Hi, my Roam is one-year old, I cannot switch it on anymore. It’s supposed to be charged, when I charge it, the orange LED is on for 5 seconds, but nothing happens when I press the button on the back to switch it on (no sound, no white LED on the front). Any idea what’s happening?
Has anyone found a solar panel that will successfully charge a Roam?
Sound goes on & off this started happening prior to an update of about a week ago. Nothing has changed with location of the Beam & SL Roam
I have two ones sl stereo paired + sub mini and two roams sl stereo paired. All playing in my living room for music listening. I still have three amazon echo arround to call for music playing through sonos exclusively. Since I want to add two more stereo paired roams sl in the same area, would it be convenient to get roams with mic and remove all amazon echos? Will sonos be as good for listening to commands as amazon?
Where on Sonos 2 do I press the button when the app says ”Make sure the light on your Move 2 is flashing white and green, then press the buttons on it to continue.”
I have a Sonos Roam. I use it as a speaker for my iPhone15 and both are relatively close together and to me. Sometimes there’s no problem. There’s a blue/white light next to the Sonos name and I can connect thru Bluetooth and play my music without an issue. But then I try to do it again and there’s a little red light on the opposite front area and it won’t connect - very irritating. For instance earlier today I played music thru the Sonos just fine = then tonight, tried to reconnect and play again, - no more white/blue light, the red light was there, plenty of power/battery and it is listed in my Bluetooth settings but isn’t found. I try to go thru the connections to the ‘system’ which doesn’t work. Then just now it’s on and receiving the music and all is fine. I just want to have it be a reliable speaker.
Hello, I changed my WIFI setting, and now I m not able to register Sonos Move in Wifi. While using the Sonos APP, I pass the stage of Audio-Pin, then Sonos Move’s Led, goes blinking White and Green, and is asked to press the infinite Button. But that press is never recognized by the App, and the led keeps blinking white and green. Is my infinite button not working? what can I do? br
I am thinking of buying a pair of Move 2. I know that the charging ring has been updated. Is there any compatibility between the two rings?
HelloI've just bought the Move 2. Its fully set up amd working but I had planned to use this whilst travelling in locations I will not have any WiFi or mobile reception. I find Bluetooth connection unstable so wanted to connect my phone via line-in so the Move 2 plays my downloaded Spotify playlists. Is this possible? I've tested the set up by switching off my WiFi/mobile data and playing a downloaded playlist bit the audio only comes out my phone, not the sonos speaker. Any suggestions?
Hi Everyone,I just bought Sonos Move 2 and set it up yesterday. Everything worked fine. I set up Alexa and made it use Spotify for playing music.I came from work today, said Alexa play music and it didn’t work. Alexa is answering that it starts playing this or that but there is no music. I tried to remove Spotify from Alexa, Alexa from Sonos app but nothing worked. I can play music via Spotify or Sonos apps on my phone. I tried to add Apple Music to Alexa but it’s the same. It says “Playing X on Apple Music” and nothing happens.Any tips how I can fix it?

Sonos Move is set up with other (wired) Sonos speakers and soundbars in an Alexa group called “downstairs”, controlled by an Echo Dot with a clock. System used to work flawlessly but lately when I ask Alexa to play music, the Move does not play. It will only play if I ask Alexa to play SiriusXM. If I ask her to play any other music (Amazon, Apple, etc) all the speakers play, EXCEPT for the Move. I’ve performed all the suggestions such as disabling/enabling the sinus skill, logging in/out of both the Sonos and Alexa apps, etc etc. I don’t know what to try next? And I don’t understand what changed to make it not work anymore. Help?

Can Sonos Roam have wired audio in? I assume it can, via its USB-C port and a 3.5 audio jack to USB-C adapter. The same way as smartphones, essentially. It should just be some software business. Comments?
My Sonos roam will not connect to Bluetooth. We have tried my phone and my friends. The roam does have battery and I even plugged in too just to be sure. Why won’t it connect?
I have had a Roam SL for 17 months and it was great. My wife tells our friends I carried it throughout the house like a little kid does a blanket. Most of the time, I returned it to the charging base within a couple of hours, never more than 8 hours.Christmas day I was listening to Sonos radio waiting for guests to arrive. When they came, they asked to watch football so I stopped the Roam, but did not return it to the charging base. The next morning I went for my Roam but it was not on the charging base. I located it and returned it to the base. When I got home from work, there were no lights on the Roam after 9-10 hours on the charging base. I checked the Sonos app and the Roam was listed as “not connected”. The next day I tried using the USB-C port to recharge my Roam. The Orange battery light came on and after a while the white light by the Sonos logo started blinking, I was hopeful that it would come back to life, but the battery does not take the recharge. As soon as I unplug the
Hi there,My Sonos Move and its charging base have melted at the contact point between the unit and the charging base. As a result, I’m no longer able to charge and use my Move. Seems like a few occurences of this issue have recently been reported on the same contact point (the right one at the back of the unit)… I’ll be contacting their Support Team shortly but I still wanted to share this with the community for visibility.
Moderator edit:Google Translate- I'm trying to reset my Move 2 speaker: I turn the speaker off, turn it back on, press Bluetooth and the white light flashes but doesn't change to red... It keeps flashing white. Why doesn't it work? Did I miss a step?
Hoping to get some clarity from the community on how painful this is supposed to be…I am travelling with a couple of Sonos Roam between my home and various office locations. I’m one of few very oddball people that like STEREO, you see. And I understand that the roam is intended as a Bluetooth MONO system when roaming, but since I am a difficult customer I tend to hook them up using the Wi-Fi network to get STEREO. Like we have had since the 1930s. So far, this has required a factory reset of the speakers EVERY TIME to connect to a new Wi-Fi network. Today I contacted support and asked how to do this without factory reset, and was told that this was not possible, I needed to factory reset. Pain. The experience at every location so so far has been, step by step:Start Sonos app, it finds the system missing and select the change network option. Attempting to find the system fails with “Sonos not found”. Surprising, since it's already connected via bluetooth, but apparently it's incapa
New ROAM speaker fully charged on SONOS charging pad and the bottom light continues to blink orange slowly (stops when I remove from charging base). I don’t remember the Previous Roam speaker I had doing this…is this an “issue” or just an indication of being on the charging base?
Brand new Sonos move 2 won’t charge regardless any type of power input. I tried resetting it and the battery remains at 13%. Is this a common hardware or software defect of the move 2 or did I get a dud?
Sonos making a hissing noise when playing sounds
Can i play hi res music on Sonos move? Can i connect an ipad or iphone using the usb c connection?Moderator edit: edited for readability.
The battery of my Roam when not in used, drop dead after one day, is it normal
Hi!I have a recurring issue with our Sonos Roam.It is populated with lots of episodes of a children’s series. The idea is, that our daughter just can press play when she wants to listen to it.The Roam is connected to power all the time.Battery saver and WiFi Power save is on, but this does not make a difference. What happens is as follows:Every few days the Roam shows up as „not connected“ in the iPhone app. As such, I cannot control it from the app anymore.Pressing play just plays a click sound and the left LED flashes white twice. It does not start playing and does not wake up (i.e. still not connected in the app). When pressing the button on the back, it plays a two note chime, still nothing happens. The only thing that helps is holding the button on the back until the turning off chime plays - waiting a few seconds and then turn the Roam on again by pressing the button again shortly.I made a short video, that shows the behavior:Any idea or help is much appreciated!
