my wifi and Sonos system?
i can't create A surround set up with my beam and 2 sonos moves, ik can play tv sound on al of the 3 devices but then they dousnt sound equal to echt other... what can i do or is this just a set up that just dosn't work?
Hi. I am trying Apple iphone 8 to airplay 3 mirroring content to viewsonic projector( fr iphone 8 ) with the audio bluetoothing to sonos move Can this be done? Not sure if this is an airplay or sonos question or both thanks!
I have recently upgraded my Play 5 to a Move. The Move is situated in the same position as the Play 5 was, in the conservatory. I also have a Playbar and a Play 3. Due to network issues there is a WiFi extender in the conservatory. The extender provides exactly the same network and log in details as the main router. The Play 5 worked perfectly well in this location. My issue is that if the Move speaker connects to the extender then it disappears from the App. Do I need to alter a setting to overcome this problem? If I cannot connect via the extender then the Move will not work as intended.
Hi. I’ve recently started using a new mesh router. I’ve managed to hardwire all my speakers except the Move without problem. However the Move won’t use SonosNet. However i can’t connect it to my new network. I’ve tried factory resetting but for some reason it automatically reconnects to the old network and I can’t work out how to stop it doing so! Any ideas guys?! Thanks!
Just changed to a new router and two of my SONOS Move can’t find the new network. On the instructions it shows: “Conncet to ‘SONOS’ Wi-FI , then return to the app”But the network doesn’t show the ‘SONOS Wi-Fi’Since Move cannot be connect to ethernet cable, so I can’t try the alternative way eirher.I also tried to factory reset the two Move and reinstalling the app, but both didn’t work. Please help:)
I have an Arc, 2x 1st gen One’s, all hardwired, plus a Move, all running 12.1 60381140. Until I setup the Move, I had never configured WiFi credentials to any of my Sonos equipment, and for some asinine reason I had to enable WiFi on a One before the setup would even acknowledge I had a Move to add. After configuration, WiFi has been disabled on all wired devices and everything has functioned as expected.I now need to change the SSID the Move connects to, and the iOS App again refuses to begin searching for WiFi until at least one of my hard wired devices has WiFi enabled. This is mostly venting of the stupid precursor steps required to get to the real problem I’m posting.I have the new SSID setup, every other device has been updated with the new credentials and is functioning as expected. The Move connects to the old SSID just fine, but searching for the new SSID using the iOS App (S2, 12.1, 6038140) fails to authenticate. I don’t even see an attempt on the AP, it’s just silently fail
Hello! I have a Sonos Move (as well as a few other products). Everything used to be set up just fine, with the Move in its own group. Recently had some issues and had to replace a lot of electrical wiring in the house and the axial cable to my modem got fried. Replaced the modem and router.Everything is set up on the new network, except the Move. I have tried rebooting the move a couple times. But still when I try to get it into setup mode, the light goes solid orange, never flashes green. Additionally, my Sonos app seems to have forgotten the Move was ever there. Is this a hardware problem?
Dear all,I have a Move and I’m unable to charge it.I used the charging base provided by move but the battery always remain at 0%I bought Move this year so I don’t think that I need to change the battery.anyone with the same issue? thanks
Move has worked fine for several months and has just stopped working altogether. No LED lights are on. I have tried the reboot, plugging into a regular outlet, etc. All I’m getting is a solid red light on the lower front LED that goes out after a few seconds of sitting on the charging ring. Move does not appear in my app.
At a rent by week cottage and attempting to setup a Move on a wi-fi, it fails to complete. One article says the Move cannot be setup on a guest wi-fi network. How do I know if the wi-fi I'm trying to connect to is a guest one, and that's why we can't connect, or some other problem is in play?
I picked up a brand new Move. Followed the connection instructions for WiFi. It connected and it shows up in the Sonos App. Works fine when using the App. When I press the MODE button on the back to switch Bluetooth, nothing happens. It does not beep or chime. Further, I’ve tried holding it down for pairing. Nothing. No beep, chime or blue light on top. Also, Move is supposed to be AirPlay 2 compatable, it does not show up on the list of devices. Any ideas on how to get these things working are welcome.
Hello team, I was trying to use my SONOS Move via airplay through my Ipad and Iphone and it’s not working, it keeps saying connecting and then says connection failed. Tried to restart it, restarted my phone and ipad and it is still not working. Any ideas on how to proceed on this one? Since the Sonos App 2 doesn’t allow the option to hard reset the device I don’t know how to proceed.I am using the Apple Music app, it works on Spotify, but I don’t use that app. Please provide any help over here and I will be thankful for a lifetime :)
I moved the Sonos to a new house/wifi but am unable to connect. I have tried the app and after recognising the Sonos Move, it asks me to enter to details of the wifi to which it should be eonnected to and then after a while, it says there was an error and couldn't connect. I have tried reinstalling the app on the phone, tried the app on a different phone, tried keeping Move next to router, reset Move etc etc with no success. I have also tried installing the old Sonos S1 app and tried but without success. Any ideas on what I could do/try?
I have had a sonos move for 2 weeks (since 04/07/2020) and until yesterday all appeared to be working fine. This morning I noticed the Move was no longer showing on my App. However, I could play music through it using Alexa. I searched on the forum and one of the suggestions was to re-set by opening off for 5 seconds then holding the connect button until I see the orange light. I have done this and the app finds the “new” product and gets to the wireless set up. I have entered the correct password but it is not able to connect to the WiFi for some reason. I then deleted my WiFi network from the App and set it up again and all my other speakers are happily connected. I reset the move again and went through the same process, ensured the password was correct and still unable to join. I am now unable to even play through Alexa. Also, The move is 2 meters away from the Router so I don’t think that should be causing the issue. Please help! Diagnostic: 134107060

I have been using the Sonos Move for almost a year and recently purchased the Playbar. I love both of them but they can’t seem to pair. Is this a known issue?
