Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

From the "Now playing" screen, when you touch at the bottom, the speakers playing in the group show first followed by speakers that are not playing. If you slide finger up to see the speakers lower in the list everything is fine. If you slide down to head towards the top of the list, the entire screen disappears and reveals whatever screen was behind it. To get back to that point where you can adjust the volume, you have to go through several taps.  This behavior can be very frustrating because sometimes it will scroll while other times, it will slide away . There is an "Apply" button at the bottom of the volume adjustment screen so in my opinion, we should be required to hit the "Apply" button when we are done and the screen should not disappear when we are simply trying to scroll back up to the top. Is there a way to mandate hitting the "Apply" button when you are done and otherwise keeping the screen there regardless of how you scroll?

every time I use Sonos it takes forever to load up. response on functions is slow, especially volume control / pause / play. It keeps losing the names on my amps and goes back to default. it’s never been as bad as it Is now on performance. The app design itself - still waiting for something great to happen. 

I have 3 x One SLs in different rooms around the house. Bought 2 x Era 100s at the start of the year to add to the system as the One SL’s no longer in production. Set them up and added to the system, but they keep disappearing.  Have re-booted the system and looked re-added but the same thing seems to happen. It’s only the 2 x Era 100s which disappear.  Ubiquiti WiFi infrastructure and good connection throughout.  Any thoughts welcome. Thanks

Hi there,I have a Premium Family Spotify account. I log into my daughter’s Spotify account on Sonos before she plays music using a voice command with Alexa but that music still appears in my own recent listening history on my own Spotify account.Why is this? Is there anything I can do stop this happening / affecting my Spotify algorithm?Thanks,James

I have a CD player and a turntable (built-in pre amp) to connect to my Sonos ecosystem.If I have paired Sonos 5s can I use the 3.5mm audio-in on each 5 to then play through the stereo pair (and in other rooms for that matter)?I think I can but want to check firstthanksOldskool

I was having trouble with only getting stereo from my Apple TV into Sonos Beam (sub and 2 Symfonic bookshelf speakers for surround), connected to a Samsung frame (from Dec. 2023). I thought it was a problem with EARC, so I swapped out the Beam for Sonos Arc, connected the sub & surround speakers, and connected through optical.after switching around with the settings within the appleTV and the Samsung, I was still getting only stereo sound on everything I played into the TV through the apple TV.Then I tried playing Disney+ directly through the Samsung. Behold! Dolby 5.1 surround!Then I realized that the only thing playing Dolby Atmos through the AppleTV was AppleTV+ content. Everything else was only playing in Stereo. Shame on you Apple! They better fix this soon.

Hello,I have a question that I have been struggling to find an answer to, and I’m hoping that someone here could help. I am in the process of making the switch from a TV to a projector (the Nebula X1), and that is going to cause some issues. The projector only has two HDMI inputs. They are both HDMI 2.1, and only one of them is eARC. I will need more HDMI inputs than that. The most obvious solution would be to use a receiver, which I am open to. However, I am already using Sonos speakers. If I were to get a receiver, I wouldn’t have the money or the desire to replace the Sonos speakers. I understand how you can turn a receiver into a Sonos speaker using the Port, but I don’t see much about going the other way around. Because normally, why would you? But I already have the Sonos speakers. I looked into HDMI switches, but I haven’t found any that seem powerful enough to preserve the video and audio in a way a receiver could (and even the few I

My ace headphones auto-connect to my phone first and I have to manually connect to my computer. I have turned OFF multipoint because multipoint ended up causing more issues (with ace keeping audio on my phone instead of on my computer during a slack call).Is there a way to prioritize devices for the ace headphones? First computer, second phone? I might end up unpairing my phone, but I do use them every once in a while on my phone.

Hey folks, any advice on this issue, is my speaker on its way out? 😪This evening I noticed a constant low buzzing sound coming from the left side of my playbase. I tried switching off for a minute and back on again, when sound first came back on there was a loud pop on the left side of the speaker followed but the return of the constant buzzing 😢

I have an individual Apple music subscription. On my apple devices, I can view the Library, which shows, albums, playlists, artists etc. On the sonos app, I have added apple music as a service, I can play music etc, but can not view any of the library content, I get the error message “No items available”I have spoken to sonos support, and removed the service and re-authorised etc, with no change.Sonos support asked if I have a family subscription, but I only have an individual subscription, why would I need a family subscription, it is my sonos setup and only me uses it?

