Hi, I have a Sony tv remote using Bluetooth but it won’t connect to my Sonos Soundbar using IR via Sonos app. Any resolution? TV is connected to sound at using optical with no problem hearing sound just cannot connect to tv remote.

Most TV’s with a bluetooth remote can be programmed either to emit ir themselves or to have the remote emit ir.

Hi, am not very technical so when u mean Bluetooth remote can be programmed to either emit ir, what shld I look for or do so? I am holding a tv remote for Sony tv.
Look in the manual for the TV set, and see what it says there about how to switch off Bluetooth, and turn on IR (infrared).
