Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

  I was eating when I decided to turn off my sonos ace and when I turned them back on you would only hear on the right side however the noise cancellation and the left side buttons work perfectly as I try to restart and reset them but nothing works. 

I have a Sonos Beam and two Sonos ones for our TV, the Ones only kick in when music is playing.  How do I get the ones to play all sounds?

Hi, thanks in advance for any help or suggestions. I have been using HiFi Cast for more than a year with no issues at all. It was able to play to Sonos media renderer and all of my Sonos speakers played perfectly.It seems that in the last few weeks (not sure exactly when) that something changed. Now HiFi Cast will only play to one room at a time. Here is the odd behavior that I can't seem to get past. In HiFi Cast if I go under connected devices it displays all of my Sonos speakers, but only one speaker can be selected at a time. If I try to select something different it exits the connected devices screen and kicks me back out. If I then return to connected devices screen it will have made the change, but again just the one room is selected. I am unable to open the settings for each connected device although I see the gear icon beside each Sonos room.I have the following rooms in Sonos: Arc Group which has the Arc, a pair of Sub 3 and a pair of Fives.I have another room called Sides wh

Hello all,The connection of the play 1 device with my Sonos system doesn't seem to work, even after a reboot.The lights go from red to white, then orange and green.It worked with another play1 thou 

We bought this from Best Buy and happy with everything about it. But a week ago where we had a blackout, power and internet was out for a bit. After that, my other Sonos automatically reconnected except for my Ray. I tried resetting it, playing with the app to see if I missed a step, unplugging power then holding reset button then replugging power over and over and still nothing. It doesn’t seem to want to connect? I bought this a few months now and don’t have a receipt anymore as I find Sonos really indestructible besides their sound quality. I think I’m in a pickle now, this is my first time experiencing this. The unit cannot be discovered, cannot be reset, just an endless white blinking light no matter what you do?

I am trying to set up new amp to existing system and when I get to the prompt to push the “press the button on the sonos amp with the flashing light” and it shows picture of join button on rear of amp.I push this button and nothing happens.Is there a solution for this? I have tried all the advice on support. Thanks

Hi, my system comprises a Panasonic 55” 4k tv, Sky Q 2TB, Sonos sound system (Beam , Sub and 2 Play 1 as rear speakers), I also have a QNAP NAS that is linked to my Nvidia Shield Pro and have a major issue changing between Hdmi 1 (SkyQ) and Hdmi 3 (Nvidia Shield) as all my sound disappears and the only way I can get the sound back is to switch everything off at the wall and then turn it back on again, there must be an easier way to do this but have tried so many ‘solutions’ that I am doing my head in.Cheers 

What is the best level of sound for the rear era 100’s for surround sound?

When I watch TV, football, the announcers volume is fine but when the referee speaks, I can hardly hear them; Same with crowd noise, barely audible. Is this an Ultra malfunction or a setting?

For the past month or so my Sonos Arc has been dropping out periodically while watching television.  I believe it is rebooting itself based on the white pulsing status light.  I have tried quite a few troubleshooting steps but have not been able to solve the problem.  It is occurring approximately every 45 - 60 minutes.  Using Sonos ARC, Sonos Sub Gen3, Vizio P75 television and AppleTV 4k.  So far I have tried the following.Factory reset of soundbar Two different new HDMI calbes Plugging soundbar into different power outlet Changing CEC setting on Vizio television to ARC Only Rebooted Apple TVAny other recommendations?

See pic. They currently have the system setup to connect to their hotspot as the internet isn’t installed yet.  It’s playing through the speakers but won’t allow EQ adjustments.  I believe they are streaming Spotify currently.   

Factory reset both units….either unit sets up first all ok .Second unit goes through the process all ok until it tries to connect to the router via temporary wifi facility ..It sees and I can select the correct router ID but on proceeding it’s says the password is incorrect …even though it was correct for the first unit ..that’s it, back to square one !!!

The Ace have a markedly better sound profile that my AirPods Max (AM); however the precision of the AM’s volume control, especially at the lowest volumes, is peerless. It is quite granular and decreases to the point of barely hearing sound. This allows me to read, write, reflect, or sleep without intrusion.The lowest volume level on the Ace headphones is far too intrusive for the quiet enjoyment of one's music during said activities, which is a real shame (and perhaps not a priority for Sonos given the recent app debacle). I wear ANC monitors to shut out not create distractions, so it pains me to say that I may end up returning these despite my deep appreciation of their sound profile.I would note that other OEMs (eg, Bose QC Ultra earphones and earbuds) have the same issue, but I expect better from a more expensive product. This feedback relates specifically to my use of the Ace headphones with my iPhone and iPad. I recently purchased a Sony K50S30 and a Sonos Gen2 beam.  Both were installed by a 3rd party from Best Buy.   The issue is that every time I turn the tv back on the sound is coming from the tv speakers.   I can disconnect the eARC/ARC and make the beam work that way or I can press the power button on the tv remote and do a restart or I can unplug tv and beam,  disconnect everything connected to tv, plug tv and beam back in then go to the Sonos App and select TV setup and follow those instructions and then it works.   All this just seems wrong for equipment I have only had for 2 weeks.   Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

I would like to see in the Sonos app more detailed information about the playing signal from apple music instead of just „lossless“ or not. As there is a 3rd party app called „Bops“ for Apple TVos that is able to get this information from Sonos system I think it’s available and delivered by Apple. Maybe Sonos needs Apples permission to show it… so my wish is Sonos to ask Apple or also other services. Amazon Music is great and shows HD, UHD or nothing. 

