Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Hi all  just a general question. Lately using my NAS drive, with many years of music. Ripped from cd's  downloaded. Question is how do I sort the different  levels from them? Some of my early cds, lower level Compared to newer ones.Thanks

Just received my Sonos ace headphones, they are completely flat with no charge, and none of the USBC chargers I've tried will charge them. The orange ligh comes on, then goes off. I've even tried charging them from my laptop and my mobile phone, and get the same. If I hold the button in, the start up sound begins and then cuts off. I wish I'd researched these more, they're going straight back to Sonos, I can't even register them on the app to reset them, very disappointed 😞..

My ARC stopped working with my Sony Bravia 940D75 but works trough optical connection. Spent hours with Sonos tech and had Best Buy tech out and they said it may be mother Board in 3 yr old Bravia. Has anyone had a motherboard issue happen 

I’m incredibly disappointed that after years of this known bug, nothing has been done on Sonos’ end to rectify it.  Here’s the issue: I have an 85” Sony TV, an Apple TV and the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) paired with a Sonos Mini Sub and two One SL’s for surround sound.  If I’m using Apple Music on my Apple TV it sounds great!  Until I try to pair what’s happening in the living room with my bedroom and office speakers.  The bedroom and office speakers, one Sonos Roam that moves around the house and two Play 1s, the audio will experience dropouts in the bedroom and office.  No dropouts in the living room, only those other two rooms (three speakers.) In the past, when chatting with support, I’ve been told that my wifi is the issue.  Which is a bull**** response - I’ve never had any issues with my wifi aside from the occasional having to turn the router off and back on again.  In other conversations I’ve been told it’s a known bug/issue. My workaround for music has been connecting to my Sonos Roam

Hi all,Is there any body have similar question which I mentioned on the topic?I got one Arc Ultra in the US and 2 ERA300 bought in Japan.Before the APP updated in the recent day, the connection between ultra and ERAs are OK (still not stable and don’t know why) but I cannot figure out the issue after the update after APP version 80.16.32-.So the problem resulted from the update of APP or anything else ?Hope can know the hint then figure out this issue soon.  

I recently found the perfect solution for a smaller room in the house; creating a zone with my Sonos Five and Sonos Era 300 for easy connectivity and playback.  I recently purchased a Sonos Mini Sub in an attempt to add it to the zone via the Sonos Era 300.  Turns out that you cannot have any subs in the zone.  I added to the sub with my Sonos Era 300 and settled with grouping the Five in each time I use the speakers.  It would be much easier if the Sub was able to be connected to one of the speakers and also allowed to be added to the zone together.  This would subtract the need to group my speakers together every single time I want to use them.  Please add this feature!

Hello,I would like to know if there is a way to add a radio station based on its streaming URL, without using TuneIn or any other 3rd party app ? I know this was possible in the past in the SONOS application. If this feature been removed would appreciate to have it being re-introduced. Thanks for your feedback,Regards

Upgraded the Sonos Controller for Mac to the latest version. I’m running Sequoia 15.4.1. When I try to access my system, the Controller says it can’t find it and something about firewall. I’m not running a firewall (double checked that). I can control my Sonos system with my mobile app just fine. Any ideas

Trying to add NAS ip address using sonos app on Android phone. When I get to add address, keyboard on phone doesn't appear. I've try resetting and using other device (android tablet) but have been unsuccessful. 

Hey folks, I would love if everyone checked their Era 100s and 300s and see whether the back and forward buttons take a more deliberate (longer or harder) press than compared to the play/pause and volume slider buttons.It seems to be less sensitive and I need to press it multiple times to get it to register a touch? I wonder if this is a fault or by design.CheersVideo test attached  

I have the latest app. on my iPad and it works fine BUT try as I might I can not add a music folder located on my W11 PC to the app. Both are on the same network. The network is ticked as PRIVATE in W11.  The path is //John1/Music where John1 is the name of the PC. There is no issue the PC security firewall set up. After the app. scans I get:    //John1/Music is no longer available. The PC IS NOT ASLEEP!Can anyone help?  Thank you. John

Today was the fifth time in the past several months when our Sonos system randomly started playing music. This typically happens sometime between 4:15 PM central time and around 9 PM central time. initially, it was Amazon prime music that was automatically playing. So we deleted the service. Today the service was Sonos Radio. Which we never listen to. As we only listen to Pandora radio. We cannot find any posting on the Support website how to stop this sudden and somewhat alarming event to occur. Can someone please help?

