Ok, before you start typing "it is a local problem".... my answer is "I know!" So I recently bought an S24Ultra and have been using the Sonos app on it. The application does most of the things. But what I have been struggling with since day 1 is that when I try to add GoogleAssistant to my speakers, the application will try to launch the GoogleAssistant application and stay without launching it.I thought that maybe it had to do with the fact that I am using Gemini, so I switched the phone back to Google Assistant. But no use.I checked and made sure that all the rights are set correctly for the sonos App.At this point I have to grab my old Samsung S3 each time that I want to add the GoogleAssistant to a sonos speaker. Anyone else experiences this?Any solutions?
I have Sonos system containing two Sonos One and one Sonos AmpGoogle Assistant have worked great together with my Sonos One for the last three years. Suddently out of the blue a “Sonos TV control” apears in my Google Home App. When I ex. call Google Assistant to switch off my Sonos One, it fails, and tell me there is a error with my “Sonos TV control”.First of all, I dont have any “Sonos TV control” installed nor any TV speaker and I don´t know where its coming from or how its suddently apears in my Google Home app. After two months of investigaing I now know its coming from my Sonos Amp.How can i remove/disconnect to this “Sonos TV control” in my Sonos Amp to get my Google Assistant workning again?
As of November 20, after a long power outage of 12 hours, I noticed the following:Google Assistant (GA) vanished - first noted with inability to turn on microphone, verified on Sonos App, on the Sonos Beam Gen 1. Any attempt to re-add GA via either android or ios fails with different symptoms depending on the OS. Android will not be able to locate any google assistant capable device in the ‘google assistant’ phase post linkage (SSO/OUTH) between google ↔ sonos; IOS will get there error message ‘There may be a problem’. Verified no former linkage exists in Google Home. I added / removed the SONOS voice control successfully so the Beam is not mechanically challenged.I’ve reviewed threads, cleared the beam to factory defaults and rebuilt, rebooted the router / sonos devices, all to no effect. All Sonos devices and controller are up to date. Still, no ability to add Google Assistant to the beam.I’ve seen an email thread from three months ago that the GA feature / addition is curr
How is it that after a year this still isn't working?
Ich möchte bei Aktivierung von Google Assist einen Anfangston einstellen. Wo kann ich das Problem beheben?
I have a Sonos Beam that I am trying to get working with GA. Have followed all the instructions added GA within the Sonos app. Gone into GA and checked names, set default speaker etc.Beam/GA recognise voice commands as it comes back and tells what it is going to do. Then it comes back and says it looks like Sonos isn’t available. Doesn’t mentioned the name of the speaker I have told it to play through. Have tried renaming the room and speakers within Sonos App and GA. Always the same Sonos not available. At the moment I only have Sonos speakers in one room. A Beam and two One SLs. So wouldn’t have thought much scope for confusion as to where it was supposed to be playing.any suggestions. Family is so used to using GA to stream audio in other devices I would like this to work.
So today I ran into an odd issue with both my Move and Roam, when I go Hey google play XXXX on Pandora. It will respond playing XXXX on Pandora, then silence. Same thing happens when I say play XXXX on YouTube music. It will response playing XXXX on YouTube music and then silence. If I go into the app on my phone and select what to play, it will start playing on the speaker.Losing the ability to have music play via voice command just started in the last day or so. When asking the google assistant about weather and such, it will respond as expected. It seems to be just with playing music currently.I’ve tried rebooting the devices, no change. I removed google assistant from the Move and no difference. I’m not sure if this is stemming from a larger issue I’m having with Sonos and google assistant where when Pandora is playing I can’t use voice commands to like a song, again I need to go into the app to do this.
Hi, I have purchased a Roam today which is supposed to support Google Assistant. It is the Roam, not the Roam 2, and even has the ok Google branding on the box. When I go into the Roam settings, under voice assistant, it only has 2 options, Sonos Voice Control and Alexa. The instructions say it should show me Google Assistant as well. Am I missing a step somewhere? Thanks
How do I enable Google Voice Control on the ARC Ultra? If it's a regional issue, how can I change the region settings to make it work?
Hi all, I have a google assistant set up on my system and it looks like I can broadcast from my Move and Roam but I can’t here the broadcasts from them. I’ve tried setting up the ‘default music speaker’ under the sonos app which then loads up the google assistant app. But it doesn’t work.Is there something I’ve missed?
