I have a strange issue: I cannot update my Arc to version 15.3, from version 15.2, I have 2 Era 300 speakers, and a Sub 3rd gen. I have even tried manually but the update fails with error code 6. I have my Arc wired to the router. What should I do? I even tried restarting the Arc but to no avail

No HDMI ARC, or optical output that I can see.

Hello, I recently bought a Sonos Arc to complete my installation. So now, I have 1 Sonos ARC + 2 HomePods + Apple TV 4K, but It seems when I connect Sonos Arc + HomePod through AirPlay I don’t have Dolby Atmos on my Apple TV 4K.Is it normal ? There is a solution to bypass this error ?Thanks in advance for your help

Can my S1 Playbar be hooked up to a TV as well as be part of a separate wireless group? Right now it is part of a wireless Sonos group that plays line-in input with a stereo pair of two generation 1 Play Fives. I want to keep that functionality but possibly also hook it up to a Sony 4K TV. If this is even possible… What will be involved with switching between the two setups? Thanks in advance.

Hi guys!I have a really strange issue with my bedroom set-up. It's an older Philips 32” lcd TV connected to my Sonos Beam soundbar. When watching TV the sound is swaying, it sound like an old VHS tape that changes speed, it's especially noticable when there is music during film tv-shows. At first it was a bit of an nostalgic feeling, but lately I've gone tired of it 😂 Does anyone else experienced this issuez and have a solution?

Hello to all,i would like to ask your suggestions since I can’t try the positiong without drilling holes. As in picture, I have the SUrround placed on the couch that is against the wall.Horrizontal position:ideal position is having the left one at the same distance than the right one from the listener ears (in this case i should re position the left speaker at about 150 cm far, correct?Vertical position:I have read that they should be ideally 60 cm above the head or at “ear level”So wich would be better having a 250 cm ceiling height:-place them at ear level ( in my case 90 cm height)-place them at mid wall (125 or 150cm) so that the upper driver sound bounces back to me having less distance (125+125+35=285cm)-place them at 125 or 150 cm up side down so to have the upper driver firing down and not bouncing on the ceiling Thanks for the reply

Hello, I have an arc+one +sub gen3 when listening to YouTube video the ones are not heard, I already have music play back full configured and some YouTube videos show me that it is in pcm format and others in 5.1, I have a Chromecast I have this problem only with YouTube

Hi i just connect a sub mini to my beam 2, but have a question. Does de beam 2 automatically sent the lows frecquency to the sub mini and dedicated only to the highs and mids? Abd what EQ recommend?

I am using Sonos amp to provide TV sound to wired Kef bookshelf speakers.  When switching from Spotify music to TV the volume always defaults to zero.  I have to turn volume up every time.   If I just watch TV and turn off and on the app holds the last volume used.is there a Sonos solution that will hold TV volume when switching inputs?

I’ve been growing my 4k movie collection and one of the most frustrating things to have a reference quality audio track but it’s not decoding its full bandwidth. Is this a hardware limitation? Does Sonos have any plans to add this support along with dts x? I know many cheaper less than soundbar systems with dts x support.

Hi, I have the playbar for the tv and play ones added for the surround, the sound is still coming from the speakers, but I can no longer use the remotes for adjusting the volume, it still works with the app though, anything I can do to fix this problem ?  Thanks

Hi All, I wanted to revive a topic from a few years ago about trueplay “loosing” a speaker during tuning. I upgraded my family room setup with an arc that replaced a beam. I went through the steps of disconnecting the surround and sub from the beam which I loved to another room. I then added the arc and the associated surround components. When I listen everything seems to be playing. However when I go to tune I get a “lost speaker” as shown on the screenshot attached. I went through multiple total reboots of my WiFi and the speakers per previous suggestions but it doesn’t seem to help. I submitted a diagnostic 137804396. Any insight would be appreciated!!

We've just got our first Sonos speaker (Gen 2 Beam) and are trying to connect it to our Toshiba 32ll3c63db TV.We're at the point on the app set up where it says 'use your TV remote to turn on audio out in settings'We have changed the audio output to HDMI ARC but it just says audio out is not connected l. Any ideas?!

Hello everyone,I bought the Home cinema setArc / 2x sub mini / 2x Era 300I bought  2 sub mini because one big sub doesn’t look good (and because I can’t hide it ) in my living room.My question is, will there be an update to install 2 sub mini’s to my Arc?

Just my IPhone disconnects from my beam at least once a day when I use it.  I have it connected to my tv but it is through wire and is fine.  I have reboot my Sonos many times for this and I shouldn’t have to do this all the time.  I have everything up to date that will allow me to update.

We are experiencing a annoying bug in our amp.Almost every morning when I switch on my tv the amp works only on the left channel.Already tried to reset the tv, the only workable solution is to unplug/plug the amp. Thanks in advance.

H. Is it possible to Set up my home theater system wired speakers as wireless and get full existing functionality?#it is 11.1 surroundI see i can pair devices to it but i thought there would be some clever wifi hub or Bluetooth switching I could use

How to spot the Fake Sonos Sub 2 or 3 ? Please help me.I trying to buy the pre owned Sonos Sub Gen 2 for my Arc set up but slightly confused.

I've seen LG are selling a product called WOWCAST which allows you to plug into your TV, out of sight, and replaces the HDMI connection to your soundbar wirelessly. Giving you a clean, clutter-free style, with no unsightly cables between TV and soundbar. Is WOWCAST compatible with Sonos Arc (which i own)If not compatible is there any other product that allows this wireless connection to a SONOS Arc ?

I thought it was my tv that caused the error and bought a new one. But the problem is also using that tv. So the error is caused by the Sonos Beam. The Beam is now unusable.

Hey, I have a strange issue with my sound on Arc when I’m watching/using specific apps on my TV.If I’m watching Youtube on my TV I keep losing sound every cca 30min for a couple of seconds and after that its back on. I can't guess what is causing it, because this happens just in a couple of apps and with others everything works flawlessly. There also no issues when I’m listening/streaming music directly to Sonos without TV.I was testing Youtube app like so that I switched back to TV speakers and after that there were no issues with the sound.Even don’t know if I can submit diagnostics if this happens every cca 30min? Problematic apps:Youtube T2 (local tv programs) Voyo (local streaming service)No problems with apps:Netflix HBO Amazon Prime Disney+TV model: Philips 75PUS8506

I recently added an era 300 to my house, I have the Arc in my TV room. I wanted to pair these two to create a surround, arc in the front with tv and the Era300 behind me, but the app wont let me pair them as “surround”!.Do I have to own two (2) Era 300 to make this work?

Buenos días. Estoy barajando la posibilidad de adquirir una barra de sonido para la televisión y me gustaría saber si por sí sola supone una mejora notable del  sonido o es necesario adquirir dos altavoces traseros irremediablemente.

Is there a fix for this infuriating high pitched noise? please help!
