I just did the updates on the ERA 300 and the ERA 100s.

I use the Apple Music.
I downloaded all my music in the highest quality.

Thank you.

On my system, using the Sonos app, the app still says what the quality of the music is that I am playing.

Can you clarify how you are using Sonos? Are you using the Sonos app or the Apple Music app? You speak of downloaded music?

A day ago mi e displayed this also. Not anymore.

I have tried using Alexa. I’ve tried using Sonos and any type of verbal configuration I can think of to get it to play my library of high resolution lossless, Apple Music or lossless Apple Music. I’ve tried individual albums and bands, songs.

I just deleted the Sonos app and trying to reinstall.

I just deleted the Sonos app and trying to reinstall.

I like to Shuffle my Apple Music library 95% of the time.

I’m also wondering how much storage does Sonos have if I save or favorite songs to the Sonos app specifically? Can we save it in high resolution lossless? Can we save it in lossless format thank you.

I have tried post delete and reinstall of the Sonos app to natively play my Apple Music library and Airplay. That area in your screenshot used to show up but NO LONGER on mine.

I can get it to play Hip to be square by HUEY LEWIS AND THE NEWS made for spatial audio and on the right side of the Sonos app it now says lossless.

I can get it to play Hip To Be Square by HUEY LEWIS AND THE NEWS made for spatial audio. On the right side of the Sonos app it now says lossless. But only if I go to the MADE FOR SPATIAL AUDIO and filter through all the crap to play real music made before auto tune and griding or computer made “Music”

There needs to be a way that I can somehow get my Sonos speakers to play apples, high resolution losses, audio in my library, or at the very least lossless audio in my Apple Music library, and be able to have it automatically shuffle.

I do not like to have to every song that I played literally have to filter through and select it individually each time to play every single song.

I also enjoy listening to a variety of styles of real music, not what is passed on as music today. My description of what classifies as music today is McDonald’s music. I say this due to it’s made extremely cheaply and fast! Often by one person and a computer and then other times just buy a computer and no people involved.
Have you ever wondered why there are no bands any longer? It used to be the top 100 songs was 95% bands. Now the top 100 songs is a computer or a computer and one person.

So you are playing Apple Music from the internet, using Airplay? So what’s this about downloaded music?

If I Airplay to my Sonos the screen in the Sonos app indeed does not show what quality is being played. I’m not sure it did in the past because I do not use Airplay on Sonos much.

The Sonos app is only a remote to the system. The system does all the work.

The Apple Music app also does not show quality though:

When I say “hey Sonos” or “Alexa” shuffle my Apple Music library, it used to shuffle my library, and then it would display the quality on the screen. Again, 95% of the time I like to use shuffle because one songs bluegrass, another song could be jazz. Another song could be rock. Another song could be country western another song could be R&B., etc.

it would be nice if I could find a way to play specifically all my high Rez lossless music or lossless music, quick, and easily.
I download songs onto my iPad 2 tb capacity and iPhone only 1tb storage . I have less than 1 terabyte of songs on my iPad.

Not a great deal of storage is available, but Sonos does not store any music, in any format. It stores pointers (urls) to music in Favorites, and Sonos Playlists.
