I bought a refurbished Sonos beam gen 1. I set it up but noticed that I can’t seem to airplay to the beam. It shows up in the AirPlay list but I get an error when I try to connect to it.

The beam is connected to the network via WiFi. Previously via ethernet and I had the same issue.

I’ve rebooted the beam, my router, modem, phone etc.

I’ve reset the beam a few times and no luck.

I’m on iOS 16.4.1 and the Beam is on 15.3.

in my network I also have a HomePod mini that I can AirPlay to successfully. I previously had a Sonos Ray that I could AirPlay too just fine too.

Anything else I should try this weekend before reaching out to support next week?

Not that I can think of, other than running a diagnostic before you call in.
