I can listen to Classic FM live via Global Player on my Sonos system with no problem.  But how do I play something that’s available via catchup in Globalplayer?  I’m currently playing it through my PC speakers with globalplayer.com in my web browser.

Unfortunately, what is ‘shown’ to you isn’t up to Sonos, it’s up to the streamer.

Hi @DSAJones

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

I did not already have Global Player added to my system, but I just added it now, clicked on it in the Sonos app and saw the following screen:

Global Player in the Sonos App

If the content you are looking for is not in one of those three sections shown, then Global Player have decided not to make the content you are looking for available via the Sonos integration.

Note that when I first opened Podcasts, I got a “content not available” error message, but I tried again and was able to browse normally - if this happened to you too, please just go back one step and try again.

I hope this helps.

Thanks @Corry P   I followed the options you showed and whilst it did show me a number of podcasts available through Global Player, unfortunately the specific Classic FM one I was looking for isn’t there ☹️

Hi @DSAJones

Understood. I just performed a search for “Classic FM podcasts” and got the most search results on YouTube Music, while getting a couple of actual Podcasts from myTuner (another radio aggregator which can be installed without the need for an account):

I don’t know if any of these are what you are actually looking for, but if not, you may be able to ask Classic FM themselves where their podcasts are available to play.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for that Corry. I'll have a look at those options. Cheers 👍