As the caption reads, I have an issue with the Google assistant making the volume go to the max setting despite what I tell it. For example: if I say “Hey Google set the volume to 9%” the volume will be set to 100 and then I have to scramble for a remote so I can lower the volume quickly. Despite the volume level I set the Sonos to via the Google Assistant, it’ll always set it to 100%. I’ve removed and re-added the Google Assistant and that fix only works for 1-2 days. It’s really irritating that this is going on and it’s incredibly inconvenient as well. Makes me want to throw away the entire Sonos setup I have and go with a comparable setup from Bose. Sonos….get it together already.
Moderator edit:Google Translate- I add a new Roam to my existing system, it is recognized. When installing the Google Assistant, after asking me to open the Google Assistant application, I arrive at a waiting screen with a spinning wheel that tells me that it will take a few minutes, offers me to try again or cancel. It never works, however some
Hello, after few hours of research, I eventually came to the conclusion that google assistant is not supported today on Era100. - https://support.sonos.com/fr-be/article/set-up-the-google-assistant-with-a-voice-enabled-sonos-product this is really disapointting, I expected that feature set when buying the devices. Anyway, damage is done.I read somewhere that it is on the roadmap to support it, can you share any ETA? that would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance
Since Yesterday I have lost Partielly then completely all connections to Google assistant. It stated from 1 of my Sonos One, then it extended to a Roam.... I restarted my router and all devices but no joy.It king of worked with e Roam for a minute then went south again after I reconnected a One...Removed all links to Google assistant in Sonos and Google Home.BTW, Google Home only sees a few Sonos devices, not all of them.... Odd.I have then tried to add the service back but it just never manage to do it First attempt after phone reboot takes me to home assistant config and it ends-up not finding any device. If I try again, the Google assistant never shows again, there seems to have a hidden window of it but nothing I do can make it show. I tried this on 2 different android phones, same results. I am now stuck with no assistant at all. Alexa won't activate and So is assistant just did not want to finalize the setup either..… Seriously WTF is goi g onnat SONOS. The giant connected speaker
Problems here too with Sonos and Google Assistant. I have 2 x pairs of One (Gen2) and an ARC with 2 x One (Gen2) surround. All OK until yesterday when Google Assistant stopped working on both pairs of One - remains silent when `Hey Google` spoken, as if it’s not listening. Tried reconnecting account in Google Home - no difference. In the Sonos App (Android) under Voice Assistants, the rooms containing the pairs have disappeared and when I try to add them back in the process starts, but then keeps saying `try again`.The Arc still works fine, so having read lots of reports of Google Assistant problems I’m reluctant to try Unlinking the Sonos account in Google Home.Very cross as we use voice to control multiple lights, heating etc. and we’ve invested a lot of ££ in Sonos!!
"Sonos Google Assistent bevestigingen uitschakelen". Hoe doe je dit? Moderator Note - Translation by Google: “Turn off Sonos Google Assistant confirmations”. How do you do this?

Hi, recently the Google assistant volume on my Sonos One has become unlinked to the volume control of the speaker and is now currently too loud. I know for certain this is a new issue as this is my bedroom Speaker and it all of a sudden is deafening, and the volume of the voice does not change whether the speaker volume is 1 or 100. Can you please advise?
Hi all,I am setting up Google Assistant to work with my Arc.During the process it decides it wants to control my Panasonic TV.As my TV has its own Google setup, how do I stop Sonos from managing the TV and creating conflict? Many thanks
De spraakassistent doet al meer dan een jaar helemaal niets. Hij hoort mij niet en geeft dus nooit antwoord. Irritant Moderator Edit: Google Translate - The voice assistant has not done anything for more than a year. He doesn't hear me and therefore never answers. Annoying
Hi all,I'm in the UK and in the process of setting up Google Assistant with my Arc.In order to play music I need to select a default music player in Google Home to associate with the Sonos.I would like to select Sonos Radio as my default source rather than YouTube Music but I can't find a way to select it, either in Google Home or via the new Sonos app.Would someone be kind enough to assist? Many thanks
I have just purchased a Sonos Beam Gen 2. I do enjoy the sound but cannot connect to Google Assistan.I notice over the last week or so, others have a similar problem. I have tried using the ‘bot’ and email with no help at all.I am a newbee and was wondering if anyone knows what’s going on? Is there a solution? or are we waiting for a fix from Sonos?Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank
Whenever I try to link google to Sonos I get that SONOS IS UNREACHABLE error. This has been ongoing for the past 4 days since I got my new device. At this point I am better off returning it and sticking to another brand of speakers.
Tried everything including resetting etc. getting the same error (see images)
