Linking beam to era 100

Hello,

I just received a pair of ERA 100s.  I am able to link my beam to one ERA and listen to the TV.  The TV remote controls the volume on Beam.  TV volume on ERA has to be controlled via app.  Is there a way to link the two where the tv remote will raise and lower the tv volume through the ERA and Beam at the same time?

Depends on what you want to be coming from the pair of Era 100s. If you want it to be surround info, yes, add them to the Beam as surrounds. They’ll end up in the same ‘room’ in the Sonos software, and all the devices will be controlled by the TV’s volume control.

If you instead want the ‘full sound’ (the front channels) of the TV, with the required 75ms delay, no, there is no way to control ‘grouped’ (not bonded) rooms with the TV’s remote. It will only control the one room that is connected to the TV directly.
