Once the Sonos app for Mac updates, I lose my Music Library. I then have to go through some weird way to get it connected again. This is the best way to get it reconnected that I have found: Once I get it connected and able to hear songs from my Apple Music library, it only plays the songs that I have previously added to a queue or playlist. If I look for another song in my Music Library to add to a playlist (or queue), it tells me there are “No selections available.” I’ve tried updating my music library (I do realize it takes a while), but it doesn’t seem to help. Any suggestions?

I had to update the app and now my Arc and TV won’t connect, they were working together just fine….how do I fix it? Why is it every time there is an update, it takes hours to fix my system…..what’s up with that Sono’s???

I just wanted to ask if others have experienced this potential bug; when running Era 300s as surrounds for an Arc Ultra in music mode, the Full/Ambient surround settings change the the sound of the Era 300s even when I’m playing Atmos music (this is through Apple Music on the Sonos app). The description of the setting, however, states that Full/Ambient shouldn’t apply to Atmos playback. I’m curious to know which setting, if either, is the intended EQ for the surrounds.

I could manage issues prior to the big beautiful app upgrade.I have had my One and One SL speakers for years. I have one plugged into ethernet. Two of my other speakers were struggling to stay stereo paired and I thought installing a mesh network to boost signal for Sonos would help. Not so much. I have to reboot my Iphone every time to get Sonos to “find my system”. In Network configuration Sonos shows two instances of my network. Those are the original network, and the mesh network I was encouraged to give the same name as the original. For example, my original network is named dummy123 and my mesh network install prompted me to name the mesh network dummy123. My Sonos system is on its own network on Channel 1

Play 1 light steady green. In Sonos app it shows with flickering I think indicating connected to wifi. But it is grey and I can move volume but it is grey and no sound

Hi! I have the Sonos One speaker, and the Sonos Ikea speaker, and it’s always had a big issue playing podcasts from Spotify.  Playing music from audio (via Airplay, or the other option where it’s not airplay but I just choose the speaker in Spotify) works perfectly.  With podcasts it will just randomly stop for 5 seconds and start again.  This happens whether I use the Airplay option in Spotify, or the option where I choose the speaker in Spotify. Any solution??s

Hello, I cannot use my Sonos Ace microphone on online calls (Google meets, Microsoft teams...) when I choose the stereo sound output (which is the sound quality I prefer because the Hand-Free AG audio is not good), only my laptops audio is possible to use. I could use both audio output and headsets microphone on my previous Airpods pro, so i don’t understand why i cannot use them on my Sonos Ace.

I’ve noticed a few times already when I pause a movie or TV show for a couple of minutes then resume playing, the Beam doesn’t output any audio even though it is on and I can control the volume up and down. The audio output is set to “ auto” default settings in my TCL Tv. It’s connected via HDMI arc the TV supports Dolby Atmos. My usual fix is to turn off the tv and turn it back on, a bit annoying

Hello! I have a question regarding the intended behavior of two Era 300s as surrounds in an Arc Ultra set up. It feels to me like the Era 300 side drivers are noticeably louder (maybe 6dB?) than the rear drivers. I’ve noticed that when turning down the surround volume slider you can make the sides match the rears, as that slider only changes the side volume and not the rears. With default settings after TruePlay, this imbalance doesn’t sound ‘bad’, but I am wondering if this is the intended behavior. I want to make sure that when every slider is set to ‘0’ (after TruePlay) I’m getting the closest experience to what Sonos/Giles Martin & co tested/approved. Thank you! Edit for clarification: this is when playing Atmos from Apple Music through the Sonos app. This behavior is consistent between quick and advanced TruePlay with multiple rounds of each performed.

I have a new Arc Ultra paired with an amp that has four in ceiling speakers and am also using a wired Polk Sub that I had.  Whenever I change the Arc to use “Surrounds” the sub woofer doesn’t work.  The only way I can get it all to work at the same time is to keep them separated and turn the volumes up for both.  That creates a bit of an odd echo though and isn’t really surround.  Any thoughts on what I’m doing wrong?

This is more of a feature request.I would like to plugin the optical output of a CD player into a pair of ERA-300.(I know you can get an analogue USB-C adaptor but that goes digital to analog to digital)I would like a clean digital path to the DAC’s inside the era 300’s direct from a CD transport 

Looking at purchasing the Sonos Arc Ultra (and sub and rears), but been doing some investigation on how to connect the ARC to a Samsung TV via the One Connect Box … and could not really find much.  The ARC Ultra will be to replace my ageing Denon Amp and speakersMy Samsung One Connect Box, currently has the SkyQ box and another device connected to it … and then via the “one connect” cable .. runs to the TV.  There is also an Optical Cable connecting the Amp to the One Connect BoxSeeing as the ARC Ultra only has one HDMI port… how would this work with the One Connect Box …. would I just leave the the SkyQ and other HDMI device in the One Connect box … and plug the ARC Ultra into the One Connect Box?Thought a little diagram would help.  The red (ARC Ultra) is what I want to add  

Hi, Just added a RAY to my system  (4 x S1) and installed the latest version of the app for windows (Sonos_85.0-64200).The controller is just blank and I cannot work out what to do to make it active.The app works fine on my mobilePhoto shows the app screen on my pc which is running win 10.Any help much appreciated.

So I have  2 (surround) speakers connected to an AMP.The AMP is placed far away from the setup (basement), so there is no way to do wireless, and everything is wired.I have no soundbar yet… but are considering buying one… So my question is is it possible to use this AMP (that is only accessible by ethernet and not wireless) as surround for the Arc Ultra?

I'm fed up with Sonos products that can't stream music from my Apple Music service. I'm not even talking about the multiple bugs with speakers that lose connection to the network or the app that changes the name of the speakers as it pleases. I'm going to abandon this brand that is getting worse every year if all the problems aren't resolved quickly.

I have Ultra ARC and that is running well connect to our wifi system (Ruckus) however Sonos Sub 4 canoot connect (Sometime can connect but arround 10-15 second that is disconnected).and i need to make sure, Sonos using dual stack(IPv4 and IPv6 on this devices) for connectivity? if yes  then its possible for them to allow only IPV4 on this Sonas Device? Thank you for your attention and cooperation.

I have two Sonos system, one system with Sonos 2 app, and newer devices, and one system with Sonos 1 app and a connect device that does not funcion with Sonos 2 app.Since a couple of days Sonos is preventing me from using the Sonos 1 app. Instead they are showing a screen, instructing me to use the new Sonos app (which is impossible with the Connect device).Anyone else experincing this?

I know that Sonos speakers are limited to playback of 24/48 files.  I know that the Sonos system will convert 24/192, 24/96, 24/88.2 files to 24/48.  Does it also up convert 24/44.1. My real question is, is it better to allow the Sonos system to convert the files on the fly to the 24/48 resolution or would using a third party app to make the conversion to 24/48 prior to playback be a better option?  Would there be any gain/loss in performance and sound quality by converting those files prior to playback on Sonos equipment

Hi all, I’ve read a few comments where people have had similar experiences regarding loss of personally curated playlists, so assumed mine had disappeared into the Sonos ether for good, after  disastrous app update. I’d resigned I wouldn’t purchase Sonos again (6 speakers in!). However, just went to start over and when I went to add/save a song, all my previous playlists appear! I’m now hoping they’re still there somewhere but I just don’t know how I can access them? Any advice 🙏