Why can I not view or create alarms in the new mobile (iphone) app?I can with the desktop app on a PC. My old alarms are still working.In the new iphone app I can create an alarm, it saves, then doesn’t work. Next time I open the alarms it is not there.

I have almost completely stopped using all my sonos products except my Roam and the only reason i use that one is its bluetoothI have an Arc two play ones and so frustrated with them not working correctly and speaking to useless tech support and getting nowhere !1-Voice control on either Alexa or Sonos own voice control just stopped on its own and i have to reset my unit every time I want to use it.2-The app asks me to sign into my account every time i want to use it. 3-The controls from my phone to the Sonos system are so slow.I use to be a huge fan of Sonos and considered them above all. Now i wouldn't recommend them to anyone ! buy a Bluetooth speaker - much better off ! 

I have used an alarm for white noise while sleeping for years. It is from a track on spotify. The alarm comes on a specified time at night, and turns off at the time I wake up. I have always used one 3 hour track, set on a repeat loop.  For the last few months, the most horrible thing has been happening. At the end of the track, Sonos starts playing random music - often rock, dance, hip hop - I have no idea where it’s from. But I wake up in the middle of the night to loud music. I sometimes have internet connectivity issues in my bedroom (though this has never affected my white noise alarm for the last 3 years), so tried plugging in my sonos. No luck. I tried playing the song directly from spotify on my phone on repeat and casting to the speaker, but it failed partway through the night (probably from bad connectivity?). I tried switching Sonos speakers (I have a Play 1, Play 3, Sonos One) - no luck.  I am guessing this is due to an app upgrade. Does anyone have advice about how to reli

After a very frustrating phone call with Sonos customer support, I was finally told that my new Ray is not compatible with a TCL Roku IR remote.  Was told that Sonos  engineers are working in a fix.  Normally I would return this but I am 2 days out of the 30 day return window.  Does anyone know of a work around for this problem with the Ray? TIA

Here it is.  i have a defective unit (Roam) that I need to return for replacement. Spoke to CS service and received a return number and form to complete with credentials. Receiving a second email confirming return number and steps to follow to return the unit. Was supposed to get a separate email with the shipping labels that never came. Spoke to CS again (two more times) and they said labels were sent to email address (after confirming email). Of course junk/spam folders were checked and nothing there. Last CS rep I spoke to said they would escalate to return department that would send labels…..crickets…..crickets…..no labels,no follow up nothing.Very disappointing from a company I have been loyal to for many years.  How hard can it be to send a shipping label via email ???Apparently for SONOS it is really hard seeing all the different posts regarding this same issue within this community.  Just wanted to share another less than satisfied customer experience with you all. 

I have a surround sound system in my home with 2 amps howeber the app doesnt let me re set the amos and it only connects ti 1 of the 2 amps but doesnt tell me which one

how do I program my home sonos system: 4 speakers, a sub and a beam? I used to have it programmed for different radio stations all week, but now I can’t find the tab to begin programming

Sonos fails to find devices , or let me setup a new network after I changed Internet suppliers and therefore router. This after the sonos app not finding my music for 6 months is very frustratingI have searched a bit on google for a solution, but so far no help.  My phone app aks me to add a speaker or component, but then says wifi isnt connected, connect to a wifi, . There is no way to get to settings to try there.If I go to help centre it does give me an update network button, but when I try that it tries to do one device at a time, but cant find any devices, probably because it is looking on the old network. I have tried switching 3 of my 4 speakers off, connecting one via ethernet to the new router and then resetting this one, but it has made no difference. Why is there not an option to just update your network regardless of your speakers.  I am stuck in a loop I cant get out off, which presumably renders my speakers as binnable. Hi all, quick question. I previously had a Sonos beam and 2 ones’s for about 5 years. I have recently upgraded to an arc ultra and 2x era 300’s as surrounds.  my question is does/ has anyone had a similar experience to what I’m about to describe.  Firstly I stream music through airplay, Xbox series x and sometimes my Samsung 2024 qled tv.  I expected when I upgraded for the sound difference to be night and day, my dad has one era 300 and when I listened to it before purchasing my set up I was blown away with the way the speaker filled a room much bigger than mine with ease, I listened to the arc ultra at an electronic store and again it sounded fantastic.  I then purchased and installed my set up and heavy heartedly must say that it sounds marginally better than my previous beam and Sonos ones.  I have watched every video under the sun, tried everything I can and even spoken to Sonos support who said there was a few things they needed to fix on their end (I can’t remember exactly what)

Sonos won’t log me in, even though the credentials are correct, it will not give an error, it just disappears as if I’m logged in, but I’m not.?
