I have a strange issue: I cannot update my Arc to version 15.3, from version 15.2, I have 2 Era 300 speakers, and a Sub 3rd gen. I have even tried manually but the update fails with error code 6. I have my Arc wired to the router. What should I do? I even tried restarting the Arc but to no avail

Power down all Sonos, reboot the router and power just the Arc back up as a first try.
I did all that but nothing happened
Odd. That suggests something blocking the ability of the speakers to reach out to the update servers to download the new software. Perhaps a VPN, virus protection package, port blocking, it is hard to tell?
I’d suggest that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.
There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.