Hi,I’m using this combination of hardware: Apple TV4K → LG G5 TV → Sonoc ARC.In Apple TV I have Dolby Atmos enabled. In LG G5 I have Bitstream, passthrough and eARC enabled. Sonos ARC is connected to eARC.Dolby Atmos is working perfectly but whenever I’m running 8K HDR YouTube content or non Dolby Atmos on Netflix or other streaming, I’m getting only Stereo PCM or Multichannel PCM.When I’m using TV WebOS built-in Netflix or YouTube app, I’m getting Dolby Digital.Dolby Digital sound much better and richer than PCM from Apple TV. Dolby Digital audio is much louder and has a lot more of bass.Is there any fix for Apple TV4K?

My sonos amp is currently connected to my router. We are moving home and our router will not be next to my sonos amp or my two play 3rs.Is it possible for my whole network to be Wi-Fi in my new house? 

I just bought a Sonos Five and I would like to mount it in a wall made in concrete. Can you pls suggest a structure to put it on the wall as Sonos does not provide one specific for the Five like they do with the outdoor speakers. Thank you

I have a Beam (Gen 2) and Sub Mini, and I’d like to connect a record player.I bought a preamp and a Sonos Connect, but the Sonos app says the Connect isn’t compatible.Is there any workaround?I saw someone on YouTube using this exact setup and it worked.Any help would be much appreciated!

Every time I go to use TV swap with my Sonos Ace headphones I have to do reboot my Sonos soundbar to get it to work.A couple days later I will go to watch a film and can’t connect again. There is an 8 step tutorial that I found on here that I know from heart that goes something like thisUnplug soundbar Turn of Ace Turn off Bluetooth  Close Sonos app Plug soundbar back in After sounbar has booted, open app Turn Bluetooth back on Turn on AceIt works every time but a couple of days later you’re doing the whole thing again, I never power off any of my soundbars and they can’t all be broken (I have 4 around the house)It just makes me think my whole system was a waste of money. Is anyone else experiencing this problem or has anyone heard of a more reliable system on the market where you can also connect headphones with Dolby Atmos please let me know Thanks

After using Sonos music system, when I turn on our TV in our great room, the TV sound is broadcast to 7 other rooms in our house.  How do I effectively prevent TV sound in each of the other rooms? 

I would be awsome if sonos made software so you could add all the speakers you wanted in one big sones home theater 

Keeps loosing connection , anybody with any ideas ?

I purchased a FLAC encoded music album. Unfortunately, the sample rate is 96k. I’ve resampled the music to 44.1k using VLC media player.What I’m finding is that each of the resampled songs (files) play on my SONOS system. But the files are not linked together as an album. Also, the album artwork is not associated with the music files.Any suggestions as to what I did wrong and/or what I should do?Thx,Marty

Hi,I’ve a Sonos Arc which has had the touch controls disabled until recently, and now I’ve discovered it is from a faulty batch that had an issue with the touch controls constantly enabling and disabling the mic. Raising the RMA was painless enough, however the Advanced Shipment option has an issue accepting credit card details to place a hold on my card until the faulty unit is returned.I don’t want to use the Standard Shipment option for a few reasons:1: I’ve a workaround in that I can disable the touch controls and the Arc behaves as expected2: I’ll be able to use the box the replacement Arc arrives in to safely return the faulty unit3: Shipping from the UK to Poland will leave me without a system for a week or two if I use StandardI called the 0800 026 1526 support number and the agent was very understanding, and explained there has been an issue with the advanced shipment section of ‘support.sonos.com’ accepting card deta

Guys I’m not sure what’s wrong with my system or when it happened.The first movie experience (Dune) was amazing, best atmos I’ve experienced at home and I didn’t want to push volume above 25% because I have neighbors and it was impressive already. That was around November last year.in the meanwhile I added a 2nd Sub 4 that is a great addition. However the system feels nerfed since a while: Volume needs to go to 40% in the Sonos App and it feels less impressive than before. Did quite a lot TruePlay advance runs but not much success.I’m using AppleTV 4K, HdFury Arcana (but from the start)Any software / hardware or firmware upgrade that could cause this? Sonos volume % should give roughly the same power output to everyone or?one thing to mention: the volume control via Apple TV remote usually doesn’t work, does this include source volume?

My current music library is stored on a WD My Passport and requires to be connected to my computer all the time for me to access my music on my SONOS speakers which is a real pain.  Is it worth investing in a home networked device (NAS drive) if so does anyone have any suggestions of what to look for.  My computer uses windows 11.

I have recently converted my music folder from MP4 to M3 and it is stored on my PC Windows 10.Thispc/music/MP3 On setting the new pathway it has solved most problems but a lot of the tracks on Sonos playlists still show as MP4 (even though there is only one pathway to the MP3 folder)  Some tracks on the playlists  play some do not.Have I missed something? Deleting and updating the playlists works but would take forever