I have a projector with an ARC HDMI output at the back of my theater room. I have an ARC ultra in the front of the room by the screen. I’d like to route the HDMI along the ceiling totaling maybe 35-40 feet. Is there any HDMI cable  that can handle this distance? What kind of cable? I have a 50’ HDMI from walmart that skips audio about every 30 seconds for a split second each time, When I moved the ARC ultra so I could plug in with the HDMI provided with the ARC ultra, the skipping was fixed, so I do think it’s the HDMI issue as opposed to wifi or some other problem.   

Apple officially released Spatial Audio support to third parties for airplay 2. Does the Sonos team have a plan to implement this feature and if so what is the rough timeline for this? I love the sound of Spatial Audio on my pair of era 300s but don’t enjoy having to use the app to do so. I’m prepared to take them back and wait until this feature works with airplay 2. I don’t want to have to though, so a fast follow for this feature would be a high priority for me. 

Recently I'm planning to buy a nas to stream my music library with my Sonos system. Is it gonna be possible with the Ugreen DXP2800? I'm not planning to buy a plex premium account, I just would like to use the nas as a streaming media center. Do you think it's gonna work flawless? Thanks

Over the last few days, when I have tried to play music, a message pops up on the app, saying that it’s unable to play music because the account is being used at another location.I have never had my speakers out of the house. My wife is the only other person using the app that is connected to my speakers. There have been no changes to speakers. No changes to Wi-Fi. No changes to the YouTubeMusic account which I stream most of my music from.  What do I need to do to be able to listen to music again?I can still listen to YouTube music on other devices, so I can’t believe the problem is with YouTube.

I am haveing lots of instability with my new routers WIF 7 .I have 17 speakers, in diferente rooms , all others wifi equipments are working very well, but sonos is a big problem for me now.I did a lot using difent configurantions, Static IP,  only wifi, with cables, without Cables, changing sonosnet channel, etc…   , but no results .Please could you guys give me some way tips or a place  to have suport by phone or chat ? Sonos Router AX6600 - WIFI 7 2 diferent houses 7 Play 12 Beam1 Playbar 2 MOVE1 Roam4 One 1 Subwoofer2 Boost1 Connect Na praia4 Play 1 2 One2 Beam1 SubWoofer2 Connect   

There have been requests to implement TruePlay multi-profile so far, but the reason it hasn't been realized is because the flash memory in the soundbar can only store one Trueplay profile.So here's one idea to work around this limitation: store the TruePlay profile in the cloud, either in the smartphone app or in your Sonos account, rather than in the soundbar. Then, when the user wants, we can transfer the profile we wants from the cloud to the flash memory in the soundbar, overwriting the profile stored in the soundbar.

I have a Play Bar, play 1 surround sound and gen 2 sub connected on wifi, using Apple TV and Sony TV on Dolby 5.1. Since the app incident, my sub has simply stopped any output. I can see it’s connected to the Play Bar in the system but there’s no bass, vibration, sound. I’ve spent time chatting with Sonos and sent all my diagnostics, but to no avail. Has anyone else had this issue?

The Idea is to have a different led color to show speakers are grouped. We group from time to time and then when someone stops playing the whole group stops. If you visually see the Sonos is grouped you know you need to ungroup.

Normally you can unmute a muted single room and also a muted group of rooms by moving apps volume slider. Latest Android app for that works like expected, but latest iOS app doesn’t and I suppose it’s a bug. ​@Corry P or another mod… can you confirm if it’s a known issue?  Using volume slider for a single room or main slider for a group of rooms doesn’t work. Hi, I would like to stream music from my Mac computer directly to one of several sonos speakers that I would like to purchase.  I’m thinking about purchasing a port-Network Audio Streamer that will connected directly to my computer and play what I want without relying on some paid streaming service.  More importantly, I don’t want to a phone or phone app to control anything.  I wish to have my computer directly control my sonos speakers.  I understand to control the equalization of sound (bass/treble) you have to use a phone app which is fine and hopefully that’s a one time setup, however if I want to play music, I don’t want my phone to control anything. I do not want to walk over to the other room where my phone is to play music, stop the music etc…  or, If my 4G network is down, broken, or if I lost, or temporarily misplaced my phone somewhere, it would render my system useless for days.Would I be able to stream and control my music directly from my computer?

the app is crap and continues down the spiral. trying to control the volume of multiple speakers simultaneously by using the “main” volume controller and i get to watch the volume level of the individual speakers go all over the place. sometimes an individual speakers volume controller button doesn’t populate, just a grey line where the speaker volume button and volume level should be showing. Crap. All these speakers in my house. Don’t buy these products. The company has gotten to big for its own good. i was an early adopter, having purchased my first speakers at least ten years ago. the last two years have been a struggle and i regret the investment.
